Hi, I found that XPERIA S music app works well on Offical ICS but Status Bar and Lockscreen Music Control is not working

I think that we can use xperia s music player equalizer when XPERIA S ICS release
guys does this player work on cm9? the only thing I'm missing on my lovely cyanogenmod is the music player from xperia s.

the only xperia S app I'm using atm is the keyboard and a modified conversations.apk (modified because it was modified to enable MMS and starred feature)
I read somewhere on the forum that weather widgets are also working haven't tried though as I switched to Go Launcher Ex which is pretty cool on Official ICS.

Which music widget app do you use with go launcher?

so you can have more proper music

Can you tell me where you got these modified apps? Ive tried using them on ics final but I get force closes.

for Xperia S apps I got it from the xperia play forum here is the link extract AudioEffectServise.apk , SemcMetadataCleanup.apk ,semcMusic.apk and MusicWidget.apk and put them in the system/app after fixing the permission
the sound enhancement will give you force close thats why I use dsp manger for ISC you can download it from here
I prefer DSP Manager because it works with audio and vidéos.
Bluetooth Play/Pause is broken when using the Xperia S Music player on Arc S with ICS.

We need the ICS version of the Xperia S music player for the Arc S, which should fix this (unless Sony don't realise it's changed either....)

Yeah, I saw that prompt.
I clicked download and nothing happened.

I cleared Walkman data , reboot... it didn't come back again. I saw the update earlier, it just refused to update. Got stuck.
Gapless playback
I don't have gapless playback when using the WALKMAN player... Does anyone else have this issue?
When playing the same files on a different music player, there are no gaps it plays as it should. It appears it's just the WALKMAN app that is putting gaps in between tracks - even though a quick google search says that it supports gapless playback.
Also, as an aside, does anyone else find it annoying that the app files artists that begin with "the" under the letter T?!

I'm on Ported Walkman Ver. - 8.1.A.0.7 at the moment, Can you post the change-log, as well?
My 4.4.2 UK version comes with 8.1.A.0.6, and no updates received so far.
New Walkman App (8.4.A.5.3)
The new update significantly increases start-up time according to Sony, as well as providing a better overview in Walkman home with fewer items. Sony still gives you the option to open the full list view. The 12.3MB.

You could lose sound mod features...

I have the same problem, ocassionally the scroll bar shows up though. But I found out that if you change from portrait to landscape and then back to portrait view quickly the scroll bar always shows up.

Yeah mine is bumped to that as well. Has anyone noticed that when playing there is a very nice Visualiser (I like Glow theme the best ) - find it very handy when playing music esp. when driving to keep the screen 'on'

As many of people found it very bad idea to rename the Walkman app to "Music" I made this little simple app that rename it back to "Walkman" and bring back the Walkman icon

The Beta red text will stay there until Sony pushes the final stable version out, it is used for convenience for the developers of the Music app

Tried that and still does not work on Nova Prime.
I even did a reinstall of the launcher and still to no avail.
From many apps running in a stretched out phone mode to others missing certain functionalities, this upgrade has been a complete mess. Here are some examples:
Play Books: Missing in-book options.
TWC TV: Stuck in stretched out phone mode. Can't select anything and stuck on same channel forever.
Series Guide: Phone mode. Centered menus, small icons.
SwiftKey: Flattened keyboard, uncomfortable to type.
MLB At Bat: Phone mode. Giant images.
FunimationNow: Huge fonts.
Play Newsstand: Small icons, huge images.
EPIX: Provider list blank and only scrolls halfway. Impossible to sign in.
Several apps also have the side menu missing.
There are more but you get the point. For some reason apps think that the Remix is a phone. I find this situation very frustrating because, as the device that started it all for you guys, the Ultratablet and its OS really deserve more attention than you guys have bothered to give it, instead leaving it by the wayside while moving onto bigger and better things. I never thought that a year after release this tablet would still need so much work.

If you have your keyboard attached then right click the opened app to select Fullscreen.
If you're using just touch go into the app management under settings and find the app in the list you want to change settings to.

Hmm, not really a solution since the multiple windows is remix's selling point. App compatibility has gone backwards, and it should be improving. With Android N coming Remix won't survive if it can't get multi window right.

What do you mean by flatten keyboard for swiftkey? You can resize it and add the numbers at the top in the swiftkey settings.

You don't understand. The apps already run in fullscreen, but they are either stretched out (for devs who never bothered to create apps that scale according to size or resolution) or displaying content as if the tablet were a small-screen phone (extreme sizes for icons and fonts, tiny or huge or a combination. Maybe there was a problem during the update process. Do you know if there is a way to manually flash 2.0 or the previous 1.5 to try and upgrade again?
About Swiftkey, I've been using that for a while so I know how to resize it and stuff. But this time they keyboard looks like someone too an anvil and dropped it on the keyboard. Full keyboard, split keyboard, small or large, doesn't matter. I really do think something went wrong during my upgrade process.
