Do you think the AOSP ROM works without any modifications on your X10?
Of course not, otherwise we'd already have CyanogenMod and Modaco ROMs.
I think we should leave this to jerpelea, building a ROM from scratch is really complicated.

these stupid threads need to stop... i was thinking this was about a new rom release for my x10... instead this thread informs us about irrelevant news about a AOSP rom for another phone..
Devs are allready working on a AOSP rom for x10 for weeks (yes therye allready is a pre-alpha rom with gingerbread for x10, only no good HW support)
please read/search before you make new threads..

all rights of GingerBread custom rom for x10 is reserved for J and Z and other devs.
Of course, the devs know.

i dont think you can read, he said "and other devs" so hes referring to any dev in just general and idk why this thread is still active, either this needs to be locked or deleted, this is gonna create some havoc later

Why?, all the guy is doing is mirroring files and letting us know where they are
It doesnt matter if other devs are currently doing an aosp build of google. im going to close this thread cause other people are doing other things
However since it is mainly a developer based thread then il move and rename it

info about MIUI ROM

Hi guys
Have anyone info about the MIUI rom for our Xperi x8, i read in other forums that people have ported it to the big x10 and some have problem, others not....
Someone says that the ROM for x8 is alredy done, i will spend next days and search the hole internet cause MIUI is just amazing
if anyone have any info, share it with us!

You can find MIUI ROM in alpha state on X8 Android Development...

I try it, but it look like a theme framework.. :/ not like the others on the htc devices, and the apps dont work :/

I'd love to know how that they do make a custom ROM, I have found software for making custom roms but its just for HTC devices, that we can somehow help, it would be good to speed up a bit making MIUI rom for our xperia...as an example, I have enough time to work on it, but if I had enough nerves maybe

till now, any report regarding this post???? im waitng for it!!!!

you don't even look at the date of publishing this thread, this thread was starded before some guy from G1 forum announced that MIUI are not possible for armv6 devices!

i have seen the villain rom v1.0.1 post and also saw the comments which were very nice so i wanted to try the rom
first of all before flashing any rom i see a screenshot of that rom,how does it look!!!
but there was no screenshot so i tried that rom and made a review for you guys on that!!!!

Sorry bro but its not based on stock ROM its based on creed's v2.5 since i followed hell_lock's thread on how to make a rom i found that using creed's as a base rom will be better...i also have pm'ed Mr.Creed for his permission

And i am very glad that you told us this before releasing the rom. Pratyush hasn't given anyone permission to use his rom as a base, as far as i know. If he gives you the permission, well and good. If he dosen't, then your thread (the one in which you release your rom) will be closed for breaking XDA's rule no. 12, however good it might be. Best way - make a flashable zip of all the changes to his rom and release it as an update to creed v2.5. It's not wrong to use others' roms as a base to yours, but then you gotta respect the other devs decision.

creeds rom has signatures on it,
so its every easy to know if the work was from him

You can't develop a ROM just by searching on Google. Do you know anything about developing / porting? Because it's not the easiest thing you can ask aniket.lamba to help you. Otherwise, you will have to read a guide and understamd its full content. If you're planning to develop a ROM for our phone, I wish you good luck.

Let me tell you that Broadcom released the drivers for BCM21533. That means that a stable CyanogenMod 9 build will be developed and released soon. Wait patienly for this ROM, which will be running real Android 4.0 ICS. Wait until it's publshed. You will find the ROM at Galaxy Y GT-S5360 Android Development (when it's released)

thats for y o bro not for y duos..all cm released for y duos is basically ported and also not stable+many bugs+single sim only or sometimes no sim works
