[Q] 2.2 floyo v0.20 wifi problem!

hello i just got the newest version of the 2.2 floyo by racht and its working great except for the wifi
i t detects my wifi and iwhen i try to connect to it the only thing it do is authenticates with the network and nothing more happend
What should i do?
Plzz help me you guys are my only hope!!!

There is something wrong with wifi in racht's ROM indeed. For now, try to delete all remember networks, if it doesn't help do a full wipe and try again. If you, however, have a netgear router you will have to wait until we fix the bug If we fix it...

i've got the same problem, i'm using belkin router. is full wipe the only solution? and has anybody reported it helped? i'd like to try it, but i just restored all my apps with titanium backup, and i just don't want to waste my time again...

I dont have this problem anyway thats realy strnage and btw i have zyxel for router.

It should be enough to erase all the remembered networks. But this helps only if your wifi is stuck on "connecting".

I have no problems with this rom.this is the perfect rom indeed.

Strange, i do not have problem with wifi (WAP2).

It's router brand related.

Thank you, just deleting the previous rememberd networks was enough for me to solve the problem, I'm a happy floyo 0.20 user now =)

6hours nonstop connected to hotspot cafe,no problem,no restart

UD 1.0: connect/disconnect WLAN problem

I have a Wifi problem:
I connect to a connectify hotspot, using WPA2 encryption.
My smartphone and my notebook are connecting perfectely, the A70 does not.
The WLAN gets connected, data can be transferred.
Then, after aproximately 30 seconds, WLAN disconnects.
This keeps going on, drops and reconnects all the time.
I tried not to activate WLAN through a Widget but in preferences but it didn't help.
Does anybody have a solution for this Problem?

I have the brand new 1.5b2 and the wifi doesnt work propably on this version, but with this app it does Try..

Do you think the WLAN problems were known at release which is why this app was included?

I think it depends on the WiFi setup. I have problems at home, but never at work. From time to time i lose connectivity and when I try to reenable WiFi, it just wont start up. Catlog shows a lot WiFi errors. Rebooting the device is the only solution.

No, but the included wifi client on froyo can have problems with new PSK2 networks, so sauron included this app
Did it work with that app?

Then,
Backup your apps,
wipe your archos (reformat via recovery menu),
Install urukdroid 1.0,
If uruk 1.0 dont work update to the sedond beta of 1.5 its very good

Urukdroid is not necessary.
Is the 1.5b2 good?
I ignored it as it is a beta and I don't quite like betas

All works, except the cpu governor "conservative", but sauron add it again

I would prefer to you first completly wipe your archos via the recovery menu
After the wipe you have to install the archos firnware...
After that just install urukdroid 1.0 normally
Then download the urukdroid1.5b2 update file and put them into /data/Urukupdate
(You need a root explorer to do so)
Then you have to wait...
Your archos will be restartet

Hi Lenn... Im on UK 1.0 now. If I'd like upgrade to 1.5b2 what should I do next? I've already download upgrade file. Do I need upgrade kernel before upgrade to 1.5b2 too? Thank you

Hi,
You have to get a root explorer app
After that copy the downloaded file into /data/urukupdate (root), without extract!
Wait about 5-10 minutes, your archos will do the update, after that your archos will restart, and flashes the new rootfs
After that you upgraded succesfully

Unfortunately I am still experiencing enormous problems with wifi.
the connection is not stable. I have pings with terminal in background of 11000 ms.
can you help me with that?

I try to switch on wlan it is on for a while but it doesn't find any connections and it then shuts itselfl. Do i have to reinstall android or what?

What rom are you using? When this problem occour? Does your wlan mac 0?

maybe there is no connection, but wlna work, try where you are sure there is a wifi network

I'm using Huawei's android 2.3.5 beta so it's not a custom rom but I think I will flash aurora ics. I haven't noticed this problem before.

[Q] Authentication problem with wifi on Aurora 4.0

i can't connect to my router, it says authentication problem everytime.
i can connect with my laptop but not with the phone. why?

Try the old wpa supplicants, it might work.

Does anyone know how to solve wifi reconnect problem in this whitexp wifi drivers??
it looses connection and reconnects its irritating please help

go into wifi settings
press menu key on phone
select advanced
goto wifi sleep policy
change to never

Stock drivers consume a heck more battery than Whitexp ones

Just reflash hells fusion should be fine
you have the option to flash stock kernel first if you wish
don't forget to mount system before you flash the zip each time
