after restoring apps most of them fc if try to open them any solution i have latest version from play store
edit: here the fix u have to tick follow all symbolic links before backup ( u have to delete the old backup files and make new backup) then when u restore u need to flash datafix(or it come by default with most of the roms ) then tick follow all symbolic links and restore it should work

I guess you used the 30datafix script, didn't you?
If so, you had to set ub TB to follow all symbolic links in order to get complete data backups.
I had the same issue after using the above mentioned /datadata-fix-script.
If you have a nandroid-backup you can still recover your data by extracting the datadata-backup using unyaffs and copying the missing files into your actual datadata-directory manually.
(At least that's what I did)

I am quite new in flashing ROM's on android devices and I have doubts regarding the following:
If I backup all apps and data installed on the actual ROM, can I restore them after I flash another ROM? Especially if I go from a Sense 3.0 to a Sense 3.5 ROM...

I think its ok to restore the apps but not the data. This is what I do (with titanium) and have never noticed a problem.

If ure trying to back up and restore data, u should try using "mybackup root" in the market. U can back up ur text messages then restore it in any rom( cm7/cm9/sense). Ive been using that since I bought this phone.
Oh and u can backup other stuff with that app as well.

I always restore apps and data and have never had a problem. What you should not do is restore system apps. Everything else is fine

it might be well because of the hyperion build interfering with the apps if yes upgrade to some other ROM (try jellyblast v3.2 - its amazing
don't blame hyperion ROM for this problem. I have been using it since it was introduced by Carl.
Playstore app in this ROM is much better than the ROM which i was using before, in terms of starting time taken Before downloading any app..

this is a conflict sometimes when restoring titanium backup,
if you used titanium backup,
flash to stock,
reinstall the rom,
if you restore system data exclude Accounts, Settings Storage
Error 942 is about regional lock (i think so because i had the same error). But i have no idea how to fix it. I mean i just flash new build Hyperion and now i have no problems

I have worked on fixing certain issues with Shenqi V4.1,Like calendar and few other. I think its a very stable ROM, have been using it for over 3 weeks. I would like to post it for you. I am no developer/Hack expert, just a curious noob. I fixed very few issues and the ROM is pretty good. Thanks a lot for Shenqi to the original developer Yicong Huang and also mchlbenner for constantly trying to provide us with the best.
Features
1)Camera and Video (native)
2)Sensors and compass
3) FM
5) Everything that the phone supports.
Drawbacks
1)Lacks proper memory management (only when you open too many apps), could be over clocked to 1Ghz though for better performance.
2)No keyboard included. Please keep a keyboard app handy.
3)No link2sd
Instructions:
1) Create a folder called nandroid on SD-card and put it inside. If you already do just copy the downloaded files inside.
2) 3 Wipes before and after.

Thanks for this ROM, this looks really complete with everything native and working. Link2SD gave me some problems with apps disappearing so i uninstalled it. If you are on XT720-2.1mod.SBF you have to apply CM7 sensor fix for correct orientation.
Yes, I've experienced the same problem with link2sd, please try over clocking to 1Ghz. This ROM is really fast then.

You need to apply the cm7 sensor fix if you are using sbf mod.

Fortunately I flashed this rom several weeks ago on my wife's stone. Imho it is good for a daily driver and also one of the faster roms which are available for this device. :good:

Well, the screenshot is blank!
Try updating frm Play store. And if its galaxy y, try deleting com.instagram..... folder in sdcard/Android/data . Hope it will work! Well, i am regular instagram user,
and havent faced the prob till now!

It means you have either SD card partition, which is faulty, or no space on SD card, or maybe corrupted SD card!
If u have any memory tweak, then uninstall it! If it doesn't help, format SD card to remove partition!
(Don't blame me if you've formatted SD card & doesn't work!)
Note: I experienced same bug in Reincarnation ROM using memory script! But, after removing the script, it worked!

if on cm9 camera doesnt work and maybe it might have something to do with auto focus - I dunno really you will have to ask the app maker
try it on stock rom if you are using a custom rom or cm7/9

i know, but before nova launcher works in system, now dont
I use nova in every phone with every android version on every rom in system without issues,so its weird.

In kitkat the best is you delete any other launcher and move it to system/priv-app with permission rw-r-r--,but dont forget to mount system rw before.

I know, but I now use cm10 because no lags and battery is good
I deleted launcher too, I use File manager by rythm software, mount system rw, and put Nova in system,set permission,and put one lib file from nova,set permission too,then reboot. and dont work :/
