Default Australian Vodafone SGN settings - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 General

Hi everyone
Dont know if anyone else will fine this helpfult but going to post anyways.
A recently call to Vodafone technical support left me in the dark on what the default baseband was from the factory.
Today I was walking past a Vodafone store and saw a display model and managed to snap a photo of the default firmware version settings if anyone was wondering.
Here the photo:http://i1065.photobucket.com/albums/u397/mattyb0711/2012-04-14175029.png
TO get the LB2 baseband again you can view Tids2k forum post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1423396

add stock quote from other countries eg australia

took me forever to find this but could not find anything on the net or in the registry to help but finally found the answer so thought i'd post it here for others. if you want to add a stock to the stock quote tab on your HTC HD for stocks other than the US and Canada you need to put in the stock quote that yahoo.com uses.
To find the stock code go to http://c.finance.a1.b.yahoo.com/ and under market summary chose the region you want so for Australia chose Asia. Under Asia select view more indices and you will see the All Ords symbol is ^AORD. If you use this code when you click add quote in the HTC stock tab it will find the All Ords stock. If you want to add individual stocks click on the Components link on the yahoo page and it will show you the stock codes for all the aussie stocks. eg for Wesfamers the stock code is WES.AX and i think you can pretty much assume the stock code for all AU stocks is "aussie stock.AX". hope this helps others.
i only got this answer by stumbling across this wiki page which showed how to do a currency conversion using the stock tab which is pretty cool as well: http://pocketnow.com/wiki/HTC_Touchscreen_Tips_and_Tricks#news
Thank You very much. This has indeed been useful.
NICE!
Thanks I was very curious about that.

[Q] Address Bar search

Hi guys
My Samsung is the 16 gb version, I bought it on ebay from Germany and it's branded T-mobile of course but I live in Italy.
I noticed a really annoyng thing on my Omnia 7:
I have solved mms and apn problems with samsung's profile app.
When I search something on the URL bar in internet explorer the results shown are in italian, but on the top there's a T-mobile logo upon google's and in the url bar appears google.de
Ok it's not a big problem but, is there any way to change this?
Solved
I've flashed a new Firmware!
Could you help with a step by step guide please?
Edit: Nevermind, I did it... That's great, no more T-Mobile crap!

[Q] Screensaver change

Hey, there
is there a way to change the default screensaver on the optimus 7 or completely disable it? I'm going crazy over this one - i can't find anything in the settings.
Ok, after a little snooping around i found out it's actually a demo phone (hence the annoying promo screensaver) - meaning that it has a demo version of windows phone 7. So I got myself properly ripped.
Have a nice day lads.
You can flash the phone..... there are freshly released Official roms in the developer forum, I flashed mine yesterday night because was with Vodafone Italy but I have Telecom Italia Mobile.... the flash is really simple to do and safe, if you need a detailed procedure I can post it here because the one at this page is kind of bad explained....

Incorrect week number

S planner shows wrong week number. Any way to correct this?
In my case, changing language from English (US) to English (UK) fixed this (!). Looks to me like a bug, especially since I am dealing with Intel US doing patch install planning, it is very frustrating!
yes, came across the same issue on I9300 running kitkat, thanks for the tip
