I think you can fixed that by flashing firmware...
download odin, put .md5 in PDA
boot your device to download mode
connect it to your pc
when you see added in odin click start

I saw in Google I/o their releasing android L image to nexus 5 and nexus 7 2013. So our nexus will not receive I presume..
The device tree has been updated so I think that we're getting L officially. You may wanna check the threads in the General section. And if you are satisfied by their answers and participate in that discussion please ask a moderator to close this thread.
