Tapatalk

Is xda neglecting tapatalk? Never had a new update since its release. We want search, and I found a bug. If I want to refresh a forum, it locks up at processing. I have to manually refresh each thread I am following.

your having problems refreshing? im having problems using the app altogether. most of the times when i open it, it flat out closes. not even a force close sometimes. just gave up on it really.

Jero, it's still good to use. The only problem I really get is the refreshing and locking up, which I just kill it using autokiller..Otherwise, it's fine. But an update would be nice.

Yeah, it's great for on-the-go reading and replying to keep up on the happenings of the hero section, but still needs work and features. Give it a shot!

Why exactly can't they just fix this one? Bad marketing tactic if you ask me. I work in a biz that relies on attractiveness and if I offer a turd for free, what makes you think the customer would pay for that turd?

Why use an app that the browser can do just fine. I bookmarked this site logged in and don't have to worry about an app. Browser even keeps me logged in.

I tried the app, stuck to opera mini, way faster and can do it all, keeps me logged in too.

You just kinda answered it. The XDA Talkatap was a freebee. Why would he update the freebee when you can go donate to him for the full version?

I think XDA has to install a plugin, but from that aspect on, its all tapatalk. If you install the plain tapatalk app, there are hundred of forums to browse.
It shows its made by tapatalk.

ICS for GT-p1000 NOT confirmed

Hey guys!
Great news. Just read an article in the German Bild-Zeitung that HTC and Samsung confirmed a "limited feature" version of ICS for SGS, HTC Desire, our beloved Tab and other "older" android-devices.

yup, i have checked there also.

Its not a limited version, its just plain Android without Touchwiz.
That was a translation error when they translated it from Korean

Thanks for the source. I read something similar a few days ago. Unfortunately, it is still nothing official in my pov. It is mostly a translation of what has been posted on XDA news a few days ago. This all is still based on rumors. Until there's no official confirmation I am trying not to get my hopes to high.

Well, it is clear as written,, ics for Tab 7 will not, what else can you say.

DEMERITS of OFFICIAL ICS

1.PHONE-not having inbuilt contacts
2.LOGS-even after selecting only missed or only received or any choice,it reverts back to all calls
3.LOGS-call logs are not grouped together as in GB
4.BALANCE NOTIFICATION-there is no way out to disable vibration while getting the balance notication after sending sms or ending call
5.MARKET-most of the time apps are not downloading-COULDNT BE DOWNLOADED DUE TO ERROR 927
6.MARKET-apps which are suppoed to be put on SD CARD cant be downloaded
7.APPS-numerous force close
8.LOCKSCREEN-while waking the phone,homescreen appears for a fraction of second then lockscreen comes into action
9.t
TW LAUNCHER-numerous fcs
10.WIFI-sometimes it requires 2 clicks for opening wifi via notification pull down
11.SCREEN SENSITIVITY-V V V V HEAVYYYYY
12.TRANSFERRING DATA-files more than 20 mb cant pe pasted from phone to pc and vice versa
13.BATTERY-life is vvvv poor

Dissapointed official builds have no updated ICS themes. Also my WiFi disconnects a lot now.

Dear developers,
First of all thank you for your excellent work to all of you. I was watching a review of the Meizo MX 4 core and I really liked the interface. It reminds me of MIUI but more polished if you get my point. I've searched everywhere but I can't find any port of it on the web. Does anyone agree with me that this should be ported ?

Why don't u just buy Meizu MX4 (by selling ur S2?) ? It's cheaper than ur S2 ofcoz..

First of all I don't want to sell the s2 because I don't like the meizu's design. And Tyr s2 is the overall better phone in my opninion.
And sorry if this is the wrong section, could you please tell me in wich section I should post it ?

Flyme indeed looks good.. Way better than touchwiz and in my opinion AOSP aswell.. But it'll be a nightmare, why?
CPU/GPU combo..the S3 OS porting is in a rough patch.. MX4 is almost same..
Flyme's customisations run deep into the OS, like Sense..
From a chinese company so you'd be lucky if you find any documentation at all..

How did u get it to work im really interested in this app . i already installed it it shows two apps on of the apps when u first open closes right away and then when i open it again it works but i cant do anything to change anything. please help thanks

I guess neither of you read the part of the post explaining what it is you're installing on your tablet.
The app has no proper UI yet, only a skeleton "UI Skeleton" that does nothing aside from telling which Panel installed on your tablet is detected.
