you see, three answers three roms ... this kind of topics are useless. The concept "best rom" is quite subjective, just try all by yourself and find your favorite. Thread closed. Best regards,

I don't know if this has been made before though i have seen "what is the best ROM".
Basically what i need is a nice and snappy rom for everyday use that won't kill the battery and won't kill all my ram like stock. Don't want this thread to turn into a war and be closed I just want useful answers Some roms i was looking at but haven't used are Paranoid and CyanogenMod 10
Cheers

Hi all
I am new here, and yes I am not a developer, as well as, I am so happy that I have been moved to SGS3 after using iPhone. Android world is amazing. The reason I am posting such thread, its because I want to share my little experience with ROMs for the SGS3.
I used to use the Cyanogenmod 10 the nightlies, with some issues and bugs are there, and I was looking for such ROM which can handle the Daily use without any problem, finally I found this one Resurrection Remix JB v3.1.2, which is the best in my opinion for those who are using the CM10 nightlies until they CM team come out with the stable mode.
it is in this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1815285
I used it, it is stable, battery friendly and smooth, no issues at all.
I am just sharing my experiences, because I was mistaken when I was thinking about CM10 is the best yet, but when I try the RR I found out, the truth.
I would like to thank the management of the forum, and the members as well, and I am so sorry if there is any typos mistakes or such things, because my native language is the Arabic.
I am from Dubai, and I am so happy to be a member here.

Still, the words "best" and "rom" shouldn't be used in the same sentence. "best rom" threads aren't allowed whether you're asking for the specifically or you're stating which the best rom is. It's all a matter of one's own preferences.
Not one of these threads again.

Hope you enjoy Android as much as we all here do. I picked S3 over iPhone 5 and do not regret my decision one bit.
So sorry guys, I wanted to help others. Thats why I used these words.
Again and again, Thank you very much.

Looking around the X10 forum, and trying several roms, I became curious in what you guys think is the fastest JB ROM.
Time to be unbiased for once

Hello guys, I've read a lot the forums but I'd like to receive some support from the more expert people.
I need a rom for my Defy + which has to be stable, with a very good battery saving and fast.
I don't need the newer android versions, GB is fine for me. I used to have an oxygen rom by adam on my Nexus S, something similar would be perfect. Any help? I am thinking about CM 7.2
Thank you in advance for the answers

i specified characteristics, I wasn't asking for something generic. I aspect an objective response for the characteristic I gave, I don't think my 3d is generic...
Regardless you cannot use the word best since comparison of roms with different specific features is irrelevant. For example cm7.2 is the fastest I have tried but I like miui's
GUI. So there is no clear "best"
If you want max speed get cm7.2, otherwise you can try Motorola stock based roms such as ms2 ginger which have fully working 720p video recording.
Battery is more or less same in both. And I think cm7.2 is faster

P.S
For the mods,i now there are a lots of threads like this, but the last is from april, and since then there has been many new roms.
The best rom for you is the latest CyanogenMod rom.. You can find it here..
It gives you all you want and more..
Sorry, but "Best Rom" threads almost always end up in a flaming war as a result of arguing over subjective matters - therefore, this thread is closed.
