Rooted and flashed FFF & clockwork onto my GF's new refurb kindle. What would be the recommended rom to use for her until HW acceleration works for CM9? She wants to be able to access her purchased games via play store + hulu/netflix access.

You can downgrade without problem. Just use busybox installer from the market.

I recommend the one by JRummy... it provides more options as to available version and a check box to create symlinks... and it works

I'm trying to download a game, but I installed ICS (latest kang) and obviously it's thinking I'm running 4.0.1 and the game won't run on this. Is there a way to edit build.prop or any other file so I can buy the game before the rebate ends.

Yup exactly and I know it's not my phone since my GF has the same, but hers is running stock android.
did you change LCD density
Only time I have issues with incompatible apps is when I mess with density and set to 210
Default is 240

Do a backup in CWM and install a GB rom, buy the app and restore your ICS rom in CWM. The long but sure way to get there..

Have you tried to browse to market.android.com on your PC and buy it there? Yesterday I couldn't buy an app on my phone, for me it worked that way.
you're lucky....at least your phone has a reason to think it's not compatible....I'm running stock 2.3.4 and I get that error message for at least 75% of the apps in the market....including gmail, etc. It's obnoxious!!!

It thinks you're running 4.0.1? If you are running ICS euroskank kang you ARE running 4.0.1....

2: will overclocking increase the stability of mupen64 emulator?

If you're not sure, it's locked. You gotta unlock it and flash a custom kernel.

can someone provide me with sim toolkit apk and install instructions? i have tried pushing the apk to /system/app and fixing permisions to rw.r.r and its not in my appdraw. im on 4.0.4. rom infinitum lbr 1.0. kernel devil.

im using infinitum lbr1.1.1. i want simtoolkit cuz i thought it has the option to see how much my bill is. the features i think vary on the carrier. my friend for example has this app and it shows the cost of his phone bill

but i have the apk, i have pushed ut to /system/app, edited the permisions, rebooted. but still it doesent appear in my app draw!

I think it won't work since no ics rom supports it.

So I installed chainfire then wanted to install the driver but i stunk on the boot screen,and i cant remove the battery,what can i do? I mean how can I make it work? (I had to re-flash the rom because of this...) IUs there any way to make it work? I want to play tegra and adreno only games

I don't follow him on twitter but I am using chainfire 3d on the p3113. The only thing I can't use is night mode and it is of no use to me anyway. I am however using the paid version but that shouldn't have anything to do with being able to install it.
