Mostly likely not, but is it possible to install another phone's OS onto another phone model, eg. the Samsung Galaxy Note's on the U8800?

That would take a developer or programmer to do, because no one has yet ported it?

Hi all. Thanks for your answers. My question is:
can I make a bi-partition Samsung Galaxy Note ll and install windows 7 or install windows mobile 6.5.? If it can, how? thanks
Honestly mate iv never heard of such a thing good idea but dont think it can be implimented due to kernel and framework issues. Maybe possible if the hdd was partitioned correctly.im sure someone with a bit more knowlededge will be along soon

one word: No.
if we go i to explaination, simple put: we dont have a windows phone on exactly same SoC as our Note II yet....and will not be probably...
hence we do not have any sources to build from.
The subject is on.
We are on the list but in the NS topic there is no full version rom.
Anybody knows anything?

I have a gnex but I remember seeing that someone ported it in the ns4g.
Its still under the name boot2gecko but you probably going to need to wait for a more stable version gets released. Right now I think its buggy with limited functions but has a radio.
I'm not 100% positive this is correct but I'm just trying to give some insight.

Hi!
Firefox os did support Nexus S. Here is my method to put Firefox os into Nexus S.
1. Download ICS image from google, soju-imm76d-factory-ca4ae9ee.tgz
2. tar zxvf soju-imm76d-factory-ca4ae9ee.tgz
3. Press volume up + power key. Nexus S will get into fastboot mode.
4. run "./flash-all.sh" Nexus S will be flashed with ICS image
5. get into B2G code and run script "./config.sh nexus-s"
6. build image "./build.sh"
7. flash image "./flash.sh"

Hi,
Does exist some version of Firefox OS for Galaxy S3?
Thanks!
I think its not so easy to port Firefox to any android device , maybe just for now maybe later we can see firefox on android device and also
android os on firefox devices
Yea its not easy to port it but when someone does there will be lots of bugs!
But when its done, it could be very nice to have.
Is this for the international S3?
I can't find any reference to where you found this file.

I am curious to know how YOu feeling about firefox os...What does it maybe have that no other os has? Where has it improved on "known" features? where has it straight up failed?
I'm very interested in firefox OS on galaxy S3 too.
Like on S2 in dual boot would be great to begin using it.

android is replacing every OS of present day. even the PC,s are reverting to this os due to its open platform and easy use.it will be far better if Android is promoted and progressed instead of introducing new os like that of firefox.it will take a very long time to streamline and turn it a bugless os.
For the US link, which carrier is that for

for whanam i know i dont need to be root just download it via google store
but to activate it i need to install first the frame work....can i install it without root?????
No. You need need root.
Since this is a Framework you need to install you have to root I'm afraid. It's not that hard and quite easy if you follow instructions carefully!

Well, there are several explanations towards the lag thing. It might have something to do with the actual ROM itself. Did you try another ROM? Did you try another Kernel? There are tons of solutions on this subject.
If you ever want to flash a custom ROM on your Note 3 I would highly recommend the X-Note (available for the N9005 and some other versions) .

That I'm afraid I can't answer. My device says 14.32 GB available. Have you installed anything or transferred any files to it?

How is this ROM compared to stock? Does it still retain all of the S Pen features and whatnot?

Yes, all the S Pen features exists. What really makes the ROM different is the speed and battery life. You get the Xposed Framework preinstalled as well which adds tons of modification features. Head over to the thread and you'll see all the features it provides.

Buy a second Note. Otherwise no. I don't think we have a kernel which supports dual boot at the moment.
There was a project, but I think its development is/has been stopped.

some time ago a dev made a Kernel Script which supports to have more than one Rom at the same time installed on our Note,
you could switch between them at booting
but unfortunately this time is over

Yes, most do.
However, it would be way to slow to be usable.
Now running ubuntu on a phone is a lot easier. Try it instead.
