How do I install twrp recovery?
Sent from my Pyramid using Tapatalk
Well no let me change the question which recovery is better, trwp or cwm? And which can flash all the roms?
Sent from my Pyramid using Tapatalk
They are about the same, j prefer clockworkmod recovery because it has more options, cleaner layout, etc. Ice never used twrp, but many beginners say that it is nice. To flash twrp clockwormod, you can use the kindle fire utility or this option that u dint need a computer.

Download the ROM again and md5sum check it to make sure it is not corrupted then install it. It looks like you had a corrupted ROM.

Okay so like many of you cwm isn't sticking and when I go into recovery I just have the Google logo, I want to flash ROMs so installed ROM manger and found that if you boot into recovery through that app you can get into cwm.
Would like some advice on which is the best and safest method you have used! Thanks

i assume so, since i use it over and over and over again. anyways, theres a file you have to remove or rename in the /system/ fs that causes the recovery to not stick. most custom roms already have it removed, stock rom you have to remove it. the file is recovery-from-boot.p, rename it or remove it and your recovery will stick(at least twrp, cwm should also).

Flash twrp, then find a zip file with the recovery you want and flash that? Or buy flash image GUI from play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joeykrim.flashimagegui sounds like that does what you're looking for

hi ive just unrooted and re-locked my n7 to watch skygo but its still saying its not supported on rooted devices, anyone else getting this
Are you sure you're unrooted? Check for superuser.apk in /system/app and su in /system/xbin. Delete them if you find them. You will need ADB to do this since you aren't rooted.

You can still use the apps with superuser installed. Just change the superuser apk to any name then check disable superuser in superuser setting. It should work.
Then re-enable when you require root function.

Yes I had exactly the same issue.....I run multirom now so that I can just boot into a factory clean unrooted rom. It works like a charm!!!! Multirom also shares the kernel from your main internal rom with the factory Rom.........

Just use 'TVCatchup'. It works better. Sky are stupid and don't want to support rooted devices. No idea why, has no effect on them.
CatchupTV is good but skygo contains loads more channels and now there is a sky movies app......Can watch football on sky sports on the nexus while the wife watches The only way is Essex..........phewwwww
