Installed Gangstar rio. On my Atrix Cyanogen Mod 7/ Morrisoft v08 lags so much.
Is this problem of our device/version of game or it`s rom lags?
Who can test Gangstar rio on other roms?
Waiting for answers.
I already have played and runs great I have a room of neutrino and runs without any lag.
I think that is 4 ur room try whit another one
Or use an overclock app
I've got CM9 and I dont have any lags
Does not lag on stock or paranoid android 2.00

Angry birds lags quite a lot especially in the advanced levels on my rooted legend running on cm 6.1 stable.
Is that normal for legend? I m not using any taskillers as I read that they are not needed in froyo. Are there any 'performance enhancing' apps which can work?

The port of Angry Birds from iPhone to Android is incredibly poor. The Legend is more than powerful enough to run Angry Birds, but is let down by the bad port job that Rovio had done. You could try an overclocked kernel, but that is the best you'll get
Hi, I had the same problem and this was mostly due to the in-game ads (game was slowed down A LOT while the ad image was loading).
Using AdFree was the first step to get Angry Birds run smoothly, but I also would suggest that you use an overclocked kernel.
Anyway, my Legend (CM Nightly 95) runs at 806mhz, AdFree'd, but the game still suffers from lags in some levels, due to a messy iphone port indeed, but still way better than vanilla Legend, you should give it a try!

Also have installed on the SD card and not on the phone memory...can that lead to lag ??

yesterday i installed blue lighting rom on my mother sgs1 it amazing rom and its so smooth but when i play Angry birds Rio it's lag like 5 or 10 fps and there is lag in angry bird season
when i was on gingerbread i was using thunderbolt script to fix the lag but i dont know if it work on ics + the thread is gone
i tried to change Governor lag still here i tried to change the kernel to glitch 14b5
and nothing its still lag i played a lot with setting and still nothing its still to laggy and most of time i have between 120 and 140 free ram and i close all apps before playing
so can any one help me btw i restored the apps with titanium backup from sammy rom
the all lag was because ads i downloaded adfree from play store and boom the game become so smooth
On Stock JVS gingerbread rom, angry birds rio only shutters for a sec when an ad drops down.

CM7 or MIUI, Dorimanx's ROM seems perfect for gaming (even though I personally don't use it) because of it's CM7 and Dorimanx kernel combination. However, I must point out that none of the ROMs will give you a smooth gaming experience for HD games. Some games like Temple Run and NFS Shift play well, but they are the max extent to which the games are playable. After this, HD games such as GTA3 have no chance of running smoothly whatsoever (so don't waste your money on GTA)
+1 for Dorimanx combination. Games run smooth (Samurai II, Blood&Glory, and Shadowgun). Chainfire is a must have for gaming

But then again I haven't tried GTA on it... yet
Also temple run doesn't work on it for some reason - each touch registers as jump or duck; even sideways swipes :S but I can say that Angry Birds Space, Draw Something and Fruit Ninja work fine without stuttering
It's not the most stable ROM, but if you want ICS goodness as well as (most) games this is one to look out for

Try miroslav_mm's CM7 build or jelly bean
CM 7.2 has rendering from ICS, jelly bean is smoother with some games (fruit ninja, angry birds etc.)

Currrently i'm using Stroke Rom, far better till the date.... With no problems at all. Played Angry Birds / Asphalt 5 / fruit ninja {note: had to use chainfire 3d for better graphics & higher versions of asphalt didn't worked so gave up}. Still waiting for better things to get a working game of frontline commando. not got it yet.

My recent favourite has been Demon Hunter 3. Too bad multiplayer needs wifi. Easy Diablo clone to kill time on the bus
Also a bit off topic but what is your rom & kernel configuration for Temple Run 2? I have only played it with CM10 with several different kernels. Best seems to be latest Phenom kernel, but still game suffers a bit of random lags, especially when you get far. Sometimes makes you just wanna throw your phone to that wall I wonder if it's the alpha JB snapdragon drivers that are causing random FPS drops. Is it more playable in GB or ICS?

have you already tried a 3.4 kernel - like Nexus v9.1? I dont have lags with this kernel, but perhaps i don't get that far.
A alot of people are saying that it is the alpha stage gpu drivers that qualcom hasn't updated. Even though you score good 6500ish on antutu, many high end games will lag. So it is a general problem with all JB roms and kernels for now. Qualcom drivers for ICS and GB should be better. I haven't installed CM9 yet, but have to try it at some point I guess.

And btw, I have a problem. I can't play any Modern Combat with my S Plus. Play store says that my phone isn't compatible I think it might have something to do with my ROM. I flashed CM10 Beta 3 by Ivendor and then incompatibility problems started. They all worked fine with 2.3.6 gingerbread. What could be the problem? Thanks in advance
