Hi all.
When I flash a new ROM and install google apps, during configuration Play Store use to download my apps backup automaticaly.
I installed Eppy 1205 and the apps backup was not restored. I selected all sync options but the apps was not downloaded automatically.
There is somethig to do to download all my apps at once?

I tried but I dont know why this ROM is not rooted. "Eppy 0805"
I'll flash the more updated (1405) version and try to use titanium again.
I have the same problem with ARHD 6.3.3. on my HtcDHD.I liked that feature...
this problem also happened when i first flash the quarx build , maybe the sync mode still not perfect

Ive been using villian 3.4 for a while now and have gotten it just the way i like it, i really want to move to 4.0 but i just find it so time consuming to install all the apps and change all the settings and add accounts etc, is there a backup program that will basically transfer everything over ?
Try Titanium Backup, donate version.
Install it from the market and make a batch backup of all user apps + system data.
Then reboot into recovery and make sure you don't forget to perform a nandroid backup (to be able to revert in case something goes wrong).
Now you can install the new ROM and then use Titanium Backup again, this time to restore apps, settings, market entries, the works...
Good luck!
hi,
I on KF2 stock firmware now and I want o flash KG5 which i suppose is latest.
I learnt that Google does not store the apps which i had installed previously. Every time I flash (wipe) I have to install the apps from beginning and the My apps in Market is always empty.
I have / had switched on the sync but never worked for me
I think I can take a backup using Titanium backup and restore it
Question is:
1. I have 3G watchdog installed and it has stored the bandwidth consumed. Is it possible to backup/restore the data ? if so how?
2. IS it somehow possible to make Google remember my apps installed?
Thanks

When you first set up the phone, there will be a question on whether you want google to back up your apps and data (contacts, etc). However, it only applies to apps installed via market, and not for those installed via backup. I think it's not related to sync, but with backup.
Google only backup your apps, but not the data related to them. Just copy the folder with the info and paste in the same directory after the backup. It should work latter with no problem.

ok thank you very much

The problem is that after reinstallation the apk works, but I can not restaure my data through Titanium. For ex. I could not recover all my task in any.do.
Also I have FC in google when I try to reinstal an application from Titanium.
May be I will flash again the rom and then decide if keep it or not.
Hi,
I need to backup my apps and data, contacts and messages. I used to backup with GO Backup, and it worked flawlessly up to android 4.4, but now on LP and M I can not use it anymore. It was very simple and as soon as I restored my backups everything was back to normal (I didn't even need to login or register again in apps like instagram or whatsapp...). Now I use Titanium, but after restoring backups, I should login to every app, which is troublesome and it can not backup contacts and messages.
I was wondering what app you use with LP or M for backups, and if it is as simple and effective as GO Backup ?

I have the last version, I think it's 3.51. It can not backup apps and data, I've given go backup root permissions, but when it starts, an error is being shown, saying that go backup can not read or write sd card. do you know anyway around it ?

change the storage location to internal bcoz in miui lp sdcard can be write only with default explorer
Contacts & Messages backing up possible with Titanium backup .. For contact's backup go to Titanium backup > contact storage ... Do Same for messages..
Easiest way to Backup contacts is google

Use titanium backup latest version.. It's the best
hi,
I've been on cm 13 and backed up all my user apps with Titanium Backup v8, I even created an update.zip of my backups.
Then I clean flashed the latest Mokee 6.0.1 rom. Now I can not restore my apps either on titanium backup or via recovery and update.zip . In titanium backup, restoring gets stuck at 0% and in recovery it gives an error.
Does anyone know what should I do ?
Ok it seems that no one experienced this problem. After hours of searching and trial and error I've found a way to solve this problem.
In Titanium Backup --> preferences --> app processing mode (scroll all the way down to see it) --> change it to Interactive. If you batch restore your apps and data, it will ask you each time to install your apps (which is very annoying!), but it works and won't get stuck on 0% .
If anyone ever found a better way, please mention it.

Try Titanium Backup PRO version. Then you don't have to every time click for install. It will automatically install all the apps. You just have to do 1 click.

It was the PRO version. It seems that titanium has this problem with some android 6+ roms. The above mentioned solution(!) to install each app manually, was mentioned as a workaround for this problem.
