Hi, I have a problem with Xperia x10 a few days I try to install DooMKernel and fail, my x10 is installed ... xrecovery root and I can install CM7, android 2.3 but can not install Android 4.0. Can you help please?

If you bricked your phone, just use Sony Ericsson PC Companion to repair your phone, and then root it and try again.

i have upadate my x8 by seus , root it by real exploit (no flashing to 1.6 > 2.1 pre rooted) Jit and xrecovery don't work (i don't test app2sd , no money for sdhc ;p)
when u want have Jit/app2sd/xrecovery falsh to 1.6 dount > do some in adb > flash 2.1 rus pre-rooted .

Hi, how do I install ROM for Sony Ericsson x8 v2.1.1.A.0.6 stock ROM ? Any tutorial's ? I want to install 2.2.1 CM Floyo v0.20 from here:

there is tutorial somewhere..use search next time.but here it is
*your phone must be rooted and have xrecovery installed first
1.download the floyo rom and extract it on your pc
2.put the extracted file on backup folder in xrecovery.
3.boot to xrecovery an select backup and restore.
4.backup your current rom so that you can go back if you dont like floyo.(optional)
5.go to restore and restore floyo
6.full wipe(factory reset) on xrecovery
7.reboot(take long time for first reboot.

What rom are you currently running? The first three things to do are:
1. Root the phone.
2. install xrecovery.
3. Backup your current rom.
The link another poster posted has it all.
YOu can also use SEUS ( sony ericsson update service) to flash back to the stock ROM,

Hello i recently installed Minicm Rom on my X8 but first i installed a CMW recovery which is required by the Minicm Rom as i know..
Now i want to test some other rom like the FroyoBread which require Xrecovery instead.. and that's the problem.. How can i install the Xrecovery on the CMW?Doesn't the Xrecovery brick my X8 if i flash it on a minicm rom which require the CMW?
How can i procede?

hi, i've an xperia x8 with cyanogenmod Froyo 2.2.1 or MiniCM 1.0.0-RC2. I used it with no problem since i've installed droidwall. At the first reboot the phone doesn't start, the boot is full of messages of interruption for a lot of applications...android.process.acore, error HTC_IME and some oders erors....and xrecovery doesn't work with back button! how can i do? kill the phone? tnk u
