Hi Everyone.
One simple question.
When I install a new ROM (e.g. Energy Rom March15)
and a few days later a new version comes out (e.g. Energy Rom March19th),
do I always have to start "from scratch" and do a full flash ?
Do I always lose my apps and wipe my settings ?
Or can I do an update ?
Greetings !

Dear poeple,
I have this question about an upgrade i have put on my artemis .
I have upgraded my artemis to wm6 rom Gibs217 now i wanted to roll back my phone to the old settings and the old rom.
I have upgraded it so my question is can somebody please tell me how to downgrade my artemis to the old settings and rom again .
Very much appreciate the help.
Greetings,
Vibes.
the same way as you upgraded just with the old rom insted of the new one
the old rom is gon from your device and will have to be reapply'd
upgrading error
But thereis the problem when i reapply the original rom after 1% it crashes and say that the rom is corrupt i tried it with 3other images and they all did the same so what would you do if you were me ? isnt there a way to remove the new rom and let the original rom install itself or something ?
sorry dont know much about flashing artemis
but when you flash a new rom it's kinda like formatting your pc harddisk
and installing a new os
you cant roll back
i would wait and see if a more spc artemis expert flasher comes along and tell you what to do
or start reading threads about how to fix your flashing issue
few issues comes along that nobody before have encountered
so it could be that search would lead you do a fix
Hello All,
I am new with those things and I need help.
After all experiments with all various ROM's and everything I decide to install in my S200 all new original official clean system.
Can somebody please explain to me how to do that?
One more question.
If I am updating ROM, I am changing Windows or no?
Regards,
Zoran
I suggest you to try Arto's clean rom . To flash , please read the rafyvitto's rom's post . just Run acer_euu and put your device into bootloader mode , the same way you used to flash previously.

the rom you use is very old....
i think its time to change your rom !!
if you want a cyanogenmod rom :

if you want a sense rom :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1326217
after flashing the sense rom, flash this kernel

both the above roms are best in their class (according to me)
i my self use the dorimanx 3.0 rom !!
!!
regards......
Yes, it is probably the best if try something new.
Install new rom and before you do that make an SD ext partition. With that you gonna have more free internal space for installing apps. After that you can also move them to the SD card (if they can work from there of course) ...
Thats my advice ...
And 1 more thing - if you decide do change the kernel make sure that this kernel gonna work with the rom .... some kernels can't work with not sense roms for example ...
As already announced the ROM you are using is very old. Since your decision was to pick up a ROM which is very close to stock I suggest using tytungs ROMs. You can try his NexusHD2-Gingerbread V3.2a. To get more space for installing apps search for app2sd+...
and please next time use a subject in your thread ...
3. Post only using a clear subject and message.
You're most likely to receive a helpful answer to your question if you use a short subject title that describes your problem and a message that explains in detail what your problem is and what you've tried to solve it.
