I got a new g-note but didnt get it rooted....i want to use mobile odin and my laptop isnt workin....is there any solution on how do we root note on gingerbread 2.3.6..??.....

You cannot use Mobile Odin on a non-rooted phone.
The easiest way to root GB is this:

However, you need PC Odin for the procedure. Borrow a laptop from somebody
and be on your merry way.
I knw that mobile odin wont wrk without root that is y i asked for instructions on rooting GB.....thnx anywayzz.....

thanks chasmodo for the link... i have been waiting for a link to a pre-rooted ROM kernel for a while now.. mine is the newer version (LC2) that is not directly rootable using CF-root from Dr Ketan's guide.
i only have one question... since the pre-rooted ROM uses pc-odin it doesn't have CWMR and since i do not have mobile-odin i can't use the CF-root kernel to flash CWMR right? Is there any way i can get CWMR installed via different means?

have a look in the dev section theres a sticky about rooting
Is rooting the p7500 the same method as rooting the p7510 as mentioned in the 10.1 sticky
I tried, yes and no.
CWM Recovery was install correctly, however the root.zip installed su, but not able to allow root apps to use it. So no root.

It does work, you flash the recovery either the touch, version 6 from pershoots CM10 git hub repository, or version 5.5 in the how to root thread. Then just flash the zip file to root, i had to do it again this morning as i lost root when flagging a new firmware via mobile Odin.
It will work just fine.
Swyped from my finger to your face, on my Samsung Galaxy Note.
So I have Samsung galaxy 3 GT-I5800 running froyo 2.2. I rooted him 1 year ago I after some time I try to unroot him and it didnt worked. Now when I try to root him again it says that my phone isnt rooted but it cant root him again (in process of unrooting I deleted a app or text called su.)

Maybe because its updated to froyo. Try to use another way of rooting for froyo only perhaps.
Try the stock rom to see if that helps
