Hi guys i recently just bought a zte blade for my son whos 2 only got it for kids apps. And itryed rooting it an now it just boots in.clockwork mod thats it cant get phone to load at all can somone please help me

As long as it boots into cwm its all good. Download a stock rom or a custom rom from the blade android development forum and flash it from cwn

Put a rom on ur sdcard and then select install zip from SD card ----> choose zip manually

You want install APKs? Just find "unknown sources" (I dont know how its called in english settings so sorry if it is called differently ) in your settings and allow them, than you can install apks.

Reboot and install gapps again. Then when ur phone starts, you'll automatically be prompted to add a Google account

I got it done now guys thanks just installed a dif version of gapps an it work right away. Its only for my 2 year old son lol stop him breaking the gfs sensation lol

On the Motorola boot image screen it will say unlocked in the top left hand corner. If not unlocked, I got an easy way for you to unlock and root your phone. Just post again and I will help ya.

Now you need a recovery to flash ROMS. Which recovery do you have already? A custom or stock phone?

hi i am having the samek problem. I rooted my phone first than unlocked boot loader. I know this because when I start my phone it says unlocked on the top left hand Conner of my phone. than I tried to get ROM racer CWM could not find it. I googled and founds system recovery something. I used that to load my ROM. now my super user does not load. help

Easiest way is to go into the market and download "ROM Manager" by ClockworkMod. In that program pick the first option to flash clockwork mod. Put the ROM on your internal SD card then boot into recovery. Perform your wipes and then install the .zip from sd card.

You may not be rooted. Do you have superuser in your app list? Does ROM manager ask for root privileges? Did you grant them?

I then installed both TitaniumB & CWM to test it phone was rooted ok & all currently seems good..

the end goal being to install my custom roms (eg Alien or CM7)
As a NOOB i do have a couple of querys BEFORE I enter the path to enlightenment. I really appreciate some
advice..
1. Is there a guide (OR ADVICE FROM ANY PRO OUT THERE) that can tell me how to backup my current stock T-
Mobile installation ?
2. I am assuming I can jump straight to "Unlock your Bootloader" correct or not ?
3. If I CAN jump straight to "Unlock your Bootloader" should I miss anything out based on the fact I did not use Gingerbreak to root my atrix ?
4.Do I need to do a network unlock BEFORE starting any of the above ?
5.Why on step 10 does it say "10. Load up the SBF file – IHOP_Bell.sbf"
but the actual file inside the RAR is called "intl-fix-try1.sbf" ??? Worry or not ??
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO DO prior to following this guide ?

Ok I just got a new vibrant from tmo since mine gave out a few days ago. Its fresh out the box and im trying to get the CW rom manager app back so I can proceed to flash ICS passion on this bad boy,but the free version is not in tge market, the only one I can find is tge paid "key" version which I have purchased but cant use without the free one.can someone send me the .apk or explain why it isnt in the market pretty please?

Just pm'd you with advice and the reason they pulled it from the market is cuz eclair 2.1 is not supported anymore. I used to use odin to go back to stock 2.1 and then i had a Overstock kernel that I used though odin and it would give me cmw .The only thing is that u need to dl to ypur phone the rom u want first,odin overstock kernel .tar (i think)

No u have internal and external sds.unless u have a Vib 4g which only has external. Internal is where u have all ur files e.g. dcim, android ,data,download, etc.paste it onto that so u have a file called update.zip along with all those before mentioned files

Now dl cm7 build #182 completely on ur phone after that seach for" Overstock kernel zip"preferably on xda and dl that yhen open k.f. app and flash kernel,wait until it completes the ext4 partition (like 5 min) ,pull battery go into recovery which should be now green letters and install cm7
And then once I have cm7 I should be able to find cw manager on market... Wise sir,good workaround.

Make sure you're rooted.Yes.After you flash cm7 then you're good to flash sum ICS goodness . Use one cosmic fyi..Just be prepared if something goes wrong on K.F.(Odin)
MAKE SURE u have a 3g not a 4g Vibrant cuz T-Mobile has discontinued the 3g.Is the back of the phone black or grey?
Ok yes I rooted using an old version of the ryan za oclf app that still has tge root option, has always worked on previous phones and yeah its a 3g the back is black.

ICS CM9 still in early beta if not alpha! so let the devs do their work - if the first RCs are out you can start scream and bug around.
It works fine for me. Is it telling you "app isn't installed" or anything like that? Or is it giving you an error saying something about USB mounting or SD card access? If you tell me what's up, I can probably help~

to temp solve, open es explorer, root explorer and mount the "/" folder to RW
once you do that, close the app, go to market and down the xda prem app...
it should be able to download now

Xda installs directly to SD card, so u might have an issue with sdcard storage on the 0202 build, try the latest? Think its 0207

You could use adb to push the files , altrough you would have to "semi root"

@xdafoundingmember, I downloaded and tried to sign the apk... However when I tried pushing, it said incosistent certficates.. Since this is a system app, what type of certificates do you need? I've tried the auto but fail fail... grrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

Ok I'm going to root but not install custom recovery.. I know you can move the files into system folder using root explorer but where do I move all of the files (apks, libs etc)??

You push apk's into system/app and libs into system/lib but you have to find a way to clear dalvik cache and cache so that when you reboot android system will read all apps and create. dex files for them to work and without custom recovery I don't know if any other app would do without any problems.

Hello , I just baught myself a LG G2 ( D802 ) International/european phone that is . Anyways, First thing i did was rooting it... But consider i want kitkat when it comes as OTA i would like to know how to delete / disable root while getting it ... Cause i doubt i can install the / download update while im on root ?? Well it's pretty simple to get recovery you can download freegee then just install one of choice and then place rom in sd card reboot to recovery and and flash just follow the steps

The phones internal storage is the ad card in other words and the Korean version actually supports external ad cards anyways those options are the different recoveries and I personally use twrp
