First Android Tablet PC - WePad

the german company Neofonie is selling the first Android Tablet Computer very soon.
It's called WePad and kinda reminds me of the iPad.
But wait, the WePad is much better!

According to Heise (http://www.heise.de/mobil/meldung/Tablet-Computer-mit-Infrastruktur-fuer-Verlage-961008.html - german!) it's not an Android tablet, but can run android apps via a wrapper.

I'd rather wait for ICD's Nvidia Tegra2 based Vega tablet...

And the display really rocks... I have an OLPC, which has a similiar display. I wish I could get that screen for my thinkpad.

Cool Sony Xperia gets Ice cream

The Cool Smartphone, Sony Xperia S would be launched in the UK on 6 March 2012. Play.com is currently taking pre-order for this Sony smartphone on £449.99 (SIM free / unlocked) and free delivery. New Xperia S was officially announced last month and comes as the first Sony smartphone.

The Xperia S packs a 4.3-inch touchscreen Reality Display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and Mobile BRAVIA Engine, a 12MP rear-facing camera with 1080p video capturing, and a 1.3-megapixel front camera.
In term of connectivity, there are HSPA, NFC, DLNA, Wi-Fi, GPS, and HDMI port. Other feature is anti-stain coating and access to PlayStation Store.
Dimensions of Sony Xperia S are 128 x 64 x 10.6 mm and weighs 144 grams.

[OPINION]Galaxy S3; A Huge Disappointment

As the case with everyone else, i was super excited for the s3. After all the rumours and leaks surrounding it are to be cleared. When i first saw it, my first reaction was,"is that that the galaxy nexus fused with s ii.''
The So-Called Galaxy S III is a huge disappointment for me. Samsung teased us by saying that something big is coming, well it's certainly big - 4.8'' inch big.
Let's take a look at what i found so disappointing in S III
1. Display: 4.8" 16M-color HD (720 x 1280 pixels) Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen,
REASON - Dude Sammy, you could just use the old screen size, increasing the resolution. The 4.8'' is too big and i bet that ladies will certainly avoid it.
2. CPU: Quad-core 32nm ARM Cortex A9 1.4 GHz processor, Exynos 4212 Quad chipset
REASON - They used four cores, when they can use two. I mean instead of four Cortex A9, they can simply use tow Cortex A15 cores.
3. TouchWIZ - The pure ICS UI is so sexy, but you ruined by your crapwiz.
4. Design - It looks like a Galaxy Nexus fused with the S II.
I think that the S 3 is a huge disappointment comparing the kind of hype they built with it.

God awful design choice. Plastics for one + a shiny back that attracts fingerprints? Blue instead of black? Ugh
Samsung had the opportunity to really push the envelope... and instead they sat back and unveiled a disappointing "flagship"

the design is the only let down, do not say other thing as disappointments. screen and processor are the right choice. how on earth will any mobile company launch a phone with stock ics UI?

Im interested in buying one of the Blu phones and wondering why the price of the Vivo Air is much more than the Studio X when they have similar specs.

The vivo air has better specs in a few things but what really moves the price up it's the build materials and the engineering on the vivo air since it's a 5.1mm thin!
