plug your SD card to your PC run the software, delete both partitions then create a new one preferably FAT32/ Primary.
NOTE:
make sure your doing your SD Card & not your PC's HD's!!!
also disregard my post if this is not what you want coz WP7 won't boot after this procedure.
Because my pc doesn't identify my card.
that's caused by sd encryption.
The only way i found when sd is encrypted is us dev_storagelock.cab from xboxmod thread.
after you decrypt the sd your pc will recognize it...
this mean that you need to use wp7.
i'm loocking too for a solution without both...
did this software work?
I have a few microSD cards that are locked now and I can't use anywhere else.
flash Yuki ROM (BTTF) again if you flashed other, send "dev_storagelock.cab" to phone
with SDformatter format card (in option enable "format size adjustment")
P.S.
is important to read about ROM before flash... only Yuki ROM (BTTF) lock cards...

hi everyone,
yesterday i've installed window phone 7 on my HD2 (my current OS is NAND android). After few hours try it, i'm really disappointed b/c it's too boring. i've formatted my SD card by mini tool partition 5.2 to back to android. When i format complete, i copy file from my laptop to sd card normally. after that, i boot my phone and try to copy a new file and it's done. But the problem is when i plus my sd card into phone, the phone see the card but my new file is not enable. I've formatted the card and my phone but nothing appear. Please help me

You just format your SD? Did you notice that it's just a 200Mo SD now?
You copied files to your SD "normally"... what do you mean by "Normally" (via card reader, in WM7, in MAGLDR... there's so many "normally" so it's difficult to know which one is yours).
You format the card and your phone... what do you mean by formating your phone? You put it in the card reader of your laptop, right clic on it and choose "format"??? And after format it's still booting?
I would like to help... help me to understand your problem.
(maybe English is not easy for you, I can understand but the result make it very difficult to understand... if this is the case, try again please).

And also if u have digital camera with SD slot u can try to format in that camera. I have read about it somewhere.

Windows Phone 7 formatted the SD cart as FAT16, MAGLDR can't read this format.
You can reformated with a SD card reader and a any partion manager program, format as FAT32 and MAGDLR will work.

If they used the XBmod-Yuki 7720 ready ROM rather than HD2Owner's V1.20 WP7 Build 7720 [test ver. 1] their SD cards were formatted with Microsoft's WP7 proprietary SD format. This explains why their SD card readers could not recognize their cards. This by now is a well known issue, and therefore the search link I gave above may be quite useful.
I Had Same issue. just solved it now, i had to re-flash with the old rom with memory card inserted, installed DEV_STORAGELOCK.cab which unlockes your SD card again, unlocked my memory card, then switch off, put into USB flasher mode and reflash with 7720 image and now unlocked SD card, detects ok again now all working
got both my SD cards working now with 7720, had to update phone to 7392 first with one card before i could unlock it. the previous rom drivers were no good with some cards.
Couldnt use or detect the card with any partitioning or Formatting software until i unlocked it in Windows phone 7 with DEV_STORAGELOCK.cab

So, i know, again the sd problem, but nopt the "normal" lock problem:
The hd2 donna read any sd card in magdlr!
But from the piont of beginning:
1) original miui version installed (from german miui)
2) installed WP7 back to future, dunno run, so i changed the sd card to an 8gb one. also not work, so i want to go back to android.
so i installed a clean wp7 back2future rom and use the unlock.cab 2 unlock my sd card, worked more or less but sd cards are unlocked now
3) first flash the original wm 6.5 built from htc, everything worjks(read sd card)
4) task 29
5)magdlr
6) cwm installed
7) want to copy over a rom, but windows told me, that i have to format the card, but if i do, theres ionly one 1kb partiotion...
but the sdcard worksd always in windows mobile roms and with a reader! what can i do? all sd cards are unlocked!

try panasonic sd formater, do full erase with adjust size option checked...should work post that.

i had working Dual boot OS with WP7 and android for the last 2 weeks on my HTC HD2 with 32Gb SanDisk MicroSD.
yesterday i wanted to make a new installation with other versions on the OS. So...
i formatted the SD card to New FAT32 and the PC recognize it well.
I went to install WP7 from there :

and after the installation the phone reboot and i did again hard reset for it to build up the partitions on the SD.
after the second boot the phone got stuck and i had to take the battery out in i wanted to start all over from the beginning.
when i went to format the SD again my Windows didn't find it nothing i did.
i i used all the partition application i know but nothing - no SD or dead sd.
i also installed Gparted and boot from the live cd but still no SD.
i installed original WM 6.5 - buy fuss what - still no SD installed.
i don't know what to do??????
i installed also android on hand and tried to format from the android but still - no SD installed.
is there some magic i can do?
or my SD is dead?

your SD card is locked.... BTTF lock card and that card not readable.... you must unlock card first... send unlock cab file to phone and after that you can format card (or use old Nokia phone http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1242071)
if you want dual boot without worry about locking card, try use Pdaimatejam Rom or DFT UltraFruit

I installed pdaimatejam rom v7.1, cannot read sd card. Already send cab lock and unlocked cab both with hard reset.Easeus partition, pc and sdfomatter still cannot read. Phone and zune can read my card. What gone wrong any idea?

I want my SD card back to it's normal use. How do I format it? When I use bootloader Magdlr, I choose USB Mass Storage, my PC just alerted tone but not detecting my card.
