I have a dummy (the phones you see on display but dont really work) titan you can have for real cheap. I could also send you some links to places where you could find a job and EARN one.

I have to agree with that. I remember the days...
Raimi noodles...
Tap water filled over & over into a recycled Evian bottle...
And washing my clothes in the boiler room sink...
But it all paid off; now I get a new PDA phone every 2 years (some free of charge) and a lobster dinner once a month.

Getting into college might be a difficult time for this kid. Just reading his post is painful. I see prep English in his near future. But then again im no English major myself either....

I just finished 3 years of college studying full time, working 20 hours a week in a call center and maintaining a 3.3 GPA.
I have had 4 PDA's during that time and they where all bought we hard earned cash.
Yes I paid for my own tuition, and no my socks do not have holes in them.
It can be done, tuff it out homeboy !

craiglist would be your best bet probably for a good price on a titan and then make some changes and activate it on cricket network or something similar / cause once u have the 6800 plans can be expensive

had to sell it because i owe the bank 355 bucks in overdraft fees and its going to collections in 30 days if i dont >/ ..now i only have 50 bucks..it is going to suck going from this phone to a Dumb phone..especially with the line up phones i had ...so sad today and now i just read that htcs releasing the source..just wonderful

Same thing happened to me although not as bad...I had the touch pro2 but needed money for a loan I had to pay right away so I sold it and paid the loan and had just enough left for a second hand hero. Can't wait for my tax refund though!!
edit: You should try craigslist I got my new hero off there for 200 and you could sell your old dumb phone for like 50.

I'm due to pick up my Galaxy SII tomorrow from my local carrier.
Man, they are hard to get your hands on around here. I was told by the corporate rep who's also a friend of mine that the waiting list has over 200 people on it right now!
Short version. I'm coming from a Dell Streak 5, which I bought used from an XDA member and was able to sell here to a friend. My boss is going to foot the bill for half of the price of my new contract GSII, so I'll come out about $200 bucks ahead to upgrade!
Been lurking over in this section for a few days trying not to make too many bonehead moves so I don't end up asking the same dumb questions again. The search button is great, but it honestly doesn't always produce very well in terms of direct results.

Hmm about £200 also it's almost brand new as I got one from warranty about 3 weeks ago and it also has a spare otter box aswell.

Dell has dumped their inventory of AT&T DVP on TechSoup org and they are going for $31 each till there gone. They come with the SIM unlock code.
If you know someone who works for a non-profit in the US you can get one through them. Up to 20 can be ordered by each organization.

I have one to sell, but it's a little beat up and has some significant AMOLED dimming. I think I'll take my chances on ebay. Even though you can get a decent 32GB MicroSDHC card for about $15, the a 32GB version of this phone sells for significantly more than a 8GB version.
A little while ago Secondipity's ebay store had 8GB models accepting best offer submissions of $100. That's the best deal I've seen. Even at that price, it took them a couple weeks to sell out. Now prices are higher. They were the T-Mobile version, but as I've read on the forum, it's just the same hardware flashed with different ROMs.
Either way, you may want to hold off buying anything until you hear what Microsoft has to say at the Windows Phone 8 announcement scheduled for June 20th.

Sorry sold my VP to CeX for £114 and bought an S3 the phone was nearing the end of it's life and, if dell were reluctant to fix a small issue with the compass then, I highly doubt they'll send out an upgrade for the discountinued phone. Bye WP7 and I'll only come back when I'm bored of android. Ciao.

I personally bought the DVP from this seller. ACTUALLY, he is like a half mile away from my home! HAHA. If you order from him, I can make sure he sends you a good working DVP. I am actually helping him unlock some other phones he has and removing some demo software on some Samsung Focus and HTC HD7 phones. He has a few DVP that are kinda messed up and 2 or 3 in pretty good condition. check it out. Look at his other auctions.

Ended up selling my extra one for about $150. Prices were lower last month when an liquidator was trying to move some stock. Prices may go down again with today's announcement that WP7 handsets will not be updated to WP8.

and even if u sell each at 80$(plus shipping & fees) which is amazing price for this device, u make 30x80$=2400$...
u can keep 3 of these, so u make about 400$ atleast...
help many people get a bb gsm... coz people refrain from selling it for anything lower than 100$...
if permitted, u can have people sort of book a device from u... and then u make a special thread for it to keep things transparent

also, plz confirm...the pic shows 34 devices... try offering him like 1800 for the lot he would probably want 2000...
and u might have them for 1900
