In search of a file explorer which is beautiful and simplistic, I found this awesome app called solid explorer..
Its in alpha stage yet I find it fit for daily use.. Its definitely an eye candy and at the same time its butter smooth..
You will find many features which are not present in any of the file explorer.. and I am very much sure that you guys gonna love it..

This one looks very way, but too solid for me. I can refer to INKA FILE EXPLORER. Is simple but hasy many fuctions with nice view.
ES File Explorer does pretty well for me.
Root Explorer foreverrrrrrrrrrr!
I use the "Xplorer" filme manager.. so small, fast and smooth!

Testing...
I will test this file explorer and give feedback.
Approved
After a week of testing I can only say that this file manager is excellent. Intuitive interface and "clean" (not like apps very colorful) great options organization of files and without bugs. Congratulations to the developers and hope to continue improving the manager does not know how, but try = D
I find root browser/root explorer(root browser is a litle simpler(read:neater)) good for advanced functions and oi file manager best for simple day to day usage
ES FileExplorer
I got introduced to this recently. It has a simple, crisp usage design and also the navigation across the filesystems, uptill the root makes it a lovely tool for tweaking or exploring system files.
ES file explorer and Astro file manager are my favorites and works well for me
I use the most simplest file manager really light and good looking on ics : OI file manager

Root Explorer is a great file manager. With useful options.
X-plore! Kinda ugly UI, but the app is innovative
Just wait

Simply unzip the content to any folder, but the /resources folder and underneath files must be copied to root.
Instructions
After startup, click the top right corner cross or press the DPAD to quit.
Some demos will have different effect when tap the screen, just try it.
Enjoy!
Will try it out immediately!
As you can see in my sign I'm currently using Panosha ShineOn 1.6 ROM on my Diamond. I don't know if he changed any drivers or so in his ROM, but I can only initiate tutorial 1 + 2.
EDIT: ok, yeah... misread the instructions. Had to put it on the root on the storage card, not the internal memory.
Only 1 and 2 work.
Some do Nothing at all
Some give openGL ES init error.

If you can only run 1 & 2, make sure you have copied the folder \resources including the underneath files to root.
Amazing work.. Looks great. The resource should be on the root of the device and not the storage card.
Really nice, great work
Interesting,
on the last test (7) (as pictured in your first post) I get a FPS rating of 74/75

Windows Mobile does not seem to have a concept of "current working directory" when launching an application. It's pretty annoying.
I work around this using the following:
public static string CurrentWorkingDirectory
{
get
{
return Path.DirectoryName(Assembly.GetExecutingAssembliy().GetName().CodeBase);
}
}
Then use that directory to build relative directories...

Hey, I made a program with you can resize APKs faster than ever. I haven't got much idea how to test it so I'm giving to you to test and report!
It's coded in VB. NET, which is pretty easy langauge, and source can be found at github.com/galaxyfreak/APK_Resizer. Just click download as zip in corner
It supports : MDPI, HDPI, XHDPI and LDPI.
What it actually does:
1) Extracting the APK to C:\temp
2) Taking highest existing resolution
3) Resizing PNGs and put it in new folder 'drawable-<targetresolution>'
4) Packing new APK named 'resized_<originalname>' at same folder as original APK
5) Deletes C:\temp
Test it and feel free to report and problems.

WTF? This is an Windows tool. You mean for onboard resizing? I don't think so. You can't program Android apps in VB.NET (basic4android is poor)
Yes, of course you can resize on Android.
Not possible ATM though.

Just booted up with it. Looks sweet!
So how am I being stupid?
Open link in Chrome and it takes me to all the images. Without any ability to just grab the file.
Open the link in Next and I have the option to open with Drive. In Drive it opens to the two folders and the desc.text file, I extract them to my sdcard, select them all and zip them into bootanimation.zip move them to system/media and change the permissions. However, when I check properties it shows up as rdx-r, click change and it shows they are set rw-r-r, what the heck am I doing wrong?

This is really nice, definitely going to use it. Is it just a resize of lower resolution images, or could the original developer actually make it in the higher resolution images?

I love the design of the animation and installed it successfully, but in my eyes it looks a little soft.
Perhaps because its source is lower resolution...
It would be so cool to have this animation in full screen resolution, but i think this is not easy to get.

That happens when the tool is unable to extract a (single) SVG path from your file. Is there any chance you could send me that SVG file?
Ideally if you open your image with a text editor you should get a structure similar to this:
Code:
<svg ...>
<path ... />
</svg>
Nice work! This seems to be really great and look forward to using it. :good:
Absolutely awesome!!

Nice Work.. But..

Yep, it's open source https://github.com/Maddoc42/Android-Material-Icon-Generator
And yes, you may use it for your Android apps. Only thing to look out for in case you take one of the Google Icons is their license which is CC-BY (they don't require you to give attribution though).

If you are referring to this ICO file format then I'm afraid the tool does not generate those at the moment. If you are looking for this feature please feel free to open an issue on GitHub such that we can discuss the details
Here is both PNG and SVG files in my Drive..
I converted this PNG file to SVG file from the website(image.online-convert.com/convert-to-svg).
Then i uploaded it in your website and when i press the download button, i got unknown file type downloading and also i tried your icons in the website too.
That too, downloads the unknown file type..

Is your original image a PNG? If so then the icon generator won't be able to create any shadows for it, since the image conversion link you mentioned most likely simply places the raw PNG inside an SVG container, without extracting any paths from the original PNG. The icon generator only works on SVG paths, as it uses those to calculate how the shadow should fall.
