To those people who purchased the Note from 1saleaday.com

Just to let you know, some people have said 1saleaday.com was a shady dealer, but just got a tracking number from them and my Note is shipped out! I hope it comes in pristine new condition. Please post here if it has shipped out for you and what condition it is in when you receive it. At least they shipped mine out on day 5 of their usual 5 business days.

I ordered a bluetooth from them and it took 5 e-mails, a complaint with the bbb, and a paypal claim to get a tracking number. Then i got it, a month later, in a plastic bag and the bluetooth has refurbished stamped on it. This was about 6 months ago so i hope that they cleaned up their act. Sounds like they did, but you have to watch and make sure that they dont send you a refurb.

Just got my ups tracking number for my white gnote today after a full week. I was starting to get worried. How much did you grab yours for and what color?

Is this for the white galaxy note that was $585? I canceled my order because they were taking too long, "processing" for a whole week.
I re-ordered through ebay's daily deal at $550 for the black sold by 1saleaday. I got a tracking number after two days, and initially was suppose to receive the package by 3/29, now I checked it again it's rescheduled to 4/2. What a bummer.
I will never order anything sold by 1saleaday.com.

Well they did say on their website 5 business days and up to 10 business days in some cases for an order to be shipped. If you have read their FAQs, you would have known that. I read all their FAQs and read all their reviews on the web before I bought from them. 5 business days usually translates to a whole week. When I got my shipping confirmation, it was on the 5th business day, in other words exactly 1 week from the day I ordered it (ordered Thursday and shipped Thursday the following week).
I probably wouldn't order anything refurbed from them, but if it's brand new and sealed, then I usually do. This was the 2nd time I have ordered from them, the first time was for micro usb car chargers for $1/each and all 5 I ordered came in between 2 and 3 weeks (shipped out also on the 5th business day as well). Their shipping is slow and they send by UPS ground from Florida (and I live in California), but at least they get to me. In fact I just ordered a few 2GB SD cards from them tonight since I have an old Nikon D50 DSLR that only uses SD (not SDHC) cards, so 3 more SD cards should last me a few more years with my trusty 7 year old Nikon D50.
As far as you receiving the package a few days late, blame the shipper. If 1saleaday.com sent out your package after the 2nd day (picked up by USPS), then it is not their fault, it's the shipper's fault.

I've bought a few things from 1saleaday. Everything has always been good with them. I had to do one return and it was not an issue. My only complaint is that they are so slow in getting the product out the door. Usually takes a full week before it ships. Since they are in Florida(I think) and I'm in California, it takes two weeks before I get the product.
I got mine from the Monkey deal that was $20 more expensive about 2 months back.

Just received my Note today (WOOHOO!). Just checked the CSC code and it says TPA, which I assume is Panama (had some hints because the manuals and box and when I turned on my phone, the language was Spanish). Good thing is it has Kernel N7000UBKK2 which is a rootable kernel. Off to root the sucker now!

My order (Black) on eXpansys shows "In stock in 8 days", so the date should be before the 29th, that was now said to be the "official" one...
What about your ones?
Do you think that will be really getting it before everyone else, since they are the official HTC distributors?

Blame the manufacturer, not the one who sold it to you.

Bought my galaxy note from them, the note died 5 months after purchase (still within 12 month warranty) and they literally refused to honour the warranty. And now it just sits there.
Samsung also refuse to help me because it was purchased from an international store.
So now I'm stuck with a phone that doesn't work and I cannot get fixed even when I offered to pay both Samsung and eXpansys.
If I was to purchase internationally again, I'd go clove or handtec like I've done in the past.

Why? I've been using them for years. Only ever had one problem where they sent me a used phone, which they rectified to my satisfaction.

Bought my Note 2 and HTC One X from them.. no problems at all.. i can say their customer service is trash tho..
Its like they only have 8 people working there.. 1 manage shipping, the rest just answer calls
but this was eXpansys USA.. so idk if its the same in your country

Yes I think so, but it sucks since I'm counting down since the first rumours got out.
I love HTC and it's not a good thing for the company to postpone the release.

The price they are charging appears to be the same as the "leaked" rrp price that was reported several days ago, a few weeks after they first listed at that price. Seems like everyone else are just greedy gits

That's awesome, although they do specify that Pre Order availability and pricing can change prior to a product coming into stock. Pre Orders can be cancelled at any time by emailing us.

Eh, I don't think they're all that good as a company to be honest, my USB port died on my GS2 after 13 months, I emailed to ask about the warranty and they told me even though they advertise that it comes with a 2 year warranty, it's really only 1 year, and anything after that I'd have to prove Samsung was at fault and that it wasn't due to wear and tear.

Their site is hosted by "uk-cheapest.co.uk" and the registrant for their domain name has a Yahoo! e-mail address. They're certainly no Clove or Handtec.

To be fair that's down to Samsung. It's their discretion on warranty cover. Although you could go down the legal route when goods don't last a reasonable amount of time for the price paid, which the supplier is responsible for.
I'm not sure many companies would help after more than a month or 2 without a push.
Even Game required a snotty letter (pointing out consumer law rights) before they agreed to fix an xbox 360 past its warranty period.

Careful with these guys - they charge a 15% restocking fee if you change your mind - check their T&Cs. You get a shock if you return the item.
I know it won't be an issue for most as you'll want to keep hold of your S4s but worth thinking about of your not sure as it's a huge restock cost.

Galaxy note 3 Simfree UK Price?

Hey everyone, anyone got any idea how much the note 3 will be simfree in the UK I've got an s3 at the moment and I bloody hate it need something a lot more powerful with a better screen and screen size. I'd be willing to pay like 500-550 although wouldn't be willing to pay over the odds like 700 for it or what they normally try to charge. So yeah anyone got any idea on how much the note 3 will be simfree only as I really don't want to be stuck in and tied down to a contract.

It's gonna cost you about 649 Pounds without contract also worth a mention according to them "The first 500 customers to pre-order a Galaxy Note 3 and Gear will get a £50 reward when they trade in any old phone at the Samsung Experience Store Launch Event."

yeah man of course haha. I wanted to go HTC one max or xperia z ultra. but decided to go with note again due to some spec requirements. like flash and SD card. flash mainly for hunting, like for your keys in the dark or something lol...
I've pre ordered from handtec, they have always been pretty decently priced. especially when you choose royal mail. no one acts as your gst/tax customs unlike DHL. so you save heaps. fck buying it here. price is always like 300+ more. joke country haha.
plus its never in nz until like 3 months AFTER the rest of the world has it

Yeah, prices are way too high here! I'm from Melbourne! I have actually lived in Auckland for 2 years about 10 years ago and I loved it! Where abouts in Auckland are you?
I went with clove again this time. Although Handtec is cheaper but after my horrible experience with them for my GN1 (I don't know if you remember it, I have mentioned it last year) I have decided never to buy from them again.
I have also had a pretty bad experience with DHL last year for the delivery of GN2, so this time I went with the slightly more expensive FedEx ;p

I've been Melbourne a bit. got mates there. nice city. bigger Auckland, I could live there easy. instead I'm moving to Europe in Jan next year. making use of my EU passport.

Had to return 2 consecutive GN1 to them which cost me over 200 bucks because the first one had a bad screen bleed and second with bad dead pixels.
DHL last time had a 2 days deals with the shipping of my GN2 and lost the tracking those 2 days! So decided to spend a couple of dollars more and go with FedEx this time

wow that's epic **** luck. I got a 29" monitor the other day and came home, always dread turning on first time and seeing a dead pixel. I had about 8. had to drive alllll the way back. just a major mission. overseas would be even worse lol, no compensations for our shipping eh.
I went black, I've always done black/silver/dark. anything white and I feel like someone might comment on my iphone -_-

I was going to do a hybrid case but I don't like our already large phone, to be larger. that's why I've always got back replacements, never back/sides or even a complete case that covers the back piece.
from what I read, the spigen screen protector I got from amazon is available 20 september, say 10 days to get here. makes 30th, then if the note 3 is released 25th, say 5 days which is what I can remember how long it took last time, might both be bang on? and 10 days for the spigen is stretching it, I reckon it'll be like 5 days or 7 max

Which is quicker? Preorder or just buy in Store?

OK, I'm a gadget junkie and want to get the note 3 sooner, rather, than later. All said, is it quicker to pre-order or wait until launch day. I want to pre-order, but it says it won't ship until launch day and 2 day delivery is the only option. What do you think?

I think the fact that nobody is sure when the carriers will begin shipping that your guess is as good as anyone's. There's rumors and conjecture of early shipping of preorders and internet order status pages with various and/or changing dates, but then again, some stores have it in stock now and it only takes one salesman who "accidentally" begins selling them early to start the mayhem.
I put my faith in a preorder, but no matter who gets it first, at least I'll get it.

Pre-order. I pre ordered s4 & got day before release. Knew several people that ordered before me and got 2 days early. So definitely order asap!

I guess pre ordering is the fastest way to get your phone, well at least here in the Netherlands. Last year when the note 2 was launched it took quite a while before it hit the stores here. People who pre ordered had the phone much faster!
