Sell HP touch pad, buy transformer?

Well, I'm sure I will get some pretty biased responses, but I am looking for a true android device, don't want to spend a ton, so I was thinking of selling my HP touchpad for a transformer!! What do you think? Thoughts? Really want to keep the cost in the 3-350 range...

Check out the transformer 300. Right now ice cream sandwich has been unstable in the tf101 for some ppl including me.

i have a hp touchpad and also have a transformer. Since purchasing the transformer, i don't use the touchpad (with android) at all and actually gave it to my 5 year old. i have had a few lockups, but nothing too major and never while i'm using it. i'm sure it will get sorted out relatively soon. also i frequently see WTB ads on my local craigslist wanting 16gb touchpads for ~$200 and i also frequently see ads selling transformers with dock for $250-$350. So, if you sell your tp you should be able to get into a transformer for no more than $150 out of pocket if the market where you live is similar to mine.

Great info, thanks again for all the feedback, gonna sell the TP and get the t300 transformer, only like $30 more then the og transformer and quad core!!

Yep, right decision imho, I'd do the same

Returned laggy tf300t for replacement and got a 32G from Best Buy

I decided to return my TPad for a replacement. It was way too laggy and others were not having the issue. Best Buy replaced it no problem and I was able to get a 32G that had just arrived. I had to pay the extra $20 but that was OK with me.
I am happy to report that the new Pad does not have the lag issues. I am unhappy to report that it has a reboot problem. [Rebooted at least 6 or 7 times since yesterday]. I have done one reset and I restored apps from Titanium. I had 1 reboot since. If it happens again I will restore once more and not restore my apps via Titanium. If it still reboots I will try another replacement. Still it is very good to know that the lag issue was the individual tablet and not something present in all of them. It gives me hope.
If anyone has another recommendation for the reboots let me know.

I'd like to be able to set the performance to MAX on boot rather than the middle setting and having to keep increasing it to play HD videos.

Are you in Canada? I only saw it on their Canadian website

I am in the U.S. When I was returning the 16G version I asked if they had the 32G. The girl checked her computer and said no. When they brought the replacement it was the 32G. She thought they must have come in that day.

Aww sheeet I'm about to book it to best buy then and go through every tablet they got for one. They had their 201 docks labeled as the 300 docks. So disorganized.

i picked up my tf300t from bestbuy and they told me it was a 16gb version but when i got home it was the 32gb version. I'm in the us by the way.

I just went to my best buy here in Bend, Oregon and picked up a 32gb tf300t. I called on maybe thursday last week and the person I talked to didnt even know when they would be getting it in. Went in today and looked through all the tf300's looking for the 32gb and found one. It looked like they had a few more but there was no price tag saying they had 32gb's for sale. Strange.
Either way I exchanged my 16gb tf300 for the 32gb and paid $20. Now im happy,
In other news it doesnt seem to be finding the latest firmware update, still on .17

What do you think the TF101 is worth now, with dock?

I am in need of extra cash, what is a good price to sell a mint condition Tf101 32gb with dock? Considering the news of the nexus tab, this kind of changes the playing field out seems.

You need to post whether 16GB or 32GB, condition, and accessories included to get an idea.

Mint condition, have original boxes, receipt for the tablet, car dock, 8gb sd, and blurex case.

Also have 2 extra 5ft USB cords, along with the original 3ft cord.

You should be able to get at least $350 with everything. On a good day, maybe $400 on eBay.

I hope so, i have it at $360 buy it now and no one is biting yet. Oh well, I have a couple more days.

Anyone selling their 8GB Nexus 7?

With the new 32GB version out, is anyone looking to sell their 8GB? I would imagine a few of these would be hitting the xda marketplace by now, but I haven't seen very many. Can't wait to get my hands on these, but I'm cheap.
