[Q] Stock rom - Galaxy Tab 7.7 General

Hi all. I'm in Western Australia and I bought a tab 7.7 GT-6810 a few weeks back, a great piece of gear. Its build number is HTJ85B P6810DTKL5 and it is rooted. I would like to know if the rom version I have is the latest one. Thanks

I bought it in Kosovo, seems it comes from Macedonia
The most common way is to install Samsungs Kies and do an firmware update in the program. This will check automatically whether an update is available for you.

Gingerbread update in S Korea

Got a text from my phone provider Friday that an updatr for the HD video was available, and also Gingerbread OS. Problem is the friend who translated it for me was not sure if the update was for the Tab or Galaxy S.
I will have access to my computer and KIES tonight and will post back here if it is ready or not.
Sent from my SHW-M180S using XDA App on the bus traveling home, lol!
Sorry everyone, but after updating my Tab it just says :
Firmware version: 2.2.1
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9 [email protected] #1
Build number: FROYO.EC12
Also when I connected to KIES it said the old was:
Current: PDA: EB22/ PHONE: EB18
NEW: PDA: EC12/ PHONE: EC09
So it loks like my friend was right and the update to GB was for the Galaxy S phone only. Makes sense as the S II was released this weekend, as well as the iPad2.
Sorry to get everyone's hopes up, but maybe this will be of some use to someone.

Need to know Australian Firmware Version - please help

Hi All,
I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 16GB WIFI/3G from JBHIFI. I rooted it and I now want to return it to stock for warranty I know how to do it but I dont know what version firmware the Australian Galaxy Tab 10.1 uses.
Can someone who bought their Galaxy Tab 10.1 from Australia please share their firmware version number with me? I can then try to find somewhere to download it.
This will allow me to restore it to stock. Thanks for your help!
If you flash any 3.2 release via Odin you will be as stock as it can be
Doubt they will know which one is Australian version and no way of proving you did it via Odin
I recommend the kl1 version as it's the best
Just Google samfirmware

[Q] International GT-19505 Android 4.3 Update file

Hi all.
I currently have an international (Australia) Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-19505 running on:
4.2.2
Baseband: I9505XXUMBG4
Build: JDQ39.I9505XXUBMG4
Kernal: 3.4.0-1029328
Apparently, for my network carrier (optus), the Jellybean 4.3 update isn't being released until January sometime. Me, being the impatient kind, would like it now.
Would I9505XXUEMK8 be suitable for my optus handset? Does anyone here have the file on hand which is suitable for my S4?
Thanks heaps

I dont recommend flash new firmware coz ur brand still without updates for android 4.3. Always is better wait. But if ur impatient and u wanna try HERE is the latest version android 4.3 for Australia Unbranded. But Im not responsible if ur phone lose signal or bootloop or the world war. Tc about this :fingers-crossed:
EDIT: In Optus webpage they tell u will receive Android 4.3 at early to Mid January
I'm using the unbranded aus firmware with no issues at and it works well with optus and telstra

Hi,
What model of phone do you have? The LTE SM-N9005? If so (and I hope someone could either second this or correct me if i'm wrong) I believe you could flash via odin (and you do not need to be rooted to do this) the lollipop update that O2 has. 5.0 is available for the UK via the sammobile website, so if the basebands remain the same and the phone is the same model, I believe you could just download the 5.0 update from sammobile and flash it via odin.
Since you would be flashing an official version of sammy's rom, you won't need to be rooted, nor have a custom recovery.
Cheers

so, you are using the sm-n9005, and the firmware u have is the same one as the firmware that the 02 UK version runs in 4.4.2.
Unless I'm mistaken, and if anyone sees I am please correct me, you could flash the 5.0 version with odin for o2 UK. I don't see why it wouldn't work, since it seems you have the same phone and firmware currently in 4.4.2
cheers

Your device is using of UK (with CSC: BTU). It still without Lollipop update. I recommend don't flash via ODIN any firmware and wait for future updates (via OTA) if you aren't rooted.
