Kindly read-request to all members.

Hello all XDA Members,
I have been watching at the Android Development Section of Galaxy 3 for the wonderful development helping our phone to be a legend. First of all thanks to all the Dev's. Despite of requests by FORUM MODERATOR AND SENIOR MODERATOR some people (only some) are continuing to post General Questions and asking for help in the Android Development Section. Its a request please help to keep the Section clean and co-operate with the Dev's who are making out best from our phone. If the Galaxy 3 Sub Forum is divided into 4 Section that is they all have their own different purpose. You all should follow the rules of Forum.
Thanks for reading. Hope that you will follow and help the Dev's and provide all of us with a better Forum Experience.

Thats the problem! Everybody posts on dsv section because it will get more attention then we need to figure out how to stop that

MIUI Revolution

where did livewings MIUI Revolution thread go in the dev forum? does anybody know? i know that he got banned for slapping noobs, but i just read the thread earlier and now its gone.

And since we don't have the thread I have to ask this here; Does anyone remember the recommended app for video recording? I need it badly.

It's not the thread the OP is talking about. But the last Livewings thread, the one in which he started insulting people, has been deleted.
Just my opinion, i've never seen so much drama on a dev forum. With lot's of dev whinning at each other with competion.
I thought android dev community and Galaxy Note users was a sort of big family. Seems i was wrong.

No this is the MIUI Livewings edition.
This was closed and MIUI revolutions was started, which eventually has been deleted.

Videocam illusion.
Why wasn't the thread just locked as it contains loads of info for the many, many people that flashed the rom!? This is ridiculous.

Agree completely. This is breach of trust, what happens to all those who flashed their ROM trusting XDA that the info would be there? Deleting is too big a decision, if found violating rules, the that particular post could have been deleted and thread be locked, but deleting the entire thread?

Thanks man. And I second your opinion. The mods need to fix this colossal screw up.

Please bring that thread back. Deleting a thread that can affect so many uaers is just plain wrong. Lets not kill the existing development on our device.

I very much doubt that the thread can be restored if it is really deleted (and it appears that it is).
If anyone needs clarification as to what/why that happened, you could perhaps ask here:

What did he wrote that insult people? If he insult people from beeing noob then I understand moderator, there are loots of noobs here, some of them might become a dev someday. If you start to insult people from beeing noob, then the interest for xda will collaps.

Mods you made a great mistake banning LW and above all deleting his thread. Absurd. Please LW keep on with your fantastic job and tell us Please how to follow you in these days. I would like to go on with your roms but we need support thanks

Agreeed that the mods had to take some action. But deleting the thread and banning the user is no solutiom to a problem at hand. All posts can be deleted instead that exhibit such behavior.
Just saying that there are better steps to take when things go south.

Miui Revolution

So my last thread got locked for people bashing the moderators. I have all the files that livewings put up before he got banned if anybody wants to continue developing on this. Myself as well as many others on this forum would love to see this keep progressing. So please don't start bashing the mods over this and let's come up with a plan to get this back on track.

It is really said that something like that happened.
But for now we have to save what we can because this build was really nice.
I am truly sorry for livewings. I hope that this issue will solved somehow satisfactory for everybody involved.

The decision has been made, the other thread was closed, do not reopen another one. If you proceed with further development work on the ROM, make sure this subject isn't discussed in that thread or it, too, will be closed.

For moderators about Note3 section

Moderators, dont be di*ks but I believe that nobody here want to write about Note3 to some upgrade section. You can see nobody is writing there. I went to this section and trying to search new infos from xda guys here and moderators locks everything and we cannot share opinions. I am really disguistited about that.
So I think everyone will agree if you leave one thread in general threats with title Note3 and we will be satisfied. Who agree with me give thanks.

And this will get closed as well. Use the general or upgrade thread as stated.

[Q] Echoe Rom thead closed

Can somebody please tell me why Echoe Rom is closed? It's my favorite Rom as I've never had an issue flashing them...every mod i throw at it seem to work flawlessly..so why have they done this?..please make them bring it back..:crying::crying:

Rixsta closed the thread due to Flaming and lack of respect after several warnings, I'm sure the thread will be opened back shortly once it's been settled with the OP

When a rom is good like Echoe, it gets very popular...downside, it attracts more brainless people, showing no respect to the dev and the team.

I think that this is a provocation of people who were jealous of popularity threads

U know what they say "overfamiliarity causes disrespect". I think Friedrich was too nice to reply as many stupid people as he can...now look what it has caused. I don't blame most devs not replying stupid posts and just working backstage...

So what was the flaming about? The garish theme on the latest release? Was planning to download the ROM (unthemed version) but no download links in first post...

I feel very frustated with all this. Friedrich is a nice guy e very prestative at elucidating questions, and his work is had of the best Roms out there.. I really wish the topic be unlocked as soon as possible and developer can continue with his nice contribuitions to all community.

With the thread closed, we cannot have access to the new links, right?

yeh @Friedrich is a great developer i have seen the way he interacts with people around the forum and it s just marvelous . i wish him the best of luck.

I have a good idea, why don't we all post a private message to Rixsta apologizing
for the lack of civility and respect these other people have shown in his thread.
Then perhaps he will open the thread again. LOL

Another massive fan of the Echoe Rom here, and saddened by the lack of respect shown to developers.
@Friedrich and the team have done great work, and I love the slim version especially - here's hoping they are willing to continue working for us and reopen the thread. Without these people, our phone experiences wouldn't be as rich and as fun as they are.
