Hi everyone,
I've already asked a similar question concerning the Asus transformer tablet and now I'm wondering if the same applies to the galaxy tab. Basically, what are the chances of a decent discount price in the next few weeks before I return home to NZ? I'm located in Manhattan at the moment.

The best I could find after looking since black Friday was 50.00 off so when best buy had it on sale yesterday I finally picked one up!

Staples had a $100 of any tablet in august so I picked up a new one then for $399

In Canada, Either Best Buy or Futureshop had $100 off the Galaxy Tab 10.1 as well as many other tablets.
I guess nobody has purchased the $32Gb version? Am I the only one?

100$ for 16gigs of space? Rip off. They purposefully left the sdcard slot out to lure us into this cash cow just like apple. Samsung should know better. My phone has more gigs...and a faster, better processor at that! The tab still is the best honeycomb out there tho.

Consider it a "ripoff" if you want. For my thinking the only way to get the space is to buy it with the tablet. I'd rather spend $100 now than run short of space later.

My phone has 40GB of space. But, it doesn't have a Tegra2, and I doubt yours does as well.
However, the GTab 10.1 rocks, with Task's ROM. Who cares how much storage is local? Storage comes and goes. I have servers with 32GB of RAM and terabytes of disk. Yet 16GB onboard is more than sufficient for my tablet.

bought my 32gb from best buy cuz it was an open box (a return) for $525 couple days before christmas.
They have them at walmart for 400 witch is less than I paid
Just a quick heads up, and it's not quite as epic as the original firesale, but the 16GB and 32GB HP Touchpad are on woot and sellout woot today for (if I remember correctly) $169 and $209/219 respectively. Refurb condition, but hey for that price, who cares! Hope you all get one (those who wanted it, but missed the original sale). Good luck!

I'm going to sell my perfect and pristine (screen etc) white Gnex for about 250 Euro, I think. However, going to wait a little longer for some 'good news' we are all hoping for. I wonder, have there been rev.2 Gnexi, hardware wise?
Haven't yet as I need a phone while I wait for the Nexus! How could I possibly sell mine before getting a new phone and be left phoneless? No sir, would never happen voluntarily!
Anyhoo, after a couple of days to make sure there are no major problems with the Nexus, I intend to trade in my Galaxy S2 for £147 in my local CEX shop. I know I could get more for it on Amazon but there's no guarantee of a sale and it's far more convenient to just walk into the shop than faffing around with the postage and packaging etc.
So that effectively halves the price of the 16GB Nexus 4 which I intend to buy.
Roll on Nexus 4 release!!! :victory:

I'm somewhat new to the "tablet" world. I bought a Xoom when it came out, needed the money so I sold it off. I'm an android fan (of course) and have the GSIII. Anyhoo, I have a chance to purchase a TF300T 32GB model today for $180. Is that a good deal? Is it worth me doing it?
I would appreciate any review/advice.

Go get it! And consider buying a key docking as well
Using this device for few weeks now and I really appreciate having it. Replaced my netbook and offers me so much more features to it. And as far as I know it's the only tablet that offers a key docking as well - which is really useful

This one is a really good case for the TF300T, It can either be used with just the tablet or the tablet and dock. Nice and interchangeable

For that price, you need to get it ASAP! I paid $299 for my 32gb tf300t and $49.99 for a blue dock. I thought that was a very good price. $180 is a steal for a 32gb.

I bought it from Office Depot the day after Black Friday. I originally bought the 16gb from Best Buy for $279 but after reading here, I found that Office Depot had the 32gb for only $20 more so I took it back and went to Office Depot.

For those not familiar with Woot, they are a very reliable company. So I don't think you'd have any issues with a refurb if there are any issues. They also are unique in their shipping charges. They charge $5 no matter how many you order. Sorry though, no idea if or how they handle shipping outside the U.S.

300 British pounds is approximately $600 or so USD, if I'm not mistaken. Mine should be here Monday.
ETA: Okay it's basically $470 USD. That's not a bad price for brand new.
