Hi, in a slight panic here. All I wanted to do was flash another newer ROM. I went into Recovery mode and told it to disable the voodoo lagfix and system lagfix. Rebooted then all the Galaxy S I9000 does now is vibrate once then about 10 seconds later vibrate 3 times in quick sucession. That repeats forever.
I can get back into recovery mode. I tried rebooting with the all lagfixes enabled again. I got the voice voodoo converting or something she said, but I still have the boot loop. So then I tried wiping the caches, and factory reset/wipe. Reboot, still the vibrating boot loop.
What should I do next?? , I hope someone can help.
Should I try flashing with Odin? (I was on Darkys 8)
Still on Darky v8?
It's time to change rom, Voodoo lagfix is outdated.
Do you have a backup of everything? Do it everytime you change something!
Anyway, flash a ROM with Odin.
The latest leaked is JW5.
Hi thanks, I have got the phone back by flashing with Odin Darky 10.4.2.
What do you recommend I go to next, an ICS one?
Yes, flash CyanogenMod 9. It's ICS and it's rally fast and stable! Follow carefully the instructions in the CM9 thread e you will be ok!

nandroid.. nothing seems to get my phone to boot up. help me please !!
What happened prior to cause this scenario? Any custom roms or kernels etc...
I have the same problem,
it happend after a couple of rom flashes. i think the reason is in voodoo kernal. Tried to flash it with odin and then remove, but no luck...
it exchanged the master boot record on the device so it wont boot properly.
Tried to change mbr to original one with adb shell, but it says "device not found"
What am I doing wrong?
HELP US PLEASE!!!!
ive updated to dj05, flashed voodoo 5, then i was flashing the boot animation through
rom manager. for some reason it got stuck in the process saying 'finding zip file'.. so i
pulled out the battery.. once i reboot it, i knew something was wrong with the phone
at this point. it keeps getting me to the voodoo lagfix recovery which is all red color, i went to irc and got help getting rid of voodoo so its back to stock recovery and pushed in stock files through odin. but still when i turn on the phone, after samsung logo it keeps getting me to the stock recovery screen instead of booting the system..
You are selecting PDA within odin correct? Have you followed this procedure? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=782204&highlight=odin
Yes i did everything.. i uninstalled voodoo by flashing novoodoo 1129 .. this is how the stock recovery came back from the voodoo lagfix recovery. is something wrong in the process..? do you think

This should help you. I fixed practically the same problem with this.
It's a magic wand, that'll take you back in time when you had your virgin unrooted fascinate
So I was going to try the new Sense ROM for my I9000 and this is what happened:
I flashed the Speedmod kernel via ODIN, got into recovery - then flashed efs-backup.
After that I flashed the CM7 kernel via ODIN, did a system, cache and data format and installed the rom itself.
Now every time I turn on the phone, it gets into recovery... same happens if i press reboot system now in clockworkmod recovery
Is there still hope for me? All your help is appreciated!
this has happened to me too.
what happens is when you format system you actually format the OS on the phone. meaning that the only thing installed on the phone is the kernel.
resulting in a loop of recovery mode.
flash the rom again through recovery and see where that takes you.
if problem still persists. start whole process again

Yeah, but I did that before I flashed the ROM... Tried it again, still the same thing. (And I tried the whole thing from the beginning over and over again)
have you flashed back to froyo with 3 files and pit ?
what rom was you on before this happened, as it could be down to gingerbread bootloaders
I was on Froyo, Voodoo kernel
well just try 1 last time, make sure the FW comes in all 3 files, use 512 pit and check repartition in odin.
then take the necessary steps to get back to the sense ROM
I have been running AOKP on my Fascinate for a while now, but something wierd is going on with the device. After about a week of running AOKP (I tried the Hacksung ICS builds as well), the Fascinate begins to bootloop, so I have to go through and ODIN (cannot wipe and reflash because it continues to bootloop after wipe and reflash) then flash AOKP again. The process repeats itself after roughly a week of use.
I went back and Odin'ed to 2.3.5, but ever since then, I have been unable to install a working recovery on my device. I can flash the recovery fine (Voodoo, and CWM fixed for CM7), but when it boots up, and I try to flash a file, the screen goes black for a minute, then goes back to the recovery menu, like it is rebooting recovery. I've tried Heimdall and Odin.
Anyone got any tips? Am I just forgetting something?

in odin did you use the atlas.pit repartition file when you flashed back to stock?
if not then try that. also, which CWM are you trying to flash?
I know my fassy had problems with certain versions, but a 2.5.x version always worked for me no matter what happened to my phone.
This guide always worked for me.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1238070
A friend of mine asked me to upgrade his Tab P6800 from stock HC to JB. I tried to root, flash CWM 6.0.1.1, and flash several JB roms but 3g is not working in all roms. I tried to go back to stock ICS. I got firmware, flashing it using odin + download mode and after several tries the flashing runs and finishes. But there comes a new problem, the reboot stucks at samsung logo. I tried re-flash using odin but the result are just the same. Now I'm really really frustrated and I'd like to get back to Honeycomb safely. Please give me some suggestion!!!!

i also experience that same issue when downgrading from JB to HC.
during ODIN flash of honeycomb firmware - it will automatically RESET and after a while it will go into bootloop.
just press Power+Volume UP to force it into recovery mode, then do a Wipe Data/Factory Reset and Wipe Cache
then Reboot system, wait for a while and it will be fine
note that you must NOT reset using STOCK ICS recovery to avoid frying your EMMMC

Thanks for the advice man. I finally got some workaround. I try to odin CWM 6.0.1.1 and then reboot recovery. Once in CWM 6.0.1.1, I flash JB roms (Paranoid Android 2.50) and this time the 3g works. Since it already works quite smoothly and there hasn't been any problem, I think I'll just stay here.
Well as you found the solution I'll close this thread, post in the relevant thread next time.
My N900 got bricked and it cannot get pass the Samsung's boot logo (the static one, not the animation one).
- I had been using rom cook alba19986's UltraLite XXUENI1 on my rooted Note 3 before, all things work perfectly.
- Then I flash kernel Halaszk v0.20 beta, but Synapse didn't work ("No UCI support"), so I flash kernel Halaszk v0.17 in recovery mode. And that's it, the problem occurred.
- Then I got stuck in bootscreen, it went to "Samsung Galaxy Note 3" boot logo and stopped there, I waited but nothing was gonna happen.
- I came back to Recovery Mode, did a full wipe/factory reset, wiped cache, davik cache. But it's no uses.
- I freaked out, so I re-flash Dr.Ketan's K14 rom, TR-ROM T22, alba19986's rom (Full wipe) successfully, but the bootloop happened: the phone continuously rebooted nonstop.
- I tried to flash stock kernel, stock modem in Dr.Ketan's rom (by his MultiTools), but it didn't help.
- Then I downloaded Note 3's stock roms (from SamMobile), which are N900XXUDND1 (contains 4 files inside) and N900XXUDNC1 (5 files inside, one of them is PIT file), and went to Download Mode, flash them via Odin PC v3.10. There was no fail. But the bootloop doesn't go away, even though I did a wipe data/cache (now it returns to Samsung's stock recovery mode)
Please tell me if there's anything that could help me get out of this situation.
I did read the thread here, and here, but my situation might be a bit harder.
Thank you.
Take your battery out, then try and reenter recovery and then wipe, factory reset etc. Boot up and see. Give it a few mins to actuality load up. If it boot loops again, reflash stock and then you should be OK.

Thank you, @radicalisto.
Like I said, I tried to re-flash few stock roms which are NC1, ND1, NG1 but it didn't help. I'm still be able to enter Download Mode and Recovery Mode, but no matter it's a stock rom or custom rom, it cannot pass the bootloop. I'm gonna try the newer stock rom NI1, but I cannot download it from Sammobile
SOLVED by UPBOX
I have my phone upboxed Didn't know exactly the problem, but I assume that Halaszk kernel causes the bootloop.
