Not sure why it's working. But you could probably find skins in other forums.
The skins available modify the system an mess my phone up
It's probably because they aren't ready for 4.0 roms yet. Same thing happened with 3.5 too.

This smartbeat Rom is missing a skin I think , when I was runny.g virtuous sense 4.9 I had an orange skins so idk.

Just grab the apk and put it on SmartBeat rom. I bet it will work.

Seems as if there are a lot of ROMs not on the ROM manager, it's better to just download them imo anyway
I think there is things that are still broken with doubleshot. No sense in putting it on there yet.
It is up to the developer to post the rom to ROM manager... If the dev doesn't feel like it then they won't... Take it up with evild as it is his ROM, the virtuous is because he is part of the virtuous team... Even though he still has his side projects like the doubleshot ROM...

is there anyway to resize the launcher for ginger thyparancy ? i am running virtuous unity 2.37 , and the theme is too big for my wvga screen (flashed a zip) , can i use adb or like root explorer to find a file to resize my luancher ? or is there a port of ginger thyparancy for wvga screens ? maybe something similar ? what really caught my attention in this theme was the ability to have transparancy and a simple theme , any help would be awesome

yeah but the thing is there is also a full theme which customizes the icons (batteru,signal,wifi etc.) add transparancy, and adds a 5x4 drawer

I'm on royal ginger ROM at first week it was good now I get force close when I go to market . Same happens when I installed the cm7 nighties ROM but when I install miui or sense roms it doesn't happen. Message goes like this:
The application market (process com.Android.vending) stopped working unexpectedly.
Please help me . Does anyone else having same issue? Please share

If you havent yet, download the new market. Its version 3.1.6 I believe.
You can also go to settings/applications/all apps and clear the markets data and retry.

You must be doing something incorrectly. I followed the same instructions that fedycv posted and my market installed successfuly. Read the instructions again carefuly and retry.

The new market is tested and found 100% working in both Virtuous Unity & MIUI
Are you still facing the same problem?
No when i download miui and vu its 100% fine. I only get the force close when i install royal ginger rom or cyanogen nightlies

So have you flashed the new version of google apps after you installed cyanogen nightlies?
Not sure if its new but i got it from the link at cm7 nightlies link the file is called gapps.gb.20110613.zip i flaehed it right after the rom

So that's the problem. The google apps you installed is supported for 2.3.4 only.
Download the latest google apps for 2.3.5 here. May be this will work.
Since google apps is not out for the new cyanogen nightlies, there may be some issues, anyway try it out.

Definitely Virtuous Unity 2.39 is the best. Fast, stable, awesome UI.
I suggest you to go for Virtuous Unity, now you can get beats audio in VU....
So don't hesitate......Try VU 2.39.......you will really love it......

RCmix is pretty nice as well, but if you want stable, definitely go for Virtuous Unity. don't get me wrong, RCmix is a very nice port of sense 3.5, best out there for the HTC Glacier. there's just still a few things here and there to fix, and then it would be beast. but as of now, Virtuous Unity is the best rom out there for the HTC Glacier.
Thanks guys got the vu ROM its awesome . 1 thing I still don't get why cm7 or royal ginger ROM doesn't work for me and market force closes and vu rom market its fine. I don't get it

The doubleshot is a sense 3.0 phone so it should work on both.

I don't feel like downloading 10 Roms to test this out so I will accept and trust my fellow Xda members! Been using Cm7 based roms as my daily drivers but wanted to try a sense rom for once that doesn't feel like stock.

If you are looking for most stable and fully functioning rom I recommend virtuous unity 2.39. I also have a stock mysense debloated rom that is pretty much gingerbread stock. They both have decent battery life.

Are you trying to screw yourself over? Jk but seriously, why would you want to go to a sense rom and have it have lots of tweaks, sense is slow enough already. What you should do is stay on CM7 or RoyalGinger and download one of the themes found in the themes section. If your bent on a sense rom, try using Infernosense, i haven't tried it yet but it looks really good. I myself use the DARKSIDE sense which is basically stock sense 3.5

Tweaks, go for RCMix 3D. The thread was deleted though....-_-
I ended up going to HoneySmartDroid and flashed the DD camera for now this will do till we get ICS fully functional

After years of looking up info here, I'm finally posting some feedback!
I've tried about 12 roms so far, and the best Sense rom out there, in my opinion, is Darkside Runny 2.2.
Let me know if you're looking for specific features/tweaks. I keep trying other roms, but have always reverted back to this one. I would recommend that format/partition your sdcard with the 3 recommended partitions (storage, ext4, swap file). Mine runs verrrrry smoothly...
Thanks Chicago T gonna try that Rom and see how it goes besides the Stock Sense rom I never tried Sense always had Cyanogen based roms so time for something new.
