I think it was about to cost only 500 GBP.
I have seen protos selling for 400-420 GBP , ideal price would be 450 - 500 GBP. Though it's still expensive.

Most probably the price after 2 weeks, will be with 100 euros below.

I don't know about it going down much in price beyond the Promotion price of £500, at least for the next few months.
Touch Pro is still about £ 480 And TyTN II new is still retailing at £450. So I don't see the X1 going below that for while.

Non Official price i`ve got from few retail stores here in Bulgaria/Sofia is 500-550 euros.
The phone is expected to be available after 2 weeks.

And where are you located? If anyone can confirm is the Hero will work in the US (aside from 3G), I may have a proposition for you.

Price range is between 350 and 450 Euro in Germany. I got mine for 350 Eur on eBay.

Approx 950 US$ in Israel

In Italy we can buy it ad 500€ unbranded

I'm from southern California, USA and I bought my unlock hero for 600 bucks! But its worth it to me, aside from not being able to get 3g here but I can live without it... =]

I bought my HTC Hero at 2399 MYR = 684.940 USD

It cost US$490 in Hong Kong.

In Thailand

I found an unlocked brand new one for $444 US. I gues that's good? If this falls through, I would like to pay someone (plus extra for thei time) if they could but one and send it to me. Any volunteers?

Make sure check because that could be the price if you get a contract on the phone. I got mine without a contract in greece during my vacation for €550= about $750

In Romania with no contract is about 500 EUR. I am going to buy mine with prolongation of my existing contract of 20 EUR at 350 EUR.

I bought mine on eBay UK for £410 4/5 months ago, ive noticed it has stayed true enough to it's value it hasn't dropped by that much given the quality your getting im not surprised.
I was contemplating getting it for free or cheap on another long contract but im glad i didn't, never again...

Sure they weren't meaning the listings on ebay? I was seeing an insane price on them. I think I saw $599.99[USD] or $699.99[USD] for the 8GB one :/

Sure.. They were meaning the official price in shops and important site as amazon and others.. It should costs 350 euro for the the 16GB, instead it costs more than 500 euro also on German amazon.. I'm confused.. I hope these will be stupid rumors

I was really happy about the Nexus 6P, but the prices are really confusing (and not what I hoped for).
The 6P in the US (w/o tax):
32 GB / 500 $, 64 GB / 550 $, 128 GB / 650 $
The 6P in Germany (with tax):
32 GB / 650 €, 64 GB / 700 €, 128 GB / 800 €
The 6P in Germany with USD <> € Conversion and taxes (what it should be):
32 GB / 530 €, 64 GB / 585 €, 128 GB / 690 €
So, anyone here has an idea why we have to pay over 100 € more then it should be? Nexus 6 was a more or less 1:1 conversion from USD to €.
For a 5,7" phone with those specs the US prices are ok, not the cheapest but still far from expensive.... but 700 - 800 € for it?

Well USA is without tax. Also don't you have a form of vat tax tax in USA is about 6 percent in my state less in others.

Ehm... Germany and France have 649/699/799€ prices, while Italy and Spain 699/749/849€...
The 32GB in Italy costs more than the 128GB in USA.
Absolutely no-sense.

WTF.... Spain and Italy is even more expensive?! How?! Why?! X_x

i would wait till ebay is flooded with offers from early adopters who decide they don't like it anymore.
and if retailers are getting the phone aswell the price will soon drop to an adequate level according to the demand.
same happened with last year's nexus 6.
