[CUSTOM ROMS] I9300 All custom ROMs in one place

Alright everyone, Angelos from www.roms-db.com contacted me.
And i'm happy to let you know that after high demand, he's finished in adding all the Galaxy S III roms to his database of custom roms http://galaxys3.roms-db.com/.
He would greatly appreciate it if everyone could check out his site and maybe give some feedback if any information is wrong or missing. Also when there are any updates not mentioned (for example the android version (4.0.3
..., or the rom base (Touchwiz, etc...)))

- asphaltkiller, there are 2 ParanoidAndroid versions, the normal one and the experimental one

Hi guys,
I thought of creating a thread so that I could find clones of my device to get n also develop some roms, so here r the specs.
1.Android - 4.1.x jellybean
2.Chipset- 1ghz MTK6577 dual core
3.Screen res- 540×960 (qhd) or 480×800 or 480×854
4.Ram- 512mb
I guess this is almost enough to be a clone, pls comment below if u have one...

so i have the i9500 copy from korea , cpu : Universal , quad core , 2gb of ram , is there a way to root it and wich roms can i install on it ? can i install original s4 roms on it ?

Hi there,
If you have a copy/clone then it is very unlikely you will be able to do much at all with it. Have a quick look HERE

I searched the forum but could not find the ROM running for my phone (SM-N9000Q). Currently installed Android 5.0 stock. I want to change now. I want to install a new rom. One on the Internet
has installed Note 9 rom and the S pen has a live message feature. Can I upload it on my phone? I trust XDA forum admins. Thank you for your help in advance.

i just want to bring new life to this dummy ... and im looking for a good rom / kernel / step by step tutorial
i don't want anything fancy just something super lite whit out any bloatware but i dont know any idea ....
can someone help me ? some one that tested roms on this forum ? im confused right now what to chose ...
i don't what any special just a super lite thing fully functional ... i want to use this phone for call/sms/and 3g modem ...
no need to overclock or anything like this if u know any thing also for bandwidth performance please tell me

but I'm looking for someone that tested or searched before me that can help me .. maybe someone that installed a few roms and know exactly pros and cons for each one ... some experience ..

There are many roms for these phones. Dont look at Original Android Development go to Android Development. For best performance you should try some nougat roms. Pie roms are not that bad either. Anything above has some lag for me. GApps should be avoided if not necessary. Your phone codename is fortuna3g so try out some roms for it first. Maybe try slim7 or RR Pie
