Hi, i have installed sbf 2.3.6 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1375701 on a regular defy and when i power on the phone keeps in M logo... What can i do? thanks

[ROM][u880PRO] MIUI Multilingual 1.12.16

Hi I'm new at this, sorry if this is not the right place where post.
Try translating the MIUI ROM 1.12.16 for Huawei IDEOS X5 PRO to Spanish.
Apk compiled but not well so I decided to use the ROM files as follows:

And I got multilingual Ideos X5 Pro:

This rom is multilingual.
I do not know which is the genolokar's rom.

There is little info in the first post. What exactly have you done with this rom? Is it a new build or just language's added. If you update the first post with a little more info (A change-log or alike would be nice) i will move to the development section.

Cant sign in to google account
Sorry if i post in the wrong place.
I have tried MIUI rom on 8800 and all worked well. The only problem is that every time i try to sign in to my google acount to set-up contact and market, i get the following message :
Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server.
I have tried over wifi and data connection. The browser works fine, so there is a connection. I have done all the factorry reset, cache reset, reinstall...still the same message.
Any help would be wealcome.

U cant, U8800-51 is more like U8800pro than U8800, U8800 has different wifi,bt chip, and U8800pro only has different proc.

You are spanish language native? i've made a guide to upgrade unofficially, and (of course) with some bugs, u8800-51 to cyanogenmod 7.1 (Gingerbread 2.3.7)

So, i upgrade with the pro version official?

U can flash genokolar's cyanogenmod port, but its facing some random reboots (working on it)

Put the dload folder on sd card and press vol+, vol- and power the downgrade starts automatically. If pink screen appears, it is wrong

there's no need for that, just backup the phone with cwm

I can not rooting the device, the following message appears: "Following the device does not have drivers installed" "IDEOS
USB/VID_12D1 & PID_1038 & MI_01 "what should I do?

That's because you have not update the drivers.
You must to go to control panel, then click into device manager and there you check the IDEOS device, right click and click on update, then search manually (Mobile Partner > drivers > select adb_driver) and that's it.
sewa2k I read your "how to" thread on mobilecloseup.com and I have few questions to you:
1. the reboot bug could be fixed?
2. is there any mod more "stable" for the u8800-51 which can supports 2.3?

[Q] A500 Dock and Jelly Bean

Hi, I just installed the "Jelly-Bean_4.1.2_CM10-FLEX_v6supercharged_Aroma(22-Nov-2012)" ROM.
Works great, just one thing isn't working for me, the docking station isn't recognized. With the old ROM it worked fine
(Lightspeed 4.8).
Can anyone please tell me if there is an App that can be installed to make the Dock work again?

Strange I have the opposite behavior. It worked on "Jelly-Bean_4.1.2_CM10-FLEX_v6supercharged_Aroma(22-Nov-2012)" ROM (but only charging, no sound) and nothing (not even charging) on Lightspeed 4.8.
Would you be so kind and let me know if some solution appears?

Hello. I have a friend that has an Orange store and he gave me 2 Huawei Ascend G7 but both have the soft in test mode. Is there anny way I can install normal ROMs on them ? Ty for your help !
