I was wondering if there was any way to change the state of the power button LED. Like, turn it on or off..
That would be great, I've wondered this also.

I'm getting an xperia, I used to have a tytn II and now have a touch pro.
When I moved from the TYTN II to the touch pro I really missed having hardware keys and the LED blinking whenever the phone was on.
I could only tell if the phone was on by pressing the power button on the touch pro, which meant on a night when I wanted to switch off the phone I end up pressing the button, only to see the phone was already off then have to wait for the phone to start only shut it down.
Can you make the light flash every so often when it's on on an X1? If not is there a way to tell if it's on or off (without turning it on if it's off)?

you could briefly press the power key to see if the screen immediately lights up, if not then it is off
or you could allow waking up the phone with any hardware key and click one of the other keys to see if it's on
I'm sure, with all of the apps and mods on here, there is a way to make your lights blink every so often as well
however, I've noticed the lights aren't very bright, even at night time
You can slide it open to check if it is on
OMG I've been going nuts over this, I didn't think about sliding the keyboard out!
The any key wake is an even better option, thanks.
I'd still like to get the LEDS lit though, as I used to remeber to switch off the TYTN II when it lit up after I turned off the (ceiling) lights.
Thanks for the help

A workaround:
Set SMS or Mail notification lights to "unlimited"
Send yourself a SMS or Mail and keep that one "unread", then you have your Xperia blinking as long as its turned on.
I was just wondering if the screen on the LG G2 is supposed to remain on if you plug it in for charging?
I'm running stock UI and after plugging it in, when I wait for the screen to time out it goes to a live wallpaper and other themes I've tried seems to do this as well. I can't find any way to have it time-out normally to an off LCD screen. I'm just afraid that with the screen on that it will affect the charge time.
It seems that I can only get the screen to turn off by pressing the power button. If I try to knock off, it just throws the phone back to my lock screen.
Is this normal? If so, is there anyway to set it so the screen turns off automatically while charging?
Turn off the dream crap in settings.
I have noticed in cm 10.2 and now in cm 11 that when in the car dock (with car mode on) the notification light blinks. I have confirmed that when you tap on the notification and turn car mode off, but keep the phone in the dock, that the light then turns off.
I have messed around in the notification light settings and can't find a solution. I have also hunted around to figure out how to disable car mode permanently since I don't use a car mode app or anything and can't find a solution for that either. Looked under All Apps to try to disable it there but it isn't listed.
Anyone know how to disable the car mode notification light or how to disable car mode.
How do I turn off or disable the notification that says its charging wireless? How I turn off the screen on and off when its charging wireless as well? Basically at night it will stop when its at 100% but then when i drops it will charge again. I don't want it to light up and vibrate and tell me. How do I turn all this off?

Click to collapse
I think I found it. Wanam has a option in the lock screen section.
Looks like I need a option to stop the screen from turning on when placed on the wireless charging pad. Anyone know what option that is?
Hello again, nookies!
I've come across a small bug/problem on my Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight. Wondering if any of you might know the cause/how to fix it.
It's been happening for a little while, but I don't know when it started exactly. I've just been coping with it for a while.
So the problem is as follows: Whenever I either let my Nook go to sleep, tap the power button to make it sleep, or turn my Nook all the way off and reboot, if I had the GlowLight on directly before any of the above actions, for some reason my Nook doesn't register that the light was turned off when I turned off the device. I mean, yes, the light itself turns off, of course, but when I want to turn it back on again after putting it to sleep or even rebooting entirely, the light is still considered "On" in the GlowLight control window, and for me to actually turn it on again, I have to turn it "Off" first, and then back on again.
This is somewhat annoying, as I normally need to turn on my GlowLight at the lockscreen using the "hold the N button" function, but if I do after I had the GlowLight on before turning it off, I have to hold the N button for 2 seconds to get the Nook to think that the light is "Off", and then I have to unpress the N button and then press it for 2 seconds again to actually get the light to turn on.
Hopefully I wasn't all too redundant, but can anyone help me fix this little bug?
Thanks,
