Is there a way to silently install a CAB file?

Hi Guys,
I know on Windows (XP) or other OS, we can install some files "silently", without a setup screen, choosing the install folder and things like that.
Is there a way to install CAB file silently on WM5, I got 2 cabs that I want to install, but dont want the user to "see it install''.
Maybe with adding some parameters to wceload.exe?

\Windows\wceload.exe my.cab /silent will install my.cab silently.
Remember to wait for wceload to exit before you try to install a second cab. You must also lower the securitylevel of the device or get the files signed for it to work......

I generally use /noui switch.

Help on slide to open

i need help trying to install the slide to open program were can i download the newest version and how do i install it? i installed it from some other website but i had something say i dident have permssion and then a sharing violation? little help thanks

If you have any probs try installing S2U2 (not pro) And next time post what phone/rom your using Just drag the .cab file on to your device and install, prob best if you install to device memory

just install the cab ....

how? i dont get anything to install it, all i get is "there is no application associated with s2u2-0.96wm5" run the application firs then open this file from within the application, wich application? oh and well i have a titan rom? well everything is factory.

anyone? i really need help here

Ok, you have downloaded the rar-file.
extract it with winrar and you get 3 files:
the cab file for installation and 2 txt files.
copy the cab file to your device and run it ...
had it been!

[HELP/Q]Package Creator

Hmm can someone explain to me how to convert a .cab using packagecreator successfully? where it would install on the phone on boot up and what not? I've did the steps from the tutoril of how to cook a rom (cab section) and the readme file that came with the package creator but for some reason when i make a "package" to load into the ROM or SYS folder, it doesn't seem to install and work. I'm trying to put NetCF3.5 in rom, Opera 9.5 2392, and the tweak programs into my rom so it will load up with eveything else, but i get some error of building user.hv and what not >.> so any help will be greatly appreciated :/
Edit: i have no program install the cab files once the phone has been flashed, but id like to upload my rom for people see if they like it, so yeah would like to get the package thing working w.

To those who want to install 'TOMTOM' & display Simplified Chinese on HD2

Hi, my first post here...
I just flashed the Energy 21908 Glass rom...

I was trying to enable the simplified chinese displaying on the phone without installing the IME...
So I installed the font in this thread: Arphic Crystal CHS Fonts

However, when it restart, I found some of the interface changed to chinese but some of them remained in english...
Then I tried to uninstall the package but the characters which was in chinese before then displayed as "chequers"
I think the Arphic Crystal CHS Fonts package might be not compatible with the earlier energy rom..
I uploaded the edited cab file which I did some minor change with the registry... So far it works fine!
Please note: the revised cab is only suitable for those who want to read website, contacts, emails and message in chinese. it will not change the interface. the device interface will remain in English~~~
Regarding the TOMTOM issue... After the installation, it pops up an error window showing "bttray.exe is not a valid wince application"...
when I searched through the forum, someone suggested to delete the btcoreif.dll and btsdk30.dll in the rom after installation (but before restart)...
However, it did not work in my case...I tried to delete but the the two files are in rom and not able to be deleted. The cause of the problem is: when you install the tomtom, the older version file (i.e. btcoreif.dll and btsdk30.dll) in tomtom cab will replace the existing file in your rom...And then it could not be deleted or renamed!!! In your case, may be not...
So I deleted this two dll files in the tomtom original cab and then installed in my HD2... it works fine now... no popups, and the bluetooth works well... I uploaded to megaupload for someone who wants a simple solution~~~

Lastly, I recommend a software: WinCE CAB Manager. When you open an cab file with this tool on your computer, it will clearly show the file structure... how the cab will modify your registry...what files will be added to your rom...etc.

Did you copy all needed cab files to the same folder as "wp7 cab sender.bat" located?
