SiriusXM App, Working! - Kindle Fire General

I know, I've posted this in the App section as well, but since I've seen this requested frequently here as well, I'd like to share the link for a fully functional SiriusXM satellite radio app (version 2.0). I initially downloaded it for my Motorola Xoom, but thought, what the hell, and installed it on my Kindle Fire as well. Guess what: it works perfectly!
Here's the link:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/66164997/com.sirius-2.apk
Have fun!

I got excited cause I'm one who was definitely wanting this but it doesn't work for me. I'm on hashcodes ICS rom.

Thank you! I'm using a stock Kindle Fire (6.3.1) and this works perfectly. I can't thank you enough.

I'm on reloaded rom 1.2h with kernel 8. The SiriusXM app in Google Play works for me.

Thank You!

Sirius App
Please resend the link since this one leads to a broken dropbox link.

Tiger Arcade(MAME) upgrade to v2.0.0 to support save(load)

We remembered that v1.4.3 with buggy save/load features and disappear soon.
The v2.0.0 does support save/load almost perfectly. There are no ad any more and the author add one game list link in HELP and every one can open the page on your PC and download those games.
The pity is that the load is only for buy version and it only support alipay so far.
I buy it , not a big deal and I think it is valued if you want to play LONG games.
<updates>
Where are tigers can install Tiger Arcade, I just tried. The current version is v2.0.2 and it looks that it supports paypal now. I tried alipay and Neogeo and CPS2 games work perfectly for save/load, but CPS1 looks like still has sound issue ,especially after loading states.
Is a new version out? I checked and cannot find it.
I haven't found it anymore.

Wasnt there an app needed to get these now? "where are tigers" or something like that
edit: I just reinstalled Where Are Tigers and the v2.0 is not on there
Hi,
Where can we get v2 from?
Thanks
Force closes on Honeycomb on my 3.2 Transformer now
Checked on where are tigers app and its just the same version, as far as I can see there is no new version out.
Same, app still has version 1.4.4.
TigerKing announced savestates were coming, but nothing about 2.0.0 on his Twitter either.
Link us up OP.
EDIT: This it? http://www.zhangku.com/game/other/9644.html
Does that work? I haven't had a chance to check it if anyone can have a try.
I dont have a xperia but thx you for the hint. Load/save are working after i paid on paypal.
you can download 2.0.3 using where are tigers, as the tool isn't updated, you have to uninstall before and it will be the last version.
It works on Htc Desire Hd, and totally crash on honeycomb
Yeah, the "where are tigers" app lists the old version of Tiger Arcade, but when you download it, it's actually the new version with save states.
http://apps.tigerplay.net/
It's effectively the new version but not free if you want to use load states. I've payed with my paypal account but it's say that it's not synch with server and the paiment don't work. Anyone have tried to buy it and have the same problem?

Problem solved. I've send a mail to tigerking, it was a server problem of paypal.

It seems strange that the best use case for these apps (Honeycomb tablets) seems to be the least developed... It seems especially strange that Netflix has the compatibility in place, but won't update the market's compatible apps so the app shows up when searching the market on a tablet.
Maxgo works well from the full site in flash. HBOGo however studders too much in flash to be usable. Like all here, I would appreciate a native app for Android supported on the Xoom. This continues to be a stick upon which Apple fanbois can use to continue beating upon us.

[Info] Netflix now supported in STOCK ROM! (after latest FOTA Update)

I just updated my stock ROM (manually checked), and I'm VERY EXCITED to report that Netflix now works! Thank you ASUS!

I'm pretty pumped about this. I live in Vietnam and pay for a VPN service (StrongVPN). Might be worth your while if you like netflix as much as I do. I'm happy to report netflix works for me now.
Strange, it won't work for me. I still have it installed from when it was briefly available a month or so back, but it still says my device isn't supported, won't stream, won't update, and won't find it in the market to re-download. That's with the FOTA that was just released in the US this morning.
...and keyboard lag is maybe slightly better, but still noticeable.
where did you guys download netflix program? I can not find it on the market.
I too cannot find it in the market...any hints on where you found it?
As for using Netflix from outside the US, I'm in the VI, I've used Hide My Ass VPN to get Netflix and other services that wouldn't let us stream content since we aren't in the US for quite some time with excellent results. I even posted instructions on how to get a Linksys E3000 router to connect to the service so all clients appear to be cominig from the states on my blog at Blendblog.net. Hope this helps!

I wonder if hbo go will work now. Anyone have a current .apk?
This is great!
Just before i left to work this morning, i noticed there was an update notification. Left it running as i headed out. (now wishing i had brought the damn thing..lol)
Yup, a friend/co-worker downloaded the update and his Netflix is now working. Can't want to get home and try mine. This may be the nail in the Galaxy Tab 10.1's coffin... Netflix was the only thing that was keeping me from returning the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and keeping the Transformer.
Confirmed. Working on mine, and looks great. Man, Asus rocks.

I downloaded the firmware update as well and installed Netflix. Worked perfectly. Now the circle is complete!

Asphalt 6 on ICS

I know a lot of people are having issues getting Asphalt 6 to work in ICS, due to the "Unable to play this video" error message, but for those who it does work, what is the version number you are on? And have any of you gotten it to work from a fresh download and install of the game? Just from what I have read most people have only gotten it to work if they have backed up the files and restoreed them using Titanium/ROM Toolbox. I have tried the same myself with no luck, so any input would be helpful.
I'm running Icylicious and haven't had any issues running Asphalt. I just downloaded it from the market and it runs fine.
I actually even rolled back to 3.2.1 to test something, went back to Icy and it still runs like a champ. Hope that helps you out.

So your running the copy from the market? Not the free one from gameloft for having the A500 correct?
That is correct. I got it for $.10 during the gigantic app sale a month or two ago.

HULU for TF101 and Prime

HULU just announced that they now support both the TF101 and the prime. So you can now download the the App directly from Google Play. The Interface is much improved over the converted Xoom version we were lucky to have
Was excited until I installed it and got the message:
Required DRM not supported [93]
Your device does not seem to have support for the required DRM engine.
Please check that you have all the latest updates applied to your device and try again.
I am on AOKP 1.5 (haven't upgraded to 1.6 or 1.7 as it is so stable now).
Edited to fix typo
Trouble with new HULU App
Going back to the modified Xoom apk?
Never worked right for me (previously on Krakd 1.5.2), wouldn't show the list, just a big white area where the shows should be.
I am wondering if it is detecting root and not allowing it. Might have to see if any other tablets are having the same issue (the ones that were added today) and if anyone has resolved it.
Possible that AOKP isn't including that portion due to its very nature.
Read on another thread that it works on rooted stock. Hopefully one of our awesome developers can hack the app like the last one, or find the necessary libs from the stock ROM.
On EOS nightly-14, DRM not supported.. although the set up looks very nice, and just browsing around seems very smooth!

Thanks for the heads up, I had totally given up. Works great, but mine is stock.
Hmmmmmmmmmm
I should have noted, that I'm presently NOT rooted. Lost it on the ICS update, and haven't touched anything waiting for the re-boot cure. HULU app works fantastic!
I'm getting device not supported on lastest ota not rooted. Anyone else getting this?

Yup....still says Transformer TF101 not supported. APK anybody?
Two TFs on ics revolver 1.31, hulu works great on both. This was the only thing I have been waiting for on the TF... I'm a happier Guy now.

wow, must have been one of the lucky ones. running on rooted stock, and everything seems to be going well.
i've actually just started my hulu plus trial today. I'm trying to watch some naruto episodes (don't judge me) and the app doesn't seem to display any subtitiles (it's an anime, in japanese) ... is this just how the app works, or am i missing a setting?
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk
Are we talking about regular Hulu or Hulu Plus? Hulu Plus has been supported all along IIRC. I've been waiting for support for a regular Hulu app.
Post the apk please.

I think the DRM issue has to deal with the adblock that is put in place by the ROM makers. I just switched from Revolver to AOKP and Hulu now no longer works. With Revolver's Spare Parts you can disable adblock. When it was enabled Hulu didn't work, when it was disabled...it did...Now that I am on AOKP adblock comes standard and there is no way to disable it in the settings. While I know enough to follow directions with scripting I don't know how to go about disabling adblock via script on my own, or if it is even possible. I pour over these forums all the time, but never had an opportunity to post anything since all of my would be posts would take place in the developer section. And since there is a 10 post minimum to post there I just continue reading until I find my answer. This situation is to new to have found a workaround for, and I thought I would come out of my shell and post about it. Any help or research into this subject would be fantastically appreciated and I look forward to posting on here time and time again!

I don't think the Ad Block is the primary issue. Revolver is based on the Asus firmware, right? The roms having problems are AOSP based. I'm running Team EOS at the moment (no ad blocking) and I still can't view in the Plus app. I think it has to do with missing libraries that the "supported" tablets have. Hopefully all it takes is someone more knowledgeable than I to pull them out (this is how we can get Polaris to work on AOSP roms).
Now if you go ahead and block ads, this will prevent viewing as well. Just as it does with the cracked version of Hulu Plus (old app).

Heya. Disabling most ad blocks are quite easy. Just open up a terminal using a Terminal Emulator and run the following commands:
su
rm /etc/hosts
echo "127.0.0.1 localhost" >> /etc/hosts
exit
exit
You have to reboot your tablet after doing this (to flush the DNS cache), but ads will be enabled then. If you want to re-enable adblock, I suggest grabbing AdAway from the Google Play Store, which will make enabling/disabling ads easier in the future.

Yeah I think you are correct, I thought about that after I posted it. That makes more sense than just adblocking.
Does anyone know where this required DRM stuff sits? Is it married into Adobe Flash, and we're missing a certain Flash version?
