does this mean that i can use macedonian keyboard for input?
Just tested Handcent and it appears the the duplicate SMS bug IS NOT present on this build
The only bloat appears to be an "O2 Space" app. Plus their boot animation and shut down animation, and lockscreen wallpaper.
There seems to be a new Google Video app that I haven't seen before too
Hi Friends,
This ICS firmware is also no branded without brand operator network ?

O2 Firmware!
Scrolling seems different to LP7 which I was on before, its not as 'sticky' anymore. Its never bothered me much either way though. But now if you scroll through a page on the xda app its much more sensitive and easy to flick to the bottom of the page rapidly.
Is it this new LP3 better than LP2?.
Can somebody that has just installed this firmware test if the issue regarding the inversed left-right video recorded sound is still present?
change logs?
anyone have any idea regarding changelogs?

How often do you reboot your phone anyway?
So how is this ROM compared to LPQ? Please don't say it is better just because it appeared late

Hi guys,
During the weekend I finally upgraded from 2.2.1 (Darky's) to 2.3.3 JVh downloaded from [Firmwares]Stock I9000 and I9000M Firmwares collection [Latest: DDJV9, XWJVK, XXJVQ]. Even though, the ROM has CSCs for Bulgarian carriers (VVT and MTL) I can't select Bulgarian locale or Bulgarian as input language for Samsung keyboard. I can actually select it as an input language, but each time I select it during typing, the label switches to English US/UK and language doesn't change.
Locale is not an issue and it can stay in English, but I really need Bulgarian for my keyboard.
Is there a ROM with this included or a way to install Bulgarian?
If possible, I would prefer to use the existing keyboard and not install third party one.
Thanks in advance for all the help.
EDIT: If it matters, the phone is rooted using Chainfire's method and his CWM.
Same here, actually it's since stock 2.2.1
(Изтегли си от маркета Bulgarian Keyboard 2, няма друго спасение)
Damnit, I was hoping for some solution using the built in Samsung keyboard. The design and usability in this version are stellar.
Bulgarian Keyboard 2 installed, thanks for the advice Travel_Mate!
You are probably missing the corresponding files in /system/T9DB . Τhe csc οn its own is not enough.
You can find them in a Bulgarian rom and copy them over.
From the name of this directory I suspect this is only for T9 dictionaries or am I wrong? In any case, the issue is, that I can't find a 2.3.x ROM with Bulgarian included. Can files from 2.2.1 be used?
Working on:
- should work on any rooted I9000 Gingerbread
Odexed / Deodexed:
- BOTH
CWM2 / CWM3:
- BOTH
Troubleshooting:
- if you got any problems regarding language showing up on the list but youre unable to switch to it, check your Product Code (*#272*imei#*)
one that shows there must match one that you flashed with fw (for JVB those are XEE & NEE, for JVA it is LUX and so on... that is the CSC file from odin...)

I have this one:
From [Firmwares]Stock I9000 and I9000M Firmwares collection [Latest: DDJV9, XWJVK, XXJVQ]
After flashing I switched the CSC to VVT via *#272*imei#*
which if your packages should I flash with CWM? Or is it possible to only copy the files to /system and reboot?
Will the same thing work with 2.3.4? I.e., flash JVQ from the same thread above and then apply one of your packages to add KB language, even though there is no Bulgarian CSC for 2.3.4 ROMs.
you might want to also copy over

I've tried the jvb version but same as before, nothing changed. Flashed using CWM 3
have you used also /system/T9DB files from jvb?
also try wipeing application data - hope you know how
and dalvik cache - also hope here
hey but the fe youre using got your countr CSC
so you must have done something wrong while flashing ...
you do not need my files you need a wipe or something

Exactly, we are looking for this "something". We are two different persons sharing the same problem.(and probably all the Bulgarians using android)
I am using the same JVO with multi CSC like him. Even Bulgarian is in the list of available languages, when u mark it, it's not possible to switch to it. I've noticed this since 2.2.1
- have you cnahged to your product code?
- i know that changing pc wipes data but can you do a factory reset after that ?
and tell if factory reset produces any error in cwm afterwards if so
you should flash some froyo as a base change pc on froyo to bulgarian and then flash 2.3.4 that will have your bulgarian pc afterwards and it will work probably then
Well, every time I flash a fw. I'm using *2767*3855# before the flash and after . So it means I am doing factory reset two times. Product code is not changed, it stays MTL.
In my opinion simply the necessary files are not included in this firmwares.
Which begs the question -- can we just copy the keyboard language from an older version, like Froyo?
Sorry to dig this up from a shallow grave, but there is a new GGB version -- 2.3.5JVS, which has Bulgarian in locales, but not in keyboard, so has anyone managed to import BG or any other Cyrillic language in default Samsung keyboard?
I also heard, that Bulgarian is available in SGS2 stock kbd, so I wonder if it will work on our devices. Does anyone have the files?
I think if you can find a solution on... market
I was in similar situation, while looking for russian keyboard on english ROM.
Try to look on Gingerbread Keyboard 2.3+.
You can install as much languages as you want, and download several dictionaries.
Toggle between the input lang is by swap the space key.
hope this will help you.
Now it looks like Robbielicious over at DarkyROM found another leak and it's based on Android 2.3.5. Name is XXJVS Build date is sep 8 .

hate whoever you want we do not care for haters!
now since we have 2.3.5 and none else can get it, maybe we should shove it in the trash, so you can hate us even more...
who do you think gave samfirmware the files...
p.s. There is your confirmation JVS is real and we will release it when we feel it's safe to not be traced back and our connection to leaks to be closed. Why do we feel that the leak could be traced? Because files change often and it's not that hard to check the firewall logs for a small window of time (let's say a couple of hours). If you are too dumb and immature and can not understand this, then by all means feel free to go screw yourself

Ofcourse everbody is thanksfull for those firmware but boasting about it everytime that WE GOT THE LEAK,,!WE GOT THE LEAK...!! only show that u guys need to grow up and start respecting the community.
Moreover your argument that if source of leak get traced then sammy could take action against those employes is vague because its sammy only who intentionally releases these firmware to get input from peoples who try it and then it becomes easy to trace bugs.If it is not leaked from your side then it will get leaked from other sources .We are gettin leaked firmware from last many months from many different sources. So if you think that we are getting these leaks because of you then you are leaving in different world

Unlike the Tab S2, ALL the display languages are supported out of the box, shown below. It no longer matters where you bought the tablet, whether it is from the US, UK, or even India. Languages marked as NEW are the ones that first appear on the US version devices.
The last time when ALL display languages were supported was from the Galaxy Tab 2 (GT-P5113).
Language Enabler is no longer necessary to enable all the languages starting from Nougat.

Canadian physical kb layout not supported by Samsung on Tab S3
I just purchased the Canadian physical kb for the Tab S3. there is no way to select English(canadian) for this kb. There is no matching layout in settings. Samsung has indicated that they do not support this layout on their tablet, although they sold me the keyboard,
Huh???
Most of the punctuation keys do not match English(US).
Is there a mapper available, or does anybody know if Samsung plans to support their own keyboard on the Tab S3???
The keyboard is the EJ-Ft820BSEGCA for Canada. Note that the pictures on the website for this model show the US model. The actual layout is different.
Thans for any help.
