If you can get the phone to me , I can try and recover it for you.. if you cant do it yourself. ( im local to you)
Just to be sure, you are pressing both volume buttons plus the power button to try to get to a pink screen? Sometimes you have to keep these pressed for a few seconds before the device responds.

I just updated my ZTE Blade running CM7 RC3 to CM 7.0.2 using Rom Manager and now it just continuously "reboots" aka 'back key' led is red, then Android Logo is shown for about 4 seconds then all black, and this loops forever.
Pressing Menu & Vol+ on powering on doesn't do anything .
Any Help appreciated.
Thank you.

Got it too. Did you check your version of the phone (Gen1 or Gen2)? Since CM 7.0, releases are made for Gen2 and have to be converted with a specific tool for working with Gen1 phone. I have a Gen1 phone which explained why I got this looping reboot after flash of latest 7.0.2. Managed to get back to a functional ROM by accessing Clockwork.

I was still able to access Clockwork. Did you try putting the battery off and back and then retry?
Keep us up to date on that.
Could you just briefly explain how you got to access Clockwork? Maybe I'm doing something wrong... when do you press the keys? Do you hold them? What should happen then?
Thx again.

Volume DOWN + Power
While maintaining vol- power up the phone and wait before Clockwork shows up before releasing the Vol- button.
Then follow this...

if stuck on bootloop go to recovery and wipe data..
you can use cwm to wipe system and data and root/flash a custom rom
or you can use odin to flash stock rom (see dokys thread at top of dev section for firmware)
my device isnt rooted so i believe i cannot do the cwm method?

no, u can go into recovery without rooting
Steps:
1. Power off ur mobile
2. press volume up + home + power buttons
when u r in recovery the touch screen is disabled so u should use
volume up/down button to scroll up/down
power button to go back
home button to select

Hi all,
I think I am in some serious trouble right now.. I tried to flash the latest carbon ROM on my device, but completely
forgot to flash the kernel.
I cannot connect to my device using adb (really can't remember if i didn't enable it, been flashing a couple of ROMS tonight ).
I can however, use fastboot.. But what use is that? Can I somehow restore or get to my recovery?
Any help is appreciated!!
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Thanks for the fast reply, but I can't get to recovery.. I've already tried this several times..
Any other suggestions?
EDIT:
It just hangs in black screen, and doesn't get any further when I try this.

If you got to the hard reset screen and pressed power two times but could not get to recovery, its possible that you no longer have any recovery (CWM or TWRP). In some roms, a recovery image is sometimes flashed overwriting the recovery image that you previously installed.
Best bet may be is get back to stock. Try this thread, hope it helps.

to access the CWM you have to hold down volume up and down, home button, and power button. once the phone vibrates once, stop pressing the power button. keep holding the other buttons until it goes to CWM.

What exactly is your phone model ? E610 12 12F ... ? I have the 12F so need to flash the E610 unlocked bootloader, not the E612's.

hello, I'm no longer on CM10.2 so can't really help you. Try CM11, I find it pretty cool even if it's still in BETA 3.
Btw do you use Snapchat ? because video recording isn't working on my phone don't know why :/
Hi, I have a Galaxy S4 i9505 running TWRP 3.0.2-0 jfltexx. I am having a problem where TWRP won't boot up when using the key combination of Volume UP + Home + Power, it will show up with the Galaxy S4 screen then at the top left corner it will show kernel not seandroid enforcing, recovery booting. Then it will boot to a black screen and then after 3 seconds it will vibrate and boot into android like it normally does. However on Flashify (Android App for flashing) I click the 'Reboot to Recovery' Button it boots into TWRP and it runs like a charm.
Android is running completely fine, stock 5.0.1.
Help will be appreciated.
UPDATE : SOLVED, Thanks to @QueryVillain
Solution :
1) Volume up + Power button while device is off
2) As soon as you see something in upper left corner, release both buttons and you will be booted to recovery
Try TWRP 2.87 to see if you still have the same problem.

Sorry for the late reply, but ok i'l try it out.
The actual key combo is volume up + power button. Home button is not necessary.

I flashed TWRP 2.8.7.0 and i'm having the exact same issue, just a black screen then about 3 to 5 seconds in, it will vibrate and show Galaxy S4 screen and boot to android.
Similar behaviour started to happen to me after flashing new bootloader via ODIN, but instead of booting to Android, my phone just turns off. At first I thought recovery got overwritten, but I still could boot into it from Android restart menu
What works for me:
1) Volume up + Power button while device is off
2) As soon as you see something in upper left corner, release both buttons and you will be booted to recovery

Normally, while trying to get into recovery, you hold the buttons until it vibrates and then release.
If you don't release the buttons (the power button especially), the phone will turn off at some point.
