Hello everyone, I am offering up my Adam to this community before I stick it on ebay. When i bought it I was an undergraduate student obsessed with gadgets. During my first year of graduate studies I have found that I simply do not have the time for my gadgets anymore. My evo 3d does everything I need it to and more.
This tablet has very few hours of actual use on it and is about as new looking as you'll find from a used product. It's been collecting dust not even turned on for the last 6 months. I was in the very first purchase group with notion ink. The day the tablet arrived I went to best buy and bought a $30 Incase neoprene sleeve that it has spent it's entire life in (included with sale). The only damage is on the bottom right corner where i bumped a door frame while walking and tableting (dangerous! lol). Purely cosmetic only. I used it with the included screen protector all it's life. I took it off for the sale to show the flawless screen.
Currently running cyanogenmod 12 which i found to be the most responsive honeycomb rom. Unlike some others, I've had no problems with the capacitive touch response boundaries near the top of the screen.
Included is the tablet (Notion Ink Adam Pixel-Qi/WiFi/2100Mhz 3G band version), Incase neoprene case, and original notion ink charger.
I'd like to get $500 shipped conus, but will listen to reasonable offers as Im not sure what these go for today. Paypal preferred.
Please email me at [email protected] for the quickest response, I dont frequent this site very often anymore.
Thanks!
-Kevin

Thanks for sharing. I went ahead and ordered 2.
Seems like they always intro it at some sale price then spike it up later on.
I think it's better for $1.98 for 2 than $4.99 later on for one.

So I didn't read the first post and assumed it was for 1 per .99 cents.
When I got them in the mail today, packaging was top notch in a bubble padded mailer. I was expecting 2 total. I ended up with 6. Seems to be cut great. Didn't put them on yet. So far so good.
Is there any sure fire way of resolving the Nexus 7 screen lift?
On past devices, I have tried the tightening the screws, using "make-shift washers", removing foam, etc. I am not willing to glue the screen to the bezel.
Is there a 100% Concrete resolution for this? The device that this was replacing was having touch input issues, but had NO screen lift. Honestly, this is beginning to frustrate me. I am appalled at the QC issues coming from these devices. For those that think people just ***** for no reason, and then suggest Apple, please don't. All other android devices I have received, I have never generally had any defaults (unless it was software which was fixable), which is why I am really disappointed with this. This is the fourth device I am on:
1st had screen lift
2nd had speed io, lag, and force close issues
3rd was fine for a week, and then I was getting touch input issues and the device was typing and launching applications on it's own
4th (current) has screen lift
Seriously, is there any sure fire way to fix it? Just for clarification, I just received this today, and opened it up less than 4 hours ago.
Some pictures (was unable to upload the pictures to XDA for whatever reason, kept getting complaints about a security token)

OMG
You have like a fraction of lift.
Go get your money back and buy your girl a nice dinner or a camera class (same price).
Some of you people amaze me.
send it back in, ask for a c9ok as replacement..
Hey guys / gals,
My OnePlus story is a long one so I'll keep it short. I've replaced the screen on my OnePlus One 4 times. The first time was about a year ago when I dropped it after drinking lots of scotch, since then I've busted the screen in a variety of ways.
First time I busted the screen Oneplus quoted me $163 for repair.
Anyhow I've been ordering my replacement screens from Ebay and Aliexpress. My experience is less than great, shipping time is over a month, although the cost is generally less than 35-40 dollars, and a couple have been in the neighborhood of $25.
This last time I had to replace my screen I got one where the digitizer acts up randomly. I have show touches enabled, frankly because I like the little white circle chasing my thumb around but it also has practical purposes too; like showing me when my screen is having a seizure. My theory with the current screen (the moody one) is that the ribbon cable is slightly too long and it's either causing a pinch or the connector gets knocked out of place ever so slightly. I'll see 8-10 of the little white touch circles dancing around at the bottom of my screen sometimes, and other times my screen has very fragmented response and will only pickup tiny quick touches, no gestures or swipes.
My method for testing the screen after installing is using snapchat

So my question to you is where do you source your screens from? How do you rate the quality when compared to the original screen? What cost is reasonable to you?
Thanks folks!
Sincerely,
The guy who can't have nice things.

Full Disclosure: I received this review sample at no cost.
Currently I use a Spigen hybrid for my day to day carry case, so this would be a new experience for me. Hopefully a good one as I am prone to misplace my wallet.
It was packaged nicely with a cloth bag.

This is a good sign.
I'm not sure if the case was designed to sit up for viewing, but I got it to work just fine.
Here it is with my "mission critical take alongs". I fit my license, 2 credit cards and two other cards in the main holders. I'm not a cash guy so I shoved insurance related cards in the bill holder. At this point, that section is a bit "bulgy". Now maybe I've overstuffed it a bit and it might settle in with some use, time will tell.
One thing I did note is the overall construction, it seems very solid. The stitching looks nice and isn't sloppy.
For those that use a wallet case, this is a solid choice. The buttons are cut outs, which is good, as I've had issues with other cases and how the case buttons feel. The styling is nice and I believe it is also offered in brown as well. The magnet does well to close the case. I can't say if this is going to provide good drop protection, hopefully I won't ever find out. The inner case is a pretty standard TPU case. Ipulse is quick to respond at least on facebook, so that is a definite plus. They are looking for consumers to provide additional reviews if you are interested.
Thanks to https://www.ipulsecases.com/ for their review sample and thank you for reading this.
I've added a review of this case to my case reviews thread, here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76193774&postcount=5
TL;DR: I like this case a LOT.
How does the case hold up?
