I saw a youtube video of the Gingerbread on and off screen animations on CM7 but I just downloaded the Alpha3 and I see the options in Cyanogenmod settings but it doesn't work. Not sure If it works for others and if I should reflash? Pretty cool feature to have. btw The rest of the Cm7 Rom rocks!! Big shout out to those working hard on this rom!

I dont think so. With the latest nighty works perfect
New market is laggy with EDGE connection(mine use to work at 130-160 kbps)..earlier market client use to work perfect with EDGE connection,but now it has become slow and laggy..perhaps i will have to now switch to 3G network but problem in my country is that 3G oprates at 2100Mhz band and provides very poor indoor connectivity
i'm getting force closes...it loads up ok, then right after it loads up it force closes.. i tried clearing the cache, no change... any ideas?

The new market says I have an update for one app. When I go to start the update, there are only 2 buttons. Open and Uninstall. How does one start an update I wonder?!? LOL.

Installs and works fine on Leedroid 3.0.8.2. I even installed over the existing app instead of uninstalling first.
Not sure if I like it yet though. May go back to the previous version instead, but will give this version a bit longer and see if it grows on me.

Hmmm if video does not matter than a ICS ROM...They all seem to be pretty stable.. If she is going to be watching videos then a cyanogenmod 7 ROM... Again all are pretty stable.
CM7 SoS or Barebones I'd say so she can still watch flash vids and what not.

cm9(ics) rooms are much more beautiful, and gapps are much cooler than cm7. But in cm7 you have flash and HD video. If you like to be able to have flash in your browser go to cm7.
For stability, both are stable enough. I use kang energy themed.

You can't. It's a limitation in the hardware, firmware, or both. You've gotten the same answer in the other thread. Please stop cross-posting and thread-jacking.
I advise you to try CM9 Reloaded. + latest gapps ICS. I tried some other releases and "Reloaded"- is the only one, which installed correctly on my device and Android Market finally works!! Other installed roms-had connection problems in "market". I also tried to install it manually, correctly following the instructions, but it didn't help((
MoDaCo is very stable.
My wife doesn't notice anything different other than the fact that she can get programs from the google store and can do more things.

actually it is a thread for all acs roms but having appropriate threads for each rom is good.now i wont add this up there btw its almost full.
and its normal burstlam's rc5.8 which i had reported earlier.
the rom looks nice but i will stick with CFX for now till there are some added functions in this.

i didnt tried as i am changing roms everyday
i will ask at Modaco
Been using this since yesterday. Its very usable and stable. YouTube stutters even on LQ but sound is fine.
Can't test USB tether sorry.
Battery life seems fine. Was at 93% after 16 hours.
Keyboard lags but installing another keyboard improves it a bit
