How to add more wallpaper to the application ?

How to copy a newly saved personal wallpaper image?
When I make my own 'artwork' simple, static wallpaper, where can I access and copy for further useage what I saved?
I take a picture from the gallery, select an image detail using the orange frame tool and use the save command to save my 'artwork' as my new, personal wallpaper.
Where is my new personal wallpaper stored? Into which folder does the Save command save the image detail which I selected with the orange frame?
How can I make a backup copy to have it ready for later restore or for further optimising?
Is there an app which will help me to access my 'artwork'?

Menu Icons 4 all ROMS

Hi guys.. i am very bored of the standard custom icons shown into Start-> Programs... so tonight i have done a cab which installs a "minimum.dll" file, which is an icon library, and who make follow dirs into the menu:
Applications
Games
Internet
Multimedia
Phone
System
Utility
Mobile Office
Network
In every dir there is an icon. file which has a string inside:
#\Windows\minimum.dll,-4
By changing the number, you can assign a different icon to the folder you're in.
If some rom cooker wants its custom set of icons.. pm me.. HERE is a good archive of icons
Attached the CAB, no need to reboot, & image of avaiable icons in Minimum icon set and its relative code.
SEE ALSO POST n°5
Nice work dear. Applause for it..
I think I will try to Cook my own rom using this. Thank will let you know how it works.
For Italian friends who asked for... tonight i'll post 3 Icons pack in cab format, note that the one posted is in english (..just rename folders' name in "programmi" directory
be patient
Ok guys, i have no time to make the cabs because i'm very busy at this time, however it's VERY SIMPLE.
All is explained in the first post (concerning the icon.lnk file inside the folder to skin).
In each zip there is the dll, to copy in \windows, and an image which describes the icon number.
If someone provide me some good icons, i'll pack them into a dll file.
To see the name of iconpack's image, wait with the mouse over and erad the filename.jpg
Thanks a lot mate
Youre the man!
I tried..
God job, thanks for information & sharing
hi there. Very good job but i can't understand how to install them
Lovely
I like this a lot!!
It is VGA icons? Or QVGA?
both resolutions
Great, Thanks a lot.
How do I create my own .dll? I have a lot of icons but no instruction to create a .dll of them.
If there a chance to pimp the folder background from white to some other colour or picture?

Hi SkizZO, How do I create my own .dll?
Thank you.
You have to pack 16x16,32x32, 64x64 images to an .ico file, or edit an .ico file deleting unwanted resolutions...
Then group all icons, numbered & ordered in an "Icon library"
I've used ArtIcons Pro to do this. The icon library has the .icl extension.
Now you have to compile it into a dll (I have used GConvert)
Remember that WM supports 256 colors icons, so if you use more colors, is wasted space.
PS: Post your icons here!!!
any chance i could use some folders with the same style as the ones already on my phone? ie the yellow games folder etc...

[SOLVED] How to iFonz Backup

Hello, i want to update my pda and i need to do a iFonz backup settings. I think that by copying the iFonz folder is enough but do not know if there are elements in the register for copying too.
Someone can help me please?
Edit: Solved thanks to jayjay8585 (View Post 4)
Edit 2: On main iFonz Thread have a subseccion with some "how to", include my ask
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=369241
the best option is to copy the entire program file into the same place on you new device and then you can create shortcuts from there and put a shortcut in the start menu that what id do
But in the same folder of the program is the configuration file? Thanks
oh go to ifonz (on Ur current device and hold down the battery and go to themes/save save the theme in a place youll remember, a notification will come up saying for example
saved my document/"savename".ifonz
then take that with you to ur new device then hold the battery amd then settings load and then open ur saved file
but i dont kno if the theme setting save the pictures. so just to be sure make a path then same as your current setup to the pictures path
ie if ur wallpaper is saved in a storage card under
files/media/wallpaper/portrait/blahblah.jpg
then youll have to make the exact same location on the new phone
ohhh my god a hidden menu!!!! i dont know there was this menu!!!!!!!
thanks very much!!
its ok. but remember if you load a theme and some items are missingt it mite be because the paths are different than the used to be
and next time read through the post that ssjtrunks wrote it contains all the info you need
and edit you top post title to include
(solved) before the main title
Why not use a backup program......
because ifonz has a theme backup system you can save and load themes
Maybe I am doing something wrong. When I follow these steps,
" oh go to ifonz (on Ur current device and hold down the battery and go to themes/save save the theme in a place youll remember, a notification will come up saying for example saved my document/"savename".ifonz"
I never get the notification and it does not save. I am using the Touch Pro from sprint. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

[Q] Default TF3D wallpaper folder

Hi,
does anyone know how to change the default TF3D wallpaper folder or at least, how to create a shortcut in this folder that link my pics folder in Memory Card ?
i had looked for many post but found nothing ...
if someone know how to do that, he will be my god
Thank in advance.
Someone can help ?
I don't understand why you'd need it??
My pics are in my memory card and each time i want to change the wallpaper i have to browse to this folder ...
If i could change the default folder to my folder in memory card, it will more easy and faster.
Anyone got any ideas on this? I can understand the requirement.
I would just make a standard folder shortcut from the SD card to My Pictures.
I got the same problem and what I did was make a "\Storage card\DCIM\Wallpaper" folder. Put all my wallpapers there and when in TF3D I go to settings->wallpaper, I only need to change to storage card from the dropdown menu, and then I got listed all my folders with my pictures.I Just click on "wallpapers" and choose one

Edit TF3D theme

Hi first of all I wanna say that this site is very nice!
There are lots of nice themes here, but I would like to know how to edit the TF3D theme myself.
What software do you need for that? Thanks.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=464984
and a PNG editor, (paint works but you won't get transparencies), if you have photoshop all power to you, a good free one is Gimp.
use mode 9 to convert QTC1 files into .PNG. then use an image editor to change the .PNG to look like whatever you want.
Use mode 9 to convert back to a QTC1 file and then drag it to your Windows folder (on your device). Cycle TF3D off and then on again (Settings > Today > items > TF3D)
And you should see your theme there
Good luck on it mate

I don't know how to get into the windows directory on the phone with m9editor.
When i use activesync, i can't get into the directory; when I click on 'my device' on 'this computer', i can't explore the phone, I just see nothing there. And when I use Diskdrive, I can only look into the internal storage.
So I just tried to copy it to my computer, I thought I would be able to copy them back into the windows directory of my phone. But the quality of the copied files is worse I think, when I open them wit photoshop I get a very pixelated image How do I load that files using m9editor?

The files are most likely hidden, you will have to change the properties of the file or change the settings on your pc to see hidden files

even if they become unhidden, i dont think you can switch them out on your device because the files are cooked into the ROM, therefore undeleteable...if thats a word lol
Could also find a cab for the dialer your using and pull the files from the cab edit them the way you want and then put them back in the cab and install
Dialer BMP
Here is my dialer bmp files from sprint cdma Rhodium.
Just edit, put in windows reset phone
Thanks for the info.
Well I made my new dialer and i like the looks of it but can anyone point me in the direction of the background file or any other file that are associated with the overall screen when you press the phone? I hate the white background. Thanks for your help.
