[Q] Kindle Fire flashing TWRP logo over and over - Kindle Fire General

Hi, my kindle fire is running CM7 and it is repeatedly flashing the yellow TWRP triangle over and over while plugged in. While not plugged in it does nothing and will not turn on. I tried to hit the power button to go into recovery, with no luck. Also tried to use KF Utilities to change the bootmode, to no luck. Any ideas?

This is typical of a dead battery. Turn your Kindle off and plug it into the wall charger for a while. Afterwards you can issue fastboot commands to change your bootmode.

[Q] TWRP Not Booting

I used the Kindle Fire Utility to root my Kindle Fire, and then I installed TWRP on the device.
When I restart my device though, the yellow caution symbol doesn't display, meaning I can't access TWRP to install my room. Anyone have any solutions/explanations?
Did you turn it off, hit on, then tap the on button again?
Yes sir. It just boots like it normally would into the Kindle Fire UI.
If you are using the latest verison of KFU .0.9.2, it doesn't work. Try using the later versions like 0.9.1, it works on that one for sure.
I'll try that. Thanks for the suggestion shintokun. I'll let you know how it goes.
That did it! Thanks for the solution shintokun!

Kindle Fire TWRP Yellow Triangle bootloop

I rooted my kindle fire with the Kindle Fire Utility. Installed TWRP, and installed the rom - MIUI.us_blaze_4.0.3-2.2.3-alpha_0xD34D. After doing this, I reboot and I am stuck at the Yellow Triangle. If I push the power button to get into TWRP the power button turns orange and is still stuck at the yellow triangle . if I power off and on again , do nothing Windows detects the kindle for a few second and then it disappears and then is detected again and then disappears, so I cannot access the device through ADB ,
Any ideas or do I now have a paper weight instead of a kindle fire
Kindle fire Utility should work even without being recognized (well it did for me after turning on and off 3 times).
Does the device at least get's the firefirefire logo? If so, this is what I did
-Turn your kindle off by holding the power button down for at most 20 seconds.
-Plug kindle into your computer
-Run the unbrick utility
-Turn kindle on
-Wait for the Caution Sign with the fire logo (firefirefire logo)
-Choose first option on utility (Recovery Loop)
-Wait... (a max of 10 minutes)
This should work, if not, try to turn off your kindle on and off, and then try again.

This is what worked for me (I've been tossing this around awhile now, and it even worked for two of my friends).
The link to the unbrick utility is: Here
Mine got stuck on the triangle as well and I thought I was screwed, but appears you are just stuck in fastboot.
What I did was use the KFU (vashypoo has made an awesome utility) and even though it didn't show as recognized when I opened the KFU, I was able to use Option 1 - Bootmode Menu, Then Option 1 - Normal.
My Fire restarted normally after that.
Give it a shot.

Zane had to cycle a couple of times to get it to take.
Are there alternative download links for this utility....I keep downloading it from the site that this site provides and I keep getting viruses or incomplete downloading. I have been trying to unbrick my kindle for weeks and this seems like my last route...
Try this Linux solution. It was the only thing that worked for me.

Solution for This: I had the exact same problem

I had the exact same problem and b63 posted this as a reply. My Kindle was stuck on yellow triangle and was not recognized by ADB. When I tried to boot into twrp the power button turned orange but stayed on the yellow triangle. The thread above is what I used, worked perfectly.
Good Luck!
Kindle Fire Bricked and Windows doesn't recognize it.
First off, thanks for all the development and help in getting the Unbricking utility and the KFU for all of us noobs. I have been searching threads for hours before I decided to post, and I can't find the answer. I rooted with KFU and have TWRP installed. I ran MIUI several months until I decided to try MIUI 4.0 after I flashed 4.0 it rebooted to the yellow triangle and the power turned orange. I ran the unbricking utility and now the light is green, but it won't go any further. When I first plug in the kindle windows recognizes it for a second and then it disappears from the device manager completely. I have updated the driver several times, tried the KFU to get it to boot (4000) and nothing works. if I turn off the kindle and turn it back on KFU and windows will recognize it for a second and reboot it, but then it gets stuck on yellow triangle and never goes anywhere. Then I don't see it in the device manager anymore, not even 'unknown device'.
I did forget and leave the Kindle plugged into the computer while it was flashing MIUI 4.0, I don't know if that would have killed it. I never got a chance to see 4.0 it's been bricked ever since.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'm sorry if this specific situation has been covered anywhere in the forums and I missed it.
Thanks

[Q] Continuous reboot on yellow triangle screen. [Solved]

Hi guys,
I've done a fair amount of reading in this forum today, but I can't seem to find an answer for my situation. I'm working on a co-worker's Kindle Fire. He tried rooting the device, and it obviously failed. I have no idea what he's done thus far.
My problem:
The device does not turn on when it's not plugged in to a computer or power source. (I'm guessing this is due to a dead battery, but I'm not 100% on this. It's charging with a wall charger as I write this.)
When plugged into a PC, the device powers on to the infamous yellow triangle screen that says to "Press the power button to boot into recovery." After being plugged into the PC for about 15-20 seconds, the device will power itself off and then back on. From then on, it will reboot every 10 seconds or so.
I've attempted running KFU to see if it will detect the device before it shuts itself down, but no luck there. I have tried pressing the power button while the triangle screen is present, but it doesn't change the power button LED to red to indicate it's been pressed.
Hopefully I've given enough details to work with. Your help is greatly appreciated.
are you holding the powerbutton.
try holding for 10 seconds it should turn the led orange and boot nto recovery.
i not then hes wiped recovery as well.
not a problem but you need to use fastboot to install a new recovery.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. It turns out that the device had a very very low battery and this was causing the constant rebooting when attempting to get to recovery.
I let the device charge for 30 - 45 minutes, used the KFU to install TWRP. From that point I could flasht the ROM, gapps, and it booted up successfully. CyanogenMod 9 works like charm.
glad to help ...

Please help, anyone! |Bricked|

I would like to start off by saying that I am sorry for posting this, you must get tired of so many posts on bricked fire's. I would really love it if someone could help!My kindle fire has been bricked for about 5 days now and I can't find anything that will unbrick it, I've tried everything within my power (I even bought a factory cable). When i power it on, it is stuck at the stock Kindle Fire logo and my computer does not recognize it at all. This happened after i tried to re-root it through the Kindle Fire Utility. Like I mentioned before, I am sorry if this post is annoying but I would REEEAALLY appreciate if anyone could help!
Do you have twrp installed

Sounds like it is stuck in fastboot a factory cable and the correct drivers should let you change the boot mode

I think that it installed FFF, and was trying to install twrp when it stopped working

I think i did have the right drivers installed, i had the previous one installed (the guide that i used said that it would be fine). And i installed the drivers that came with the KFU
Not annoying per se, but it's in the wrong section.
What does your boot screen look like? The one that shows up as soon as you power on the KF, not when it starts loading a ROM after a few seconds.

As soon as I press the power button, it shows the stock kindle fire boot logo and stays like that untili turn it off.
Plug it in with the factory cable. Make sure it shows as "Android ADB Interface" in the device manager, then flash TWRP 2.1.1 (fastboot flash recovery twrp.img - check the file's hash first), continue with "fastboot oem idme bootmode 5001", then switch to a regular cable and restart the KF (either force it off and then turn it back on, or "fastboot reboot").
If all goes well, it should boot straight into TWRP, from which you can install FFF (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1632375), as well as wipe cache, dalvik-cache and factory reset. Hopefully that'll be enough to get the stock ROM back up, so long as system and boot are fine.

What version were you on before you flashed 5.6.0.1?
