I apologise in advance if this isn't the correct forum to post this question.
Has anyone successfully flashed their i9505 with either of the new firmware (I9505XXUDMGG & I9505XXUDMH8) that's been released from Samsung?
I did read on another website that there's a potential bootloader issue with these ROMs? Can someone provide some general feedback on the ROM such as speed or any issues present?
It's strange that there's no threads discussing this on XDA!?!

new problem with bootloader (at moment unsolved), problem with root (solved), problem with downgrade (unsolved)...the rom is stable and smooth (for me)

I just upgraded via Odin and I'm having some major issues with this ROM. ROM updated successfully then after I unlocked the phone I'm getting a constant (never ending) stream of error messages about lots of apps that have stopped and every second error message says "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped".
The phone is unusable.
Interestingly, I was going to attempt to backup my whatsapp messages and reset to factory defaults but when I opened whatsapp it said that my messaging database has been corrupted.
Is there something different I should have done with Odin with this firmware/rom?

I have the i9505xxudmgg firmware installed on my phone.
For several reasons I would like the root it and it would be my first attempt ever. So please understand me, I'm a complete newbie.
I read all the information I could find, but I'm still very confused. Can you please help me understand?
- Is it possible and safe to root this firmware?
- If something goes wrong can I reinstall it?
- Would you recommend to wait until android 4.3 is released or will it be even worse?

[Q] GT-I9505 Wifi Common Problem ; Help Please !

Hey everyone.. First, I'm so grateful for all XDA users and developpers. Thank you so much
I'm facing a serious annoying problem with my GI-I9505; Wifi is not working when I turn it on it just stay GreyGreen and not enabled. I've tried many things but it's all the same and the problem still not fixed.
The only thing that could help:
I skipped the Google Account and Samsung account logging in the first boot after The Hard Reset.
Cause I noticed that Wifi is normaly working in first boot but it crashes after signing to the Google Account ( after that step ).
Hoping that someone can help.
PS: Android Version is 4.4.2 July's. Unrooted

First try factory reset in settings failing that download and flash the firmware with the correct corresponding to your country and carrier from samobile.com flash with Odin
And final solutions root and install custom ROM which will definitely work

[Q] ERROR Notification Pop Ups On My LG G2 F320s

Hi ,
I Have LG G2 F320s (korean)
i had android 4.4.2 on it when i bought it. then i saw a few tutorials and updated official firmware to F320S30E_00 (Lollipop 5.01)
Then i rooted my fone to get rid of the Bloatware , i installed a software to remove bloatware and accidentally deleted some of android apps files. with android minion icons.
it started giving me errors like Unfortunately android.process.acore has stopped working.
i did a hard reset on my phone but no use. then i flashed the same firmware again. and now it's stuck at Welcome wizard , giving me several errors.
Unfortunately System UI Has Stopped Working
Unfortunately Keyboard Has Stopped Working
I Can Still Take Screenshots Though. Receiving Full Network Signals, The Phone Is Working Properly but i cannot get into homescreen because of popups.
please help me out. if any Noob friendly developer out there.

Did you wipe your /system/ before re-installing the rom? You just need a full wipe (data, cache and system), then install a rom that you like on top of that.

Samsung Note 4 (N910F) DRK Problem

Hello guys, I have a Samsung Note 4 N910F which a friend gave to me as a gift. He has been using it though.Did an upgrade to Android 6.0.1 and just before it booted, got an error that" DRK missing,Please install DRK first" then another one like "Please Flash ENG then install DRK". The phone boots ok but is a bit sluggish when typing or scrolling.The fingerprint scanner has also failed and gives an error when i try to set up. Please help solve this problem coz i really wanna use this device :crying:

I have very similar issue with my Note 4 SM-N910G too, any updates on this? Minis all stock too.

try downloading stock rom from sammobile and flash through odin..hope it works

the Phone shows me that it cant root and boot
firmware upgrade encountered an issue
