my phone is currently locked to Orange and i'm trying to get a GiffGaff (O2) sim to work. i originally thought having a rom on there unlocks it but i dont think it does.
i've heard the cyanogenmod doesnt have the security screen so i can't unlock it when i type in the 2945#*540# etc.. can anyone help me with recommending me a rom that will have the security screen on it? would prefer flash boot since KDZ update program and Recovery dont work for me for some reason. (i also have the problem of no lg logo, blank screens on recovery start up, i did find something to help on that but it doesnt work, KDZ just crashes when i start flashing)

Does not work on my Typhoon. After flash i got only blinking white screen, but bootloader works fine and i back to Aleut ROM.

A bit of a side topic I know, but I dont need to run "Hard-SPL-V2" anymore?
Everytime I flash back to the original cruise rom, then I just flash the new rom?, is this normal?, do you only have to run Hard-SPL-V2 once only?
I used Hard-SPL-V2 about 10 flashes back when my cruise radio went down, fixed via Radio_Murata_PPAS_1.58.21.23, and now I dont need to use Hard-SPL-V2?

UPDATE: just realised...I dident need to flash the Radio_Murata_PPAS_1.58.21.23 after updating to this rom, yippee..

once you hard spl you do not have to do that step any longer.

for first time my polaris is frozen with this version..i dont know why???i ll try to flash again

MMS works fine for me. Overall, ROM appears great. No apparent problems to date.

why is the error report still in the rom? its allways in his roms can't figure out why, and Get Started should be gone too!
Well,for those who wanted the original ROM,here u go....The ROM is basic as it comes in the device...ive taken snaps and the applications ive installed are available with me and not loaded in the ROM...the ROM is fast,but ive added OMAP CLOCK PLUS to increase the clockspeed to 276 MHz....till now i am having no problem with this ROM and hope no one complains too....
It contains all the features a Stock ROM would have...At start-up,i have 34-35% memory usage.ROM version is 1.35.720.2 WWE.

Ya but better keep it out of the ROM...let it be a custom install...Don't want to any one to complain...and if its a OC ROM,u cant e1 warn any1 to flash it on their own risks...i mean no 1 will flash with the fear of doing sumthing wrong...Also there are reports that the OC ROM by Pajerm[Beta 2] couldn't be installed,but the Non OC did well...so think twice and execute decisions...

Just reset the device from the bootloader mode(the tricolor screen) or reflash the WM 6.1 from the forum...to follow the reflashing process,download the .nbh from the forums and then put that file(after extracting) into the installation package...then simply enter the rom update utility(RUU) and then follow the on screen instructions thereby...best of luck...again,if u find this difficult,do post your grievances.

No there aren't any problems.
I tried your Rom
Dude I tried it.
It has a Bug,when you use YouTube app,strange noise comes in middle and sound goes off.
Then you have to restart the device to Bring back the Sound.
But Speed and Stability are Fantastic.Hats Off

The thing is I never used the YouTube app as I wasn't much into it.also, I kept it simple although yes, the YouTube thing is a stock app. So it is likely that after a year of release, you have found out some bugs but as per today, I am sure I am not developing anything for opal.

Hi I have tried this rom which you put up, but it goes into a bootloop (shows android for a second). Did it actually boot into android for you? If yes, can you do this, and then create a CWM backup, and share the backup? If I can install the backup, then I'll definintely help with improving the android experience.

yes, but with some issue.
wifi work if for browsing on chrome, but for other it is not.do not know why

And i see my home and back button dont work.
I try to restart But nothing help
Use the leedroid rom oreo.
I dont use a screen protector , i dont have change anything.
Sometimes The buttons blink.
How to solved this problem?

i had this problem too with leedroid but not all the time. I just reflash the stock rom and it's good now.

If you have OTA file update to 8.0 or system dump. i can make a version stock rooted for you.
