Rooted, But no Rom/Fireware! - Kindle Fire General

I rooted my Kindle Fire the other day.
After root, I did a Factory Reset from within the Kindle Fire original firmware.
But now device only boots into TWRP. Pressing the power button (letting go while light is still green) does not allow device to boot into Stock Firmware. Device boots itself into TWRP
How do I get the Stock Firmware back?

Nevermind...
I use KFU to boot the device into Normal mode. Which seems to have resolved the issue. So sorry for the useless post.

So are you still rooted after factory reset and may i ask why you decided to factory reset.

[Q] TWRP is no longer on KF?

I did a restore using TWRP, I flashed back to stock root, no rom or anything. Restore went fine, but my device rebooted and started to do an update, I don't know what it was updating but I tried to stop it by turning it off. I shut it off, restarted and it continued to install an update, I got the KF splash screen. It finished and my KF loaded up fine, still have Burrito-Root and SU. But for some reason that Fire logo doesn't come up anymore, so I can't get into TWRP recovery? How did I lose recovery if I just restored a backup?
Do I have TWRP just need to fix something? Or do I have install TWRP all over again? If so, what's the easiest way to do that?
Thanks guys...
I would say using a gscript is probably the easiest way. Check out the dev section.

I just returned my other fire back to non root by just putting 6.2.2 back onto it. In the process rebooted fff uninstalled and so did twrp. Just reroot reinstall fff and then reinstall twrp.

Soft Bricked

So I just installed the CM10 nightly ROM from the original development thread, and after rebooting after starting up the ROM once, it won't let me boot up.
It sits at the CM boot screen and loops until it's battery is dead. I also cannot get into recovery. I can get to the bootloader, but I can't adjust anything past the start in the top right. I also can't connect it to my computer anymore due to the fact that ADB isn't on.
What do I do??
Fastboot flash stock imgs?
Clear your /data and to be safe wipe system cache and dalvik then reflash cm10. It happened to me too...
If all fails flash back to stock as suggested above.

flashed to stock rom from CM9; now endless errors/reboot7

I received my new Nexus 7 today (although I'll be sending it back for RMA replacement due to defective/blown speakers, but that's another discussion) and wanted to revert my Kindle Fire to stock to give to my parents. I had been previously running a vanilla build of CM9.
I downloaded Amazon's latest software update, renamed it update.zip, and copied it to my device. Using TWRP, I installed the update, wiped cache and dalvik. My Kindle rebooted (now without FireFireFire bootloader/recovery), however, once it starts I get multiple error messages as follows:
android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly
com.android.providers.calendar has stopped unexpectedly
My only options are to force quit. Still, even if I don't touch the device and let it be, it will reboot itself withing a minute or so. There must be something amiss with how I went back to stock.
Any help with getting the device back into some working form? Or am I out of luck?
Nevermind; i managed to get FireFireFire and TWRP back on. Now to look for an edited Amazon ROM or perhaps a jellybean/CM10 rom...
when flashing the stock rom from cm9, you should do a full wipe ( system, factory reset, cache, dalvik) in TWRP

Try to root it again with KFU, and then redownload and reflash the update. Or turn your kindle completely off and then, in KFU, press install TWRP, and then turn your Kindle back on, and see if it can get into fastboot and install TWRP. Then turn it off, open off KFU, and press install FFF. Now turn it back on, and see if it installs FFF. If so, then just redownload and reflash the update.zip
Or install GR9 Modaco.

managed to install FireFireFire and TWRP during the brief window before the device rebooted. and thanks for the suggestion of GR9 Modaco

Help! Updated while rooted, stuck in TWRP

So I am fairly new to rooting and didn't know that it's not a great idea to do an OTA update while you're rooted. So I did just that and when prompted to restart the phone, it did and loaded directly in to TWRP. I tried to just reboot from there and it kept going back to TWRP. So I tried to recovery from a backup, same thing, right back to TWRP. Also, I can't get into download mode. What do I do?

This should help. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451696
You need to first download the kdz and lg flash utility with drivers.
Install drivers
The factory reset deleting system, cache, internal sd.
Then shutdown your g2.
Start to downloaded mode connecting your g2
Flash kdz & voila... Done
I too bricked my phone before. My flashing stuck at 49%. Recovered using above method, all is well now
This works 1000%. I bet on it. Just remember to wipe the phone completely before flashing. You will return to stock with unrooted status in download mode. U will have your warranty back too

Fire HD 10 (2017) Tablet refuses to go into recovery mode...

I just rooted the device only to find that the recovery mode no longer works on this device, I think I may have flashed the recovery partition with a wrong img file and now it boots into fire os just fine, But the recovery mode is no longer working. Any tips would be helpful at this point. I've tried using the backup that I did prior to flashing the recovery, but nothing seems to be working.

you are going to have to flash back to stock with the latest FireOS or find the same version you are on now and flash that. There's no guarantee that will work. I'm surprised you could even get the device to boot at all. So I'm not sure what you did but you shouldn't have even been able to flash recovery. So please describe the steps you took during this whole process.
