Hi guys,
now, 1st of all, this thread was inspired by lucastan96, so THANKS to lucastan96 for inspiring me with his Index.
So, because i can only have 1000 characters in my signature, and i would like to put a lot more, i guess i thought doing what lucastan96 was an awesome idea
So, here goes.......
I love contributing to XDA, I love fighting troll's ( ). I hate the keyboard I have on my phone because its so small, but when i'm out of my home, i tend to post on xda alot on my phone, and IMO, that just shows how much i love the forum

I agree with you but NIMBAH doenst have to "attack" wilbso for having paypal account.....as i said before:
Wilbso is giving people an option to donate to him and that doenst mean that someone will but its OPTION

@NIMBAH The reason i ask people to donate is because as many peopl eknow, i am currently developing 2 ROMs right now, and i need a more powerful PC with Ubuntu running on it for better development.
But as 8cpaiw said, it is only an option i added, And if you wish not to donate then thats cool

Hi mate. I saw you are trying to make a list of stuck firmwares for the s3, have you seen my site androidfirmwares.net ? If you want to, i can make you an admin so u can use the site to host the files. Intratech is already doing what you want to. So maybe you should mail him and have a chat with him. He's the one with the thread that is sticky. He also made some guides on how to flash for new people. Its not to shoot your idea down but you not the first to do this. Anyway if you like ill host all the files so people dont have to use hotfile.

I thought faryaab had a thread on the latest firmwares. Plus I know there is guide on here to get all firmwares.
So I think it would have been best to your info to those other threads.
Coming from the tf201 forums on xda, I love how the moderators here on the s3 forums keep it nice and clean.
Maybe before this turns into a battle, people should pm or consult the mods for proper thread additions.

You show arrogance as well as jealousy. How would you know what ROMs I make, just pop over to the forum and they will confirm for you whether I made ROMS for the device or not.

[MULTi-USER] [ANDROID 4.2.x] [NEED TESTERS]

As the title says i need testers for enabling multi-users support for 4.2.x Roms. I can't test on my note 1 because i don't have it now. . I gave it for a note 2. In this mod i am not adding any crazy mods so it will not harm your device or brick . the worst case scenario is Force-Closes and you can revert back by flashing any rom out there.

Multi-user is a feature in Android 4.2.1, but disabled for phones. Why make a "mod" that enables it? Why would you want to make something as personal as a cellphone not so personal anymore?

i have 2 notes (black and white) and forget about curserom i made them without knowledge now i am saying this with knowledge . my onw work is even featured on xda portal.
if u want to see this feature in your note then say me this is no joke. this will work

first of all .you don't have credibility .your curse rom was a disaster so people are gonna be cautious in trying out your stuff never mind beta testing.

I think you should stop looking for beta testers.mod your own phone first then post the video here that will get others interested in your stuff.

if i get a beta tester . i promise i will get multi-user on note 1 .dont be cautious with this because the worst case scenario here is Force-Closes .
if one brave-soul is out there brave enough to test this mod it will be awesome
think about getting a new functionality - multi-user on our note 4.2.1
i was a big fail but not now , my work has been featured on xda portal even.
why people profile a person on the basis of past
as said before if i get a beta-tester i promise to get this mod working

Test on your dad's phone.. First you don't have, then you have 2.. And this its a terrible idea.. It's just stupid even for tablets because I wouldn't share my tab or phone with anyone.. Not even my wife.. She has her own devices.. Guess your dad doesn't want to let you try on his.. Why should we?

Are you really camparing this to the Exynos security hole find? That is developing and surely took a lot of time to find and a lot of reverse engineering.

That might be true, as you can read it in my first post I've already assumed that most probably everyone knows about this easter egg. But it's something new for me and I've shared for that 1 pct or whoever be interested. I'm kinda new on Android (was an ex-iOS user) and this was just another nothing-to-say-just-pass-by type of thread.
I've replied in my previous post against the one who was repeating the XDA-"DEVELOPERS" cliché. Nobody is silly here I guess, we can read the domain name with contains either.
Anyway, I don't really intended to turn a simple thread into a stupid discussion case.

Well I was on your side & was saying maybe 99% of people didnt know about it.
But maybe I didnt make that obvious... never mind.

Hey guys!
I wear a Beltone hearing aid and they recently came out for an app that let's my hearing aid connect with a Galaxy S5 so I can control the volume level and various other things. I do not have a S5 and they have told us it could be awhile until it's available for other devices.
I know it's a long shot, but I was hoping someone could download the "Beltone HearPlus" app and make a titanium backup so I can try installing it on my Nexus. It's worth noting that there are TWO "Beltone" hearing aid apps and only one of them is what i'm looking for.
There is the "Beltone Smart Remote" app and that is NOT the one I need. That app is available for any device to download. The one i'm looking for is specifically the "Beltone HearPlus" app.
If anyone is willing to help me with this I would happily PayPal you $10 for your time whether it works or not.

From my reserch the app that you are trying to find is for the iPhone only as of now. They did release the news that it will be coming to android bit not until February of 2015. Maybe you're thinking of some built in functionality with the s5?

They've actually said on their blog that the HearPlus app is available on the GS5:

There already is an app in play store, called Beltone SmartRemote, but it's not the same app.
I'm guessing either they're releaseing HearPlus in the coming days and jumped the gun on publishing the news.
Or HearPlus for S5 really is out, but only in the Samsung/Galaxy appstore and/or only in the US.

1 On your S5 search for Beltone or HearPlus in Play store and in Samsung Apps / Galaxy Apps

It says its not available until February 2015 for download on the playstore. I tried looking around.... goo . gl / XIE41Y <-- Try that if its unavailble to you.

What is the point of you repeating what others have said?
It's already been said, you don't need to waste time and effort on repeating it.
Especially when it's incorrect, as far as the february release myth goes.
Beltone has already said on their official blog that HearPlus is out now on the S5.
Not SmartRemote which is old news and I've also just posted a link to the playstore, there's no need for an apk.

What's your point? I got that link for the app off the beltone site where the announcement was made. Figured I would toss it up if its something he's unable to get from his local. But next time I'll ignore the post because I might get a snarky comment from some douche in sweden.... I searched the American Galaxy app store BTW and came up with the same result. The app I listed.

First you repeat a false statement, then you post an apk which is available for everyone and has already been linked to.
Then you claim you "tried" "looking around". If you really did try looking around (or reading literally the post above yours) then you'd refrain from making your useless posts (you have added zero to this thread) or post something that's actually useful.

Doesn't make me any less right. And I did actually give all the info there is, correct and official info. Hi I am also trying to get the apk. I am a beltone dispenser and have been trying to get this for android I have done some playing around with the aids and have gotten them to pair to my note 4 but when I go to the link above it says it's not compatible with my device I think the people could probly fix this before beltone at least for the rest of us samsung uses. I would be willing to play around and see if we can get it to work
