Nothing more is needed, just place the files on your SD card, run CLRCAD and HARET and enjoy

Follow This and I believe you can get on the Android bus soon.
I use Android Loader v6.0 Final for HD2 for dual booting WM6.5 and Android. After that, all you have to do is following the chief's instruction, and enjoy the delicious meal.

If you now running WM 6.5 you can download ROM from this :

You can read instruction from the thread rom,,,you
I think NAND is very great than SD....

Thank you all...I have only one dilemma, do I need to install HSPL 2.08 instead of mine 3.03. or not?

Nope, HSPL is needed only for flashing to the NAND memory (e.g. a new WinMo ROM, Android NAND or WP7).

Your current ROM and Hardware will let you run a lot of ROM's mentioned in Walidhazem compilation thread including how to do.

NAND Question!

Hi there,
I have got a problem. I have managed to changed my stock ROM from 3.14 to 1.66 because i wanted to NAND my Hd2. But the problem is after installing HSPL2 or HSPL 3 and then installing MAGLDR 1.11 i get white screen with HTC logo. I have read somewhere that it doesnt work with 1.66. Because i cannot find any different Stock ROM than 1.66 and 3.14 does it mean i cannot install it at all ? Thanks

keep 3.14 and flash yourself a radio which supports 576 ram (if your recent rom doesnt already contain such radio). the right radios have a .50 in its version
So i install 3.14 with radio .50 then install HSPL 3 ? then MAGLDR 1.11 and thats it ? I can continue NAND my HD2? Thanks for quick replay

i didnt flash a nand rom yet, but i think i read that you should use hspl 2.08.
basically it cant be wrong the way you posted, but check nand threads about proper installation.
i somehow managed to downgrade to 2.08 but it bricked windows. But then MAGLDR started up and i have now got NAND on my HD2. Thanks
Same problem
Hello, I recently got a new hd2 because my old one broke and it has the 3.14 rom preloaded on it, I can't find anywhere to download the older rom so I can load MAGLDR111 to load NAND android, can anyone post a link to older roms for US t-mobile HD2 or is there a work around to install MAGLDR111?
Thanks for quick response

well afaik you do not need to flash anything with t-mobile hd2, you already got a radio version which supports 576mb ram. why should you downgrade to an older winmo rom?
you're ready to go, so you can just go through magldr and android installation

[Q] installing HSLP3_PKG question

Hello everybody I have an HTC HD2 WM 6.5 for T-Mobile USA; I have
SLP 2.10.000
Ratio version 2.15.50.14
ROM version 3.14.531.1 (04666) WWE
RAM size 576 MB
Flash memory size 1024 MB
Can I install HSPL3_PKG.exe? or do I need to do something first?
Can I format my SD card? and at what point?, I would like to have everything clean before MAGLDR 1.11 and DFT NAND Android 2.2.
Thank you guys, you all are doing a great job.

Yes mate, you should be able to install HSPL with no problem.
As for the SD card, you can do what you like with it. You don't need to format it at all, if you're using a NAND based Android ROM. You may want to though, as you said, to start clean.
Good luck, and have fun
Dude, thank you very much, I just got it!!!, DFT NAND Android is already running, thank you very much.
Do you have any idea how to fix the internet back on my phone, it seems to be unconfigured for that. Thank you

[Q] How To Identify Radio Version Installed

I've had a rummage and can't find the answer to this question so hopefully somebody can enlighten me.
I bought my HD2 with WP7 already installed in NAND but want to dual boot with Android.
Having read the guides on here I know what the pre-requisites appear to be for this and I've identified that it has MAGLDR V1.12 and SPL-2.08 but I can't find out the Radio version installed.
How can I tell which Radio version is installed under WP7 ?
Would it be safe to assume that as it has WP7 installed it has an acceptable Radio version ?
Thanks
You stated that WP7 was already installed on your HD2 when you bought it. For WP7 you need Nand and for Nand you need a Radio which supports 576mb RAM. To my knowledge there is Radio versions 2.08 and 2.15 which supports 576mb RAM. Most have Radio version 2.15. Both Radios will work fine in Android.
If you are looking to dual boot WP7 and Android, then follow my tutorial here and dont forget to say thanks .
AndHD2 Thanks for that information.
Your tutorial was one of the ones I'd read and printed off when researching how to do the dual boot thing.

[Q] change T-Mobile german branding to O2 and Androidbuilt on SD

Hi XDA!
I bought a used HD2 with a T-Mobile Germany branding to have a backup for my nearly 2 years old O2 Germany branded device. This one works fine for me even after I have switched to Cookies Home Tab.
Questions:
1. I want to get rid of the T-Mobile branding. Am I right to use HSPL4 to flash the HD2?
2. Am I able to install after flashing the latest O2 Germany ROM?
3. What if I backup before installing the O2 ROM and restore afterwards? Will there be any problem because of different ROM versions used?
4. The latest O2 Germany ROM version is using SPL 3.03.0000. Do I have to flash it again via HSPL4 to SPL 2.08 to install a SD built of Android? If yes: what about the functions of the WinMobile with that SPL downgrade? Will everything work fine or are there any known bugs?
5. I would prefer this Androidbuilt as my first trial: [NOV07] AmeriCanAndroid AOSP HD2 GB2.3.7 CM7.1 | bk2sdext [KERNEL:ACA823]. Would that be possible?
Any comments are highly appreciated.
Thanks guys!

hspl2 hspl3 or hspl4 will all work, howeer if you want a 3.14 version rom you should use hspl4 to set 3.03.hspl

sure, , you dont need to flash the o2 rom you know? it will still work on o2 without the o2 rom

depends on teh type of backup, so yes you may have problems switching different rom versions. If it were me id back up contacts and calendar and reinstall everything else from scratch,
4. The latest O2 Germany ROM version is using SPL 3.03.0000. Do I have to flash it again via HSPL4 to SPL 2.08 to install a SD built of Android? If yes: what about the functions of the WinMobile with that SPL downgrade? Will everything work fine or are there any known bugs?

dont need 2.08 to run SD android, but you DO need 3.03 to run 3.14 winmo.

Hi Samsamuel,
that was a very quick reply to all my requests! Thanks for this.
Just to understand everything correct...
-I need to flash by HSPL4 to HSPL3.03 to switch from my T-Mobile Germany ROM to my desired O2 Germany ROM; 3.14 WinMo will still be used
-After this is done I do not need to flash HSPL2.08 because an Android SD built will work with the HSPL3.03 as well
Is this correct? In fact I am not sure about this last point. Because I found this note in the original post of HSPL4 by Cotulla:
"This HSPL released for WM65 users, to provide better compatible with ROMs based on Official 3.XX ROM.
Android / WP7 / MAGLDR don't support HSPL3.03/OSPL3.03. You need HSPL2.08 to run Android / WP7 / MAGLDR."
This confuses me a little bit....
Angus
yea you need 3.03.hspl for the o2 rom, and that bit from cotulla is talking about nand android. (or at least thats my understanding, ive never used sd android, lol)

HTC HD2 T-Mobile Help Needed!

Dear Developers, I am a noob and want to install Android on my device, have done a lot of research on this topic but can't find any suitable ROM.
I am having HD2 with the following Configuration:-
ROM Version- 1.43.110.2 (70315) WWE
ROM Date- 10/28/09
Radio Version- 2.04.50.22_2
Protocol Version- 15.26.50.07U
Manilla Version- 2.5.19202525.0
OS Version- 5.2.21864 (21864.5.0.81)
Can anybody tell me how can I port Android 4.0(In SD CARD) with HTC Sense into it. Which ROM will be suited and how can i put that ROM. Or is there any method like- getting Original HD2 ROM and then after that all ROMs support the device?
Every time I search on internet I get confused and sometimes scared about DEAD HD2s. I really love my phone, the only problem is that it doesn't support .NET3.5 Framework and because of that there are very less apps available. Once I get android, my phone will shine like a diamond.
I am really not that concerned of HTC Sense what I want is Android 4.0 or 2.3 with all functions properly working.

Arun Wadhwa

If you want to install SD Android there is no chance of bricking your phone. Just download the ROM from the thread (check the SD Development section) place the 'Android' folder on the root of your SD card then run CLRCAD and HARET. As for choosing a ROM, there is no Sense 4 ROM, but aside from that there's basically anything else you could possibly want. People can't tell you the 'best' ROM because different people like different things. Try some out, and decide for yourself.
In future please search properly, everything there ^ could be found with a forum search.
But Still?
You are saying right, but how will I find the right version? I am having a TMOBILE 1.43.110.2 (70315) WWE ROM.

What do you mean by 'right version'? WinMo doesn't affect SD Android, the right version is the one you like best. As long as you have a .50 radio (which you do) you're fine.
@Nigel, 2.04.50 radio doesn't count as a 50 radio, (at least as far as unlocking ram and not bricking tmouses) 2.05.50 and below (and perhaps 2.06.50, I forget without checking) are not tmous compatible.
@op, don't confuse your t mobile issued REGULAR hd2 with all the talk about the tmous, or t mobile USA hd2. You have a regular hd2. (Proven by the rom version)

I thought something was fishy with the ROM version, thanks for clearing that up. Either way, @OP just update your ROM to the latest version or flash a newer radio then do as above for Android.
I replied in your other post....you need latest rom with radio 2.15..(radio above 2.08 is compulsory for Android) ....install hspl4..and then put SD build on card and enjoy...I recommend trying the new native SD way...fastest rom just like nand install
Please go through stickies in the Android forum or search in xda not Google
Samsamuel has enough experience in this forums with guiding and preventing people from bricking their tmous hd2 with flashing. 51 radios...so if he says it's not tmous...it is not...happy flashing

Radio?
You mean if I update my ROM my radio will be automatically updated? If yes, then i only have to put an android rom in sd card and then install it? I hope there is no risk of bricking my phone. Is the latest ROM (WM) available on HTC website(INDIA) suitable for this? Please reply guys! If its really that simple, my phone will shine like a diamond. Please answer while keeping my ROM in mind! Your help will be appreciated.
If it's to be done manually(Radio), then how to do it and what are the risks?
correct, stock roms include spl and radio.
get hspl4
use it to set 3.03.hspl (NOT 3.03.0000, thats stock)
run the 3.14 rom you wanna flash over usb
radio will now be 2.15.50 and rom will be 3.14
go ahead and put sd android on sd
spl?
Okay, so let's make it clear. First, I've to download a ROM from htc India's website, then I've to install it by connecting it through USB, after that I've to download any one ROM from xda developers' website(of android). Then what? What was that 'spl' thing you were saying? How to change that spl, etc... Can you please elaborate. Your help would be appreciated.
no
1/ bootloader
2/ hspl4.exe --> 3.03.hspl (this is a hacked spl, , spl = secondary program loader, , ,it starts the phone, teh hacked one allows the wrong rom to be flashed without failing, , you do NOT currently have hspl because you chose 3.03.0000 which is the factory spl)
3/ bootloader
4/ install the indian rom over usb
done.

Why elaborate when everything's already there for you? There's a forum search tool at the top of your page, as I stated earlier - USE IT.
What?
I am currently having SPL- 1.42.0000, I've already listed my ROM and radio. So first I need to get a new rom from HTC with SPL 3.03.0000 and a better radio. Then I've to install HSPL 3.03 via HSPL4, after that I've to put Android ROM in SD CARD formatted in FAT32, then run the CTRLPD(or whatever) and haret.exe, then I am done! Aren't I right?

then
bootloader
run hspl4
choose 2.08.hspl
bootloader
flash radio 2.15.50 (see the 'various radios roms and tools' link in my sig)
bootloader
flash magldr
magldr menu - usb flasher
nand toolkit - select target partition size on left, click repartition bottom left
magldr menu - 8 - ad recovery
cwm starts
choose 'instal zip from sd - choose zip - and point it to teh zip file you wanna instal
thats it

I read your comments and researched on many websites and found one with easy guides- Addictivetips or something like that. Now I know the whole procedure. Thanks to you and that website. One last thing, do u think their are any chances of getting hd2 bricked with the rom i mentioned, just last question. Is it safe?
No you don't have a tmous, only tmous risks brick from wrong radio.
