bwaghahahahhh, that was funny. This guy is pretty good. I'd have to agree with the presentation being very bland and lacking passion. And please, no more JK Shin on the stage, at least to give a long talk like he did. Like the video said, im sure he did a lot of work but It totally takes away from the experience.

I have no problem with JK Shin. I had no problem understanding what he was saying (and english is not my first language). Actually, he was better than everyone else at that presentation, honestly. God, how can Loesje be the head of marketing at Samsung? ><

It is kind of sad because for some it will probably take focus away from how awesome this phone actually is. And it's also kind of mind blowing that they don't spend the resources needed to make the presentation perfect. There must be some management issues.

Soooo... It looks like the Evo was starting to pull ahead and all of the sudden engadget deletes the article, poll and comments. Sadly, it was a little more balanced than the previous article that was an Apple sausagefest.
Then again, it probably didn't help Steve Jobs any that the android engadget app has a widget.

Oh, come on. Engadget has been talking about how great the Evo is forever, they gave it an awesome review, and they're pretty reasonable overall.
I bet it just became too much of a hate-fest between fanboys on both sides.

Wow I'm surprised they actually did that. Surely they have some "reason" for it.
In the past they just disabled the comments, not delete the entire article. Anybody else remember when comments were disabled on engadget?

You are probably correct. The exchanges between fanboy camps can get pretty heated.
they are biased to whoever gives them more ad money. They pay the bills, guess who the boss is? Who spends more advertising revenue, apple or evo? Thats who gets more positive spin.

Joshua is trying to say that they aren't worried which phone wins in the poll since that's our opinion not theirs. Basically I agree with them everyone is getting a bit paranoid. They gave the Evo a great review, and face it the iPhone is a good smartphone. Their reason for taking down the review was good of course if they had put up their explanation right away then people would had less conspiracies to make up.

To me it was a pretty silly reason... it was a poll not a comparison. People were free to makeup their own minds. I think once something is put in print it should stay that way.

Well like I said if they had put up their reason right away and just transferred the poll then it would have been fine, but the article itself was a comparison, which is silly to try to do an in depth comparison of a device you saw in a controlled environment for an hour to a device you were allowed to use for weeks.
You guys have got to be kidding me...a "cover up the EVO love" conspiracy? Come on! The EVO wasn't even winning the poll before they took it down. They even posted an awesome review of the EVO.
It's embarrassing reading some of the Android fan's comments about this around the internet.

Most people tend to lose their sense of humor when fun is poked at things they own, particularly when it's an Apple product.
Unless I missed it, there's not a single Apple logo or mention of the word "Apple" or "iPhone" in the ad. And as to all the sad people who are saying "waah, don't mock another companies product", um, "Mac Vs PC" ads anyone?

Hello Atrix users. Actually I cant't call myself an owner of an Atrix, but I saw this interesting test of germanys most importand recognized product testing foundation. They've tested and compared several smartphones and therefore, the Iphone is placed 1. marked with "2.0", which is like "B" in the US. But it has to share its 1. place with the Atrix. Moto's device was marked with "2.0" also. This is just the opinion of the news corespondent. I think, the Iphone has to share its 1. place with such a great device.

Word! But the thing which is hated by Android users is not the hardware. It must be admittet their hardware is...quite awesome. What we hate is (I just guess) their methods and their spamminglike lawsuits against samsung and htc. In your case, it's Itunes.

Last time I had an apple device in my hands it has ended in a brutal fight between the Iphone 3gs, my new desk and the sledgehammer of my uncle...it was the Iphone of my ex...she has cheated on me...she called me "psychotic", so I tried to make a call on her phone with a hammer, obviously it didn't work.
