In case you haven't seen it. In short, our phone has nads of steel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuq4eocS_GY
Wow ! great!
Impressive, but I hope Samsung didnt cut corners with the US variants.
I love the side-promo of vaping...

Great video poor S3 ... but wow it did great!

Nice! No wonder case manufacturers are willing to show videos of them dropping the S3 in their cases! Nothing is going to happen! haha
The only issue I had with the video is she didn't do a face down/screen down drop test, but still very impressive.
Cool video. Thanks for sharing. It seems to me that dropping phones on concrete is what breaks them.

If it was face down it still wouldn't have broken..it's already been driven over by a car and survived..

been using cig 2.0 for 6 months myself. Congrats!!
It's official, TMobile has cut the galaxy note out. Why? Probably has to do with the fact that the note 2 is around the corner. And I waited all this time for the note to come out on TMobile! Late to the party note, thanks. Although I did get a note and I love it for it's huge display and stylus, there is nothing else impressive about this phone. All I can do now is wait for the note 2, will be announced thus month on the 29th, and enjoy the last few breaths this note has left,in it.

Well, besides the brick-bug which can easily be avoided, what is there to dislike? I mean, other than the quad-core behemoths, the Note is still a very powerful device and the large screen plus S Pen just add to its capabilities. If you don't find a use for the S Pen, or larger screen, then why not just get an Galaxy S3 or HTC One X rather than wait for the Note 2?

IM guessing that's directed at me since you did quote me. X) I actually traded my have for the TMobile note last week. I love the big screen and the stylus, but the note could have definitely used more ram. Most of the time at Any given usage the note is occupying more than %85 of ram and it's clearly obvious. I love the note, just wish the size matched it's internal hardware specs. Note 2 is ganna rock.
Sent from my SGH-T879 using xda app-developers app
Speaking about RAM, yes I agree Note has bare minimum available to run smoothly. When I run Tasker with sweet sounding Loquendo TTS engine announcing vital info, things start to load afresh when apps are switched.

Anyways..the phone itself was very nice looking. I love the weight. This phone has some good weight to it because of the aluminum body. The camera was pretty damn amazing and the HTC Zoe feature was pretty cool.
Anyone else get their hands on it yet?

Can i ask how u got your hands on one in the US ? Not that I don't believe u ..I'd just love the opportunity lol
Was it a 32 or 64 gb model?
Any carrier branding? If so, where?
Yes please, us U.S. people would love to check it out haha.

I got to play with it today as well, the display is amazing! Don’t like that their isn’t a removable SD slot... You cant remove the ZOE, but you can change the home page.
It looks like a solid phone and definitely a better upgrade to the htc onex :good:

Sorry, I meant blinkfeed
I got to play with it as well. This phone is pretty sick. The camera is pretty awesome. The zoe feature sold me. You can basically create a movie with it. Lol. The phone is smooth and very responsive. The blink feed is nice as well. The front facing camera is best I've ever seen. It has the capability to be used as a tv remote. The aluminum body felt great and not cheap in the hands. I have the note 2 and think I will buy this phone as well. The list of new features goes on and on. If they can get proper advertising, this phone will be a great success for htc.

Funny I have had the phone for 2 weeks and really enjoyed her review good find
I've watched her review of Galaxy Note 2 before i bought it. Honestly - i like her style very much. She focuses on the device, and not on spec/brand wars or what's "best" or "outdated". Some people forgot that not the absolutely best on the market doesn't mean bad and worthless.
Is the loudspeaker really that bad???
I really hope not.

Hey Guys,
This is my video comparison of the HTC One against the Galaxy S4
Hope it helps!
Leave a comment and let me know what you think
Ash
I stopped watching when the review said the S4 has a brighter screen...that is a load of crap I have seen these phones side by side the S 4 is nowhere near the same brightness..every review has said the opposite sorry #fail you must have had it turned down by accident cause its way brighter man
Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using xda app-developers app
He also said the S4 is louder. But the ONE is clearer. Listen man I tried. I had to stop. So Manu things are just wrong. Thanks for your effort. But for me this was not a informing video. Thanks.

Just to the above comments:
It may not be wrong if OP said the S4 is brighter because the One uses different display panels, and OP may have gotten one that is calibrated not as bright.
As for the sound, I have also read that the One speaker is clear, not not much louder.... again, I don't really care if it's loud or not because being clearer is much more important.
No doubt, I'm loving my One

Could you please check which screen you own? Because there is a screen made by Samsung (C1) which is not as bright as the average HTC One Screen (C2) or the Sharp one.
HTC ones do vary. Not sure why you are making the connection C1=Samsung and C2=Sharp however. Can you cite a reference for this?

u see auto brightness is not checked right? you think I turned auto brightness on after to shoot the remaining pics? Why would I do that? I will post comparisons once I get it bro, I really want the one to do well, I like samsung and I am biased towards touchwiz but I am sick of samsungs complacency... the one doing better will be just the rude awakening that samsung needs... do you know there is a camera/phone hybrid coming out thats gonna be called the galaxy s4 zoom? nope not the galaxy camera zoom but the galaxy s4 zoom and with a qhd screen...grr!
my biggest issue with htc was battery life... thats improved a lot with the one and each day my love for touchwiz grows a little lesser and i like my one a little more
Clearly, the HTC One M7 is far better than S4

I never said u lied, you dont own both devices, I do, Ive checked them out and forget me, maybe am wrong, gsmarena seems to agree...just because I like touchwiz more than I like sense doesnt mean am a fanboy or am not objective... I did point out all flaws of touchwiz, call some gestures a gimmick, criticize samsung for a whole line of galaxy crap and point out the lag whatd i say about the one? the screen's not as bright... yup i seem to have a faulty device... its not as loud... and then u call me a sammy fanboy? phew!
