If you can't find a cf-root to work with your fw (check it out here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788108) you can try to flash another fw on which cf-root works.
I hope this info helps you.
Cheers !

Hello everyone
I have bricked my Note 3
and successfully recovered it from a guide on this site which install this build N9005XXUENA6
the problem is The guide said To download a Custom rom like SWEETROM v7 Or echoeRom v7 which works on NA6!!
sadly all the links are expired !
please if u can suggest another ROM or give me another link for these Roms it will be appreciated !
You bricked your phone and have recovered it .
Then i would say leave it as it is .
My guess is you used a very old guide that points to very old roms .

The Boot Loader is from 4.4.2 Leaked NA6 based rom
from this guide

if anyone can give SweetRom v7 NA6 please
If you hvae a old 4.4.2 bootloader and did not read the UPDATE THE BOOTLOADER section in the manuals..... then you really should listen to @Proton Pig. Installing a Custom ROM is not a easy and secure thing to do and if you have problems in understanding manuals regarding that then you should keep the official ROM. If the phone is dead then install Samsung Kies and start the phone in d/l mode to make it fix it for ya. With some luck you even get a newer MODEM AND BL by doing so. (I never ever did use Kies btw, so I might be wrong here, this is my 3rd Android phone + some work based tech skillz made me ignore the customer stuff and do my own thing)
Hey guys ..
I need a real help here.. since I'd neither rooted a phone nor installed a custom ROM before.. Its also my first thread here in xda
and I'm now about to do so with a used "Note 3 N9005" which I've bought recently.. now I want to install the "Phronseis latest Note 5 Marshmallow ROM port"
knowing that this device condition now is "Official and not rooted" with the latest official Lollipop 5.0 from Samsung via OTA update.. and the Knox is tripped showing "0x1 (4)" in the bootloader..
My problem now is that when I've read the step by step guide of the installation process I found myself lost because of some terms that I have no idea about which made me afraid of messing the things up or bricking the phone :crying:.. for example they talked about the "kernel" and I don't know if I could just ignore this part and go through the steps resulting in installing that ROM with the stock kernel??
and all that brings other questions to my mind :
1-what exactly should I do to get this phone from this official state to the desired one?
2-what about the battery life and screen on time? will it be affected by that ROM or the kernel that going to be used with it??
3-will I be able to go back to official state anytime later by flashing the official Kitkat ROM with Odin for example?
4-will this thing change my IMEI or CSC and if it does will it be irreversible?
Any help is appreciated but please there is no room to give "opinions".. because in my condition I need "facts" :good:..
Thank you in advance
A rom has instructions start by reading them .
You can revert to stock by flashing via Odin.
Facts there are a number of faqs and stickies.
Opinion unless you understand the basics flash nothing.

Rule 1 backup EFS
Rule 2 read the instructions .
Rule 3 Understand the instructions .
Regarding the rom you want to flash all the details re kernel etc are in the OP page 1.

Hey,so I have the Note 3 HLTE and I need NEE since I live in scandinavia and I need the baseband and BootLoader and there is alot of new things since back in 2013 or so I flashed and tested out several AOSP ROMS including PacMan,RR,Carbon and others. So I have gone stock android 5.0 for close to 3-4years now and I watched a newly updated URL on the net about the best and newest ROMs that are based on android 9.0 and 10.0 and I found the Havoc Rom pretty interesting.
But there are so much to delve into, and I kinda forgot the process in order to Root from installing Odin, picking the CSC,BL,AP to installing TWRP to installing Custom ROMs. So I need a step by step guide on how to do this. I used to use the SuperSU app,but found out Magiska stops even more. I have also downloaded the GAPP pico and nano.
I have installed Odin 3.13.1, had to get a stock SAM 5.0 android FW image, managed to find the PIT file in case, and I'm using this and I'm thinking this is the correct to use; N9005XXUGBNL8_CL3643614_QB3415922. If not please redirect me to the correct one. So I think I have all that I need, but I'm not sure.
I have found several guides here on XDA and read them when it comes to the ROM installation, outside of XDA and a updated YT video that has been updated in 2020,but they are different in the step-by-step and so I dont know which to follow.
So I need somone who is kind enough to guide and write down step by step on how to flash with Odin, TWRP via Odin and the Custom ROMs. THe installing of Custom ROMs I have no problems to do. But I need the correct order so I dont brick my phone or bootloop it.
Kind regards
Anders
Odin and flash
TWRP Recovery as per version required by each rom .
Flash Custom rom as per that roms instructions .
CSC NA
BL NA unless instructed to update .Likewise baseband/ modem
CSC BL AP are for stock rom Odin flashing not custom .
