Buggy rom update,

Hey guys, just updated to CM005 of rachts, and my middle button, is unusable, not even to hold in.
What should I do?

I think it's not a bug, the launcher doesn't support the "middle button" as an action to app drawer.. xD

Entertainment Center not working on .91

Anyone try connecting to tv using HDMI without the dock? In Froyo the entertainment center used to open. In 2.3.4 nothing happens and there is no app to launch it...???

Make sure you give the phone an extra reboot and try. That's what fixed mine.

I just tried a factory reset and I still cannot get the entertainment center to open. Can someone please try and let me know if it works. Prefer someone who is stock 2.3.4 to test. Thanks!

Just checked mine,works fine. Guess you might have to try the gb and that was put up on the site tonight.

3D panorama. Can't find it?

Ive flashed to the Nordic 2.3.4 and I can find the 3D Panorama. Is it not availableon the play?

It won't install. It says application installing for 2 or 3 seconds and then says application not installed

same.. probably since it's supposed to be a system file.. well i dunno exactly why it won't install..

i think there should be a way to hard put it in your system
system/app might be worth a try...though who knows
i think ADB should fixit!
EDIT: moving it to system/app wont cut it,tried

with permissions set to 644?

How do you set them to that?

i haven't actually got this working since i'm kinda busy with work.. jeez..
anyway, instead of going through terminal again, you can just use Root Explorer to mount the system/app as R/W then set the permissions for the apk to rw-r--r-- like all the others.. that would be read and write for user, and read only for both group and others..

Need help flashing ics rom

My track pad doesnt seem to work but im able to use it to scroll, when i click nothing happens . How can i flash a rom in cwm without track pad?

What are you running? To my knowledge that would just be a bug with the ROM and won't affect CWM

I'm running synergy but I'm pretty sure its a hardware problem .

Either fix the hardware or use a touchrecovery. But if you don't want to pay for those options just flash via fastboot

Ext4 touch is free, on this forum
And ah yeah if it's hardware that's a problem :/ although I think some recoveries used to use the power button to select

Power button is the default for selection in cwm on all devices. We can use track pad because we have one.

Weird bug !

My screen will not go of and i set the screen time out to 15 seconds. Smartstay is off.
Anybady have the sam issue??? Reboot willk fix for a short time then it comes back again.

Have you tried turning smartstay on and off again.
Also try playing with smart rotate too.

Maybe some background process keeping it alive? just installed some new program?

Have you condisered root the device and put a custom rom..? I haven't had that issue it seems to be a software issue, maybe give a custom rom a try. Or factory reset the device.
