Hello,
My sister bought me a samsung galaxy s2 i9100 from Thailand
Its
product code : GT-I9100LKATHL
PDA : I9100DXKF4
PHONE : I9100DXKF1
CSC: I9100OLCKF1
Now I have a very bizarre problem
We have in Israel 3 carriers and
pelephone : 3g-2100 , 850
cellcum: 3g-2100, 850
orange: 3g-2100, 900
Now I can not get 3g in orange.. Only with cellcum and pelephone sim card..
Could it be that my device dont support 2100 ( or maybe its turned off in the modem ?)
like in here
android fourm (cant post links) ... 258859-how-enable-850mhz-3g-network-frequency-your-samsung-i9000-galaxy-s.html <-- I tried it does not work..
But I did not tried to put a different rom..
I dont want to reinstall everything..
Is there a way only to flush the modem????
My big question is .
When I'm connected to 3g Is there a way to know in what mhz am I connected?
If when I put pelephone sim card I'll know what mhz is used to be connected to 3g it will help me Identify the problem...
Thank you
UPDATE
Well I've updated to lite'ning Rom v4.2
Still all I get from Orange is G
Is it possible that the phone does not support all 850/900/1900/2100?
Could it be ?
update
Well its seems that I just had a bad orange sim card it was sim+ instead of usim+
The stupid thing is that In the first time I sow the problem I suspected it was a bad sim card.. I called Orange and the stupid lady told me that My sim card is ok and If I have a problem its in my phone...
I want to start learning to build a rom and i want to know as an extra thing for me can i modify the network wich responds an rom for example i want to china ics to respond to open europe networks like cosmote , vodafone.
Edit my phone is an defy xt535.
Hi!I write for the first time,i use american android sd method, but i have problem ,pleace help guys,i lose connection and 3g & H sometimes.I think is because im in bulgaria and my csc is for another country?May i change csc and how?I try diferent android version but american is the best, just this issue.
Hello,
According to Google, csc is a company in bulgaria
If you mean "APN", you should contact your carrier and ask for the correct information. It can also be a poorly covered area (since it's only 3G/H). Try switching to 2G and see if data disconnects.
here is my situation.
i am in Spain , there are 4 major operators Movistar, Orange, Vodafone and Yoigo, with its own network , and dozens virtual operators.
recently i changed my operator to Yoigo , this operator has its own network and national roaming on Movistar.
my problem is , if my phone is under Yoigo network (both 4G and 3G) , i can NOT dial or receive any callings but i DO have data connection , all way up to maxim speed . if I manually locked it into Movistar network , it can dial/receive callings. Yoigo has its own 4G network , if i lock into Movistar, it's only up to H+ . this is problem ...
so i communicated with Yoigo , they say my line is fine , suggest me get a new sim card, i did , doesn't work either.
then I put my SIM into an i9515, it works on that phone and some other phone. I tried another Yoigo SIM on my phone , that SIM got same situation as mine.
I also tried other 6 operators SIM, they are all working fine on my phone , so i think my phone is hardware'ly fine.
I flashed official TW 5.0 with Bootloader and Lollipop baseband , no good.
i flashed older TW 4.4 with baseband , no good.
i restored IMEI that backup'ed when i bought phone , no good.
also , if i try to set something like voice mail , divert callings in "Phone" , it reports "SIM card or Network error"
symptom: if i dial out, 4G falls back to 3G, and then the dialing pad just closed on its own.
if someone calls , he gets information like "this number is not available "
any idea will be much appreciated :fingers-crossed:

Have you flashed a ROM specifically for Spain? Flashing different regional firmwares could be the cause of this issue. Also try going to settings > connections > more > mobile networks > network operators > set default setup to manual setup and make sure that it is registering the network properly.

I figured it out, it was IMEI blocked by operator

he told me it was fully unlocked, but how do i know for sure ?
ok it appears that i get signal bars but it tells me i cant register on the network, this seems to be a common problem judging from all the vids on yt or google results, but so far none of the solutions presented worked for me ( i still havent flashed anything)
Edit: ok ive flashed 2 roms through odim and problem still persists, help ? the odin files reflash the modem right ?
Edit2: flashed the latest modem file (same problem)
Edit3 : Flashed cm13 problem still persists im beginning to think the imei might be blocked here in portugal, anyone knows of a way to check if it is ?
